This place is a Scam. You pay all this money for a puppy, that they say the puppy is up to date on vaccines and they are not. They also literally let me walk out of their store with just a puppy in hand and nothing else. For $5,400, I should have received toys, food, a kennel, all the necessities but I received nothing.

On September 30th, 2024, Ms. **** purchased a Corgi puppy from Petland Ft. Walton. At the time of purchase,Ms. **** was reviewed and signed the Puppy Purchase Warranty agreement which states “No return, refund,or exchange will be available unless one of the following conditions is met - A veterinarian certifies in writing the pet to have been unfit for sale, at the time of purchase, and other requirements provided by Florida law have been met. Customer will receive a full refund of the purchase price. If the customer makes a decision to return the puppy within forty-eight hours of purchase, the customer must pay a return-administration fee equaling 50% of the puppy's purchase price or $350 (whichever is greater).” The warranty also states that“Reasons such as allergies, landlord disputes, family disputes, change of heart, incompatibility with other animals, behavioral issues, etc. are not considered appropriate reasons to return a puppy.”On October 2, 2024, beyond the 48-hour return policy window, Ms. **** returned to Petland Ft. Walton seeking to return the Corgi puppy for a full refund, citing her daughter’s decision that the puppy was not a good fit. Despite the clear return policy requirements, Petland Ft. Walton made an exception, permitting an exchange under the condition that Ms. **** pay the standard 50% fee. Although dissatisfied with this policy, Ms. **** was allowed to exchange the Corgi for a Golden Retriever puppy, a more expensive choice. Petland Ft. Walton further attempted to support Ms. **** by discussing potential discounts on the Golden Retriever’s price, initially offering a $750 refund, which was later increased to $1,500. Despite these efforts, Ms. **** declined to cooperate with employees and disregarded managerial outreach. On October 4th, 2024, Ms. **** contacted Solutions.Pet stating that she was very irate after her store experience as she felt that the options given were not acceptable to her and was now out of a lot of money. She then complained that she was not given a homecoming kit with the Golden Retriever puppy and that she had to pay for vaccines. Solutions.Pet explained the return policies to Ms. **** in depth, explaining that Petland Ft. Walton went above and beyond for her to ensure she was satisfied. Solutions.Pet also explained that while a puppy leaves the store up to date on vaccines, it does not ensure that the puppy will not need more vaccines due to the puppy’s age. Those are the responsibility of the purchaser. Solutions.Pet also explained that she was given a homecoming kit with food, toys, and a crate for the Corgi puppy. As those items were not returned, and the puppy was just exchanged, Ms. **** did not qualify for a second homecoming kit. On October 9th, 2024, Solutions.Pet contacted Ms. **** to again explain the policies and offered her a $750.00 refund to satisfy the complaint as Ms. **** still came home with a puppy and additional items. Ms. **** was not happy with the offer and demanded a full refund while using profanity towards the customer service team. On October 11th, 2024, Solutions.Pet informed Ms. **** that Petland Ft. Walton would be willing to offer a refund of $1,500.00 to settle the complaint in full. Petland Ft. Walton acknowledges Ms. ****’s ongoing complaints; however, we have made extensive accommodations to address her requests. Although her exchange request exceeded the 48-hour return policy, we facilitated her switch to a different puppy and provided a $1,500 refund, which is beyond standard policy. Despite these actions, Ms. **** has continued to demonstrate uncooperative and inappropriate behavior toward both Petland Ft. Walton and Solutions.Pet employees. No further credits, refunds, or reimbursements will be issued. Sincerely, Petland Ft. Walton

We bought a puppy for the price 3500$. Put 1000$ down and financed the rest (2746,34) Employees told us that our payments are going to be around 90$ and will take 2 years. When we got bill in the mail to our surprise the APR is 29.99%. Minimum payment is 110$ (if you pay 110$ a month you will be paying for 10 years and 6436 in total) If you pay 117$ - 3 years- 4197$ in total) We were completely lied to and taken advantage off. Charged premium price for the neglected puppy with behavior issues. And no way to reimburse or anything. And extra vet bills for the shots that were due before we got the dog.
