I reached out to Air Bulance LLC when I needed service on my ** unit. I decided to use this company because they are local. When they arrived at my condo, they told me they could flush out the lines but what I really needed was a new unit. On September 2, 2021, I agreed and spent $4,450 for a new system. The problems didn't end. My ** would completely stop working approximately every other month and each time, I would call, they would come out and blow out my lines. At one of the service calls, the technician finally suggested that I should install a condensation pump which would fix the problem of my ** stopping. On April, 8, 2022, I had the pump installed for $375. This also didn't work. Instead, I would have water all over the floor from the pump and the ** unit continued to shut down. When I would call for service, there was no sense of urgency and I was told to calm down. It was very insulting. I finally was fed up when my ** starting leaking so much water from the unit, I had to get towels and a bucket. I called a different company and they quickly identified the problem. The pump that was installed by Air Bulance LLC was missing a gasket, cracked and pushing water to the floor. The new company was also able to see that the pipes that were installed that fed into the pump were installed incorrectly. They took the piping apart, replaced the pump and corrected all of the mistakes made by Air Bulance. Now I know they are a scam. Air Bulance has images on their site with logos of ****** and 5 star reviews that are links that don't work, when calling the phone number on their site the mailbox is always full so you can't leave a message, and the manager threatens to not send a tech if he feels you are disrespectful with his solutions being to turn off your air until he can send someone out the next day between 10am - 2pm. I would like a refund of shoddy condensation pump that I had to replace after 3 months.Business response

Hello to all.
Air Bulance installed for you ac system and the ac system works great. The only issue was the drain line, which was getting clogged. Your drain line is merging with all the building drain therefore you have an issue with it. Every time that you called we come and flush the drain for you. The pump was working great, and you called with an issue on Sat when the company was closed. I did call you again on Sunday morning and even sent my crew for free but you canceled the visit.
AirBulance always give 5 stars service to all our clients.
I just want to let you know that we will come for free to fix any issue.

On Sunday, July 3, 2022 at about 5:15 p.m. AirBulance LLC ************ responded to my call regarding a very leaky hose from air conditioner in a rental unit of mine, after a call from my tenant in ************, **********, **. *** was sent out by the company. He came in and worked for a few minutes and showed me the rubber hose with the binding attachments and said it was all fixed. I followed him down to his vehicle and he wrote up the invoice; I paid with credit card $212.93. He was not gone 5 minutes when the tenant called me and said the A/C was still leaking just as much as it had been when he arrived!!! I called *** and he said he was too far away and on his way to the next customer so couldn't come back; that he would be back at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning. I waited for a call or his arrival until 11:00 a.m. then called the owner (or whatever title he holds) *******************. He just started rattling on and on. I told him that I was filing a dispute with my credit card company and that he would not be paid, and that they did not perform any service at all - NONE! Only frustration. I have since hired another A/C company to come out and make the necessary repair(s).Business response

I don't understand what the complaint is about.
You order service on the fourth of July weekend and we charge you just for the service call $212.
Our tech didn't do any repair and we told you that we will come the day after with a new hose to fix the leaking issue. I called you the day after and you canceled the visit. We charge you just for the service call and even the service call you dispute on your credit card. Please make sure you call to fix the issue with the payment or we will send it to collection.

Airbulance was hired by us on June 13,2022. The tech that came over was quick to hike up the price to do a Freon leak test. His taped up machine never detected a leak but upon doing doing a test with soap and water he supposedly found an extremely small leak. Said leak was fixed and the ** worked for 10 days. On June 23rd, exactly 10 days after the ** was not cooling once again. I called Airbulance and the so called manager, **** was quick to say that he could offer a new unit. Our unit is only about 4 years old. This person was clearly just trying to sell something I do not need. *** refused to send someone out on the same day. Next day, the same tech from the first time around showed up. He again tried using his taped up Freon leak detector after running to the dollar store to get batteries. This machine again did NOT detect any leaks. The tech moved to check the outside and stated he found another leak. The tech needs to call the manager for everything! He called to the manager to ask about the new found leak. The manger said to not fix it and sell us a new unit. Again, why are you trying to push something I dont need? He insisted on selling the unit and I lost my patience. He then proceeded to want to charge $850 to fix the new leak. I told my husband, who was on the phone w w/ the manager to tell him to get lost and that we do not have the money to simply buy a new unit. The manger then proceeded to offer to sell us a USED UNIT. Sir, what I have IS a used unit. Youre greedy & dishonest. From the moment out reached out to you to come back you tried to sell me a new ** unit. Our $450 went down the drain and I honestly like to get it back. A all leaks should been been detected upon payment the first time around. Your business is shady and all you do is rip-off people. Your dishonesty and audacity to try to sell us something we dont need is outrageous. To all homeowners out there - BE AWARE and stay away from this company.Business response

Good afternoon
I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the service but you can understand that sometimes you cant see all the freon leak. Our tech recharge the system with freon and add stop leak to the system but the freon leaked out after 10 days. Your ac system is 6-7 years old and the ***** coil at the condenser can cause a lot of problems therefore we offer you a new ac system with 10 years warranty. We will be happy to come for free again to give you any help with the ac or we will deduct the repair cost from the new ac price so it will be win win for you.
