I spoke with energy seal about getting my new steel structure home insulated with spray foam. The owner **** was knowledgeable about the product and claimed to routinely work in Clay county. They provided 2.5 inches of spray foam insulation on ceiling and walls and insisted that was all that was needed. They started work on date promised. Overall qaulity of installation was good. Unfotunately it did not pass county inspection, as the equivalent * value did not meet my energy calculations. I felt blind sighted. Given that they routinely work in Clay county, this potential problem should have been known and discussed up front especislly when I expressed concerns over thickness of insulation. I ultimately had to have my energy calculations updated to reflect the * value equivalence installed. Although **** provied supporting documentaion to provide to county, ultimately it made no differece. This caused a 2 week delay in getting re-inspection and stopped work on home. **** never followed up on outcome.Review from Audrea L

Energy Seal was quick to offer an estimate and within days have our job completed. The whole process took less than 4 hours to complete, leaving no mess behind. Thus far, their promise to keep the temperature in the attic under 85 has been kept, allowing our upstairs unit to work properly and keep upstairs cool. Arrived on time, started preping immediately and got the job done more quickly than I had expected. considering all the wiring, water lines and heat/air condutioning ducts to get around I was amazed they didn't get lost or hung up under my 111 year old house.
