I received a parking violation for delivering food to a customer in an apartment complex. I attempted to appeal this and it was denied which is not fair.They said this : Thanks for taking the time to appeal your Parking Charge Notice (********). This Parking Charge Notice was issued for the following infraction: Failure to Display Pass / Permit. At this time, your appeal has been denied. To resolve this Parking Charge Notice and make a payment, please access the Web Payment System.Operator Comment: Guest vehicles must park in the designated guest parking and are not permitted to park in resident parking. This vehicle was parked in resident parking at the time of the issued notice. This appeal is declined.This is unfair . How would I know there is a certain place to park if i'm doing a delivery. On 2/11/2023 I parked my car in the handicapped spot at 101 ********** in ************.I entered my information and thought I paid correctly on the App PaybyPhone. When I got to the restaurant ( approximately 12 minutes later i checked the app and saw an error message. I repeatedly tried to pay and kept on receiving an error message. As I was with my disabled 92 yo mother I was not able to leave her and go back to the parking location. I tried to contact them through chat and also by the provided phone number. When I returned to my car I had a ticket for $55! I feel this was a scam because the app didn't work and I did everything I could to pay without immediately running bak to the car because I couldn't due to my 92 yo mother. If the app didn't work and I couldn't pay and tried multiple times I shouldn't have to pay the excess fees for this ticket . I am providing you with screen shots to show that I tried to ontact the parking company but couldn't reach anyone to resolve the issue. I didn't toake a picture of the error message becasue i thought this problem would be resolved. I feel scammedBusiness Response

***********************I responded to this before. As I said, which now you have experienced, I tried to pay because the app didn't work. I used their chat option and the phone number but couldn't pay and couldn't pay on the app. When I wrote them to explain they declined my appeal without any explanation and said they wouldn't address it again. They are very unapproachable and I don't feel I should pay for the penalty because I tried to pay but the app didn't work

I went downtown to go to the courthouse, while searching for a place to park I came upon one of their lots and went to ask the man at the booth for information while trying to understand what he was saying he spoke Spanish and I only speak English and it was 6am in the morning no one else was there and he managed to tell me after 15 minutes that he just cleans there. Then we left and parked next door for $10 a day. We were sent a parking ticket for $90 and we was just riding through getting parking information. Its not fair and its not right. They need to be held accountable for cheating people. They even sent a notice with the time I came and time I left. This is outrageous.Business Response

12/22/2022 On this date I went for the first time to this Texas de Brazil to celebrate my wifes birthday . Given the lack of parking space I saw a building which I was under the impression that was part of the plaza and not something that I will be require to pay parking. I have to add that I did not see the sign that shows that parking payment is required. It is clear that I was not the only person that did not see the sign since the also ticketed the vehicle next to me( I have attached evidence of this ). I was very honest when I submitted my appeal which they simply denied without looking at the actual facts . I have provided my apologies and request to please allow me to pay for the regular price . I documented the time that I left to aid them to calculate but again they just simply denied my appeal. Im going through this channels to have a neutral party to assist. I parked in a facility apparently using the app PayByPhone. I did run past the time I paid for by about 15 minutes so when I received a bill for an outrageous amount I just figured it was a ****** learned. The bill said if paid within 15 days of notice (2/10/23) I could pay a reduced (!) amount of approximately $45. Since there is a fee of $4.99 for online payment I mailed a check on 2/13, which was likely postmarked the 14th. By the 17th I received a second bill saying I owed $85 plus tax. They still have not cashed my check as of the 21st. Now I wonder if this is even legitmate after reading and researching more and wondering if I should cancel my check. I juts want the bill settled. There is no way of contacting them other than automated payment numbers or online payments.Business Response

We parked at the Downtown ***** location for a special event which had a flat rate parking of $25 if dining in an establishment. We parked and started the process to make sure we wouldn't get a ticket and set everything up. We asked about validation as there was no option for flat rate parking just per hour. No one knew how to do this, the local establishments were upset as customers were asking them for help and they had no idea. Needless to say we paid for parking more than the flat rate of $25, we then proceed to get a parking violation ticket weeks later for $48.15. This company is a scam, they do not know what they are doing and trying to collect fees and fines on people who actually paid for parking. I need this resolved right away.Business Response

Dates: 1/25, 1/31, 2/3, 2/11 I'm trying to get in touch with this company and I filed a form to dispute the charges for parking. They are extremelly overcharged and I want to explain them that I work on the night shift and my daughter, who is not well mentally used my car and did the charge I just open one of the envelopes and realized that if this is after 15 days they charge 40 dollars on top of the 'discount' charge of 55, I have no time to open my mail, my husband has 2 cancers, my daughter is bipolar and she is single mother of 2 children 3 and 5 years old that I'm taking care of. I paid for parking at the designated meter for this lot and even returned before the purchased time had expired. I also never received a parking citation of any form on the vehicle while parked here. Yet, months later, I received a notification from the rental car company that I obtained this citation. I tried calling and emailing to dispute this charge, but I can't get through to anyone.
