    Unethical, Scammers, associated with Bayan Utility multi family company.I moved in post Covid. I was not provided my actually apartment until I signed the lease and received my key the day of move in. Though I stressed the importance of quietness I was provided an apartment next to the railroad. They did not give me a courteous warning that the train runs anytime of the day or night and my entire apartment will shake from the impact. It has caused my family many sleepless nights. 2023 we were advised that water will no longer be included in our rent. I was advised that the water will not vary much from the base rent. When Im fact the difference is over $200. The fees are calculated by Batam utility. They take the entire bill for the complex and split it between the tenants based upon the number of bedrooms you have. Because I have a 3/2 Im being charged majority. Even though my children (2)are out of the states for the majority of the time. Which leave me and only me utilizing water and sewer. Yet I have neighbors that have over 8 people living in their home. Im basically paying for someone else .. I have never experienced such nuisance!

    Hi ******, I appreciate you being our resident and part of our Indigo Isles community since 2021 and I want to address all your concerns and questions. If the train is still a nuisance for you and your family, please know that our offer to transfer you to a different unit within the property is still an option. I know youve declined it previously but know we can still help! We understand that with nowadays economy and inflation that is affecting all aspects of our lives, we all can feel it, and now more than ever every dollar spent counts. I understand that paying for water/sewer/trash is an extra expense for you and is something that youre not happy about. Unfortunately, residents paying utilities and communities billing them based on their household composition and size of the apartment they rent, is a common practice in an apartment industry. I wanted to make sure youre not getting overbilled for utilities and paying $200 every month like you stated, so I went ahead and checked your account with us and this is what I found. This month, June 2024, your total utility bill for water, sewer and trash was $56.88, in May 2024, it was $70.87, in April 2024 it was $83.29 and in March I see $79.98 charge. Please let me know if you dont have your utility invoices, we send every month and I will be more than happy to provide you with all of them and go over them in more details, to eliminate any confusion and misunderstanding.
