    I brought my ******* A32 phone to them because the screen was black. I was assured it was repairable. After coming back to the store 4 times over a 7 day period I was advised that the motherboard was fried and it wasn't fixable. I was then presented a $55 "bench-charge". If I knew in advance that there was a chance that the phone may not be repairable I would have saved $55 and applied it to a replacement phone. I would have saved 1 week and multiple frustrating trips. Never again at this store. Perhaps I should have gone to ************ to start with. Just another of life's lessons.

    Hi ****, thank you for taking the time to detail your experience with us. I feel there may have been some misunderstandings, so I'd like to paint a clear picture for anyone who happens to read your review of our store. You came to us initially 10/6/2023 stating your device was not displaying anything and asked us to repair it. You advised us that you thought there might be an internal short causing the display issue, and I stated its not uncommon for the displays to go out after drop damage, water intrusion, or sometimes even unprovoked. I advised you I thought it could be repaired with a screen, however if we were unsuccessful, we charge a $55 bench fee for spending our time on the attempt. I found a part in my inventory that was compatible, but required me to modify the part to make it work for your model. I generously offered to try to successfully modify this part, to try to save you from waiting. You agreed, and I asked you to return in 2-3 hours. Modification of this part was unsuccessful, and resulted in that part being unusable. Not any fault of yours. I then proceeded to order the part, waiving our initial deposit since I wanted to improve our experience. I understand the failed first attempt was frustrating, so I wanted to help out with that. We ordered and received in 3 screen replacements the model you have. I like to order multiples, so if we incur any issues, we can easily determine whether its a failed part or a device issue. We installed the part on your device, and tested to find it was working as intended. It wasn't long before you came back stating the device was not functioning. I confirmed the issue, and we took the device back in for a warranty repair. We tried using both other screens on your device, and neither of them worked. As uncommon as it is, it seemed your initial suggestion of an internal short was true, so I refunded you everything you paid, minus the $55 bench fee. I advised you of this and you said "I guess I don't have a choice". I said "It's not really a matter of not having a choice, its a matter of what's fair to you and to us." and nothing more was said on the matter. After all, as with all our other clients, I stated this potential charge to you before any work was done to the device. I hope this clarifies any misunderstandings, and you're free to call us or stop in if there is anything more we can do to help you understand our position. **************
