      Tell us why here...My name is ***************************.  Im the *** manager for Vacation Villas at FantasyWorld.  Your complaint to the BBB regarding your timeshare ownership was sent to the wrong resort.

      A cursory review of the public records of **************, *******, shows that on or about March 12,2007 and March 19, 2013, you purchased the timeshare from the original developer, Orlando ********************** ***************** for a week of timeshare located at Vacation Villas at Fantasy World II.

      The property I represent is Vacation Villas at FantasyWorld and is located at **********************  There is an entirely separate property located right next door to us with a very similar sounding name. That property is Vacation Villas at FantasyWorld TWO and is located at ********************** 

      The names of the two properties are similar because the same developer created both properties many years ago, but there is no legal relationship between the two properties.  We are separate corporations with separate ownership and separate management.

      Your inquiry concerns Vacation Villas at FantasyWorld TWO.  That is not us, I am unable to address your concerns.

      I am writing to file a formal complaint against Fantasy World, regarding my timeshare ownership. I am seeking assistance in relinquishing ownership of my timeshare due to financial constraints and misrepresentation of prices and services during the presentation. I have owned this timeshare for several years and have never been afforded the opportunity to use my week. I have paid all my maintenance fees on time and in full. Now I am being given yet another assessment fee for Hurricane *** which I have already foolishly already paid. (*** happened two years ago). Why are they asking for more money, I already paid it once and now they want to get paid again. I have limited financial resources, which makes it impossible for me to afford this timeshare purchase. The prices and services described to me during the presentation were severely misconstrued. I was not given the opportunity to confer with anyone about this purchase. Putting any more money towards this timeshare would be foolish and would only add to my ongoing burden. I kindly request your intervention in this matter to ensure a fair and equitable resolution. I am seeking to be relieved from this timeshare obligation and have the contract terminated. I appreciate your attention to this matter and kindly request that you take prompt action. Your assistance in resolving this ongoing burden will be greatly appreciated. I want monetary compensation for the times that my week was rented out due to my nonuse. I want totally out of this contract!

      We need to close our timeshare contract due to having to rely on credit cards to fulfill our timeshare payments. Whats caused the biggest issues for my finances is the shift from a dual-income to a single-income household. This change has significantly impacted my financial stability. Weve only utilized the resort twice, and not only did it not meet our expectations, but the flexibility promised in choosing locations has proven challenging and weve never been able to actually vacation where we want. Weve tried reaching out to the resort but unfortunately we havent had any progress in finding common ground to get our account closed. Would there be any way you could help us find a resolution?

      Vacation Villas at FantasyWorld is a timeshare that takes advantage of age and infirm costing us thousands of dollars. My wife was hit by a drunk driver a few years ago resulting in a head injury, and torn ligaments in her hip and legs. She can no longer drive and needs assistance to walk. She also suffers from degenerative *********** Disease and curvature of the spine. I have had 3 heart attacks narrowly escaping death and now have 5 cardiac stents. I also suffer from arthritis and osteoporosis with a painful pinched nerve in my neck. I have a debilitating digestive condition as well. Our health care expenses and health conditions make it impossible to use the timeshare. The Vacation Villa has refused our written notice of these issues and request to cancel our agreement. Other than drastic bill increases we have not heard from them. Please help us!

      I am rejecting this response because: We reject the response because our matter is not yet resolved. 
      We would like to receive information regarding the programs you have available, that will allow you to take our week back.
      As mentioned in our previous communication, my wife and I both suffer from health conditions that prevents us from even being able to use the timeshare. This ownership is a huge burden to us and while we don't want to put additional strain on other owners, maintaining this ownership just isn't feasible for us. Please let us give this ownership back to you. Please do anything you can to assist.

      The association offers a Wind down option to relinquish the ownership of the timeshare week.  To terminate immediately the fee is $3320.32 and the maintenance fees must be current.

      I appreciate you providing this information. I am interested in proceeding with this option and would like to know the next steps in order to get this process started. I do have a concern regarding the maintenance fees though. I made a maintenance fee payment back in December to take care of my maintenance fees, however, your company is reflecting that I still owe them. I have documentation showing that I paid you. Are you able to look into this for me? I do not believe that I owe anything additional for maintenance fees. If you are still showing charges on my account, I would appreciate the maintenance fees being waived. We have an exorbitant amount of health expenses on top of our monthly living expenses and anything you can do to assist would be appreciated. Also, considering our experience and our medical and financial hardships, is there anything that can be done regarding the termination fee? Please let us know. Thanks!

My wife, *****, and I are both 87 years old, and she is currently suffering from dementia. We are living on a limited income and are facing financial constraints that make it impossible for us to continue with this timeshare obligation. Our priorities have also shifted due to our circumstances.We kindly request your assistance in terminating this timeshare account mutually. Unfortunately, we do not have any family or friends who are interested in taking over this responsibility, and selling the timeshare is not a viable option for us. The only resolution we are seeking is to be released from our contract with Vacation Villas at FantasyWorld.Given our age and financial situation, it has become increasingly challenging for us to meet the financial obligations associated with the timeshare. We believe that it is in the best interest of both parties to find a solution that relieves us from this burden.We believe that the Better Business Bureau is committed to protecting consumers and promoting fair business practices.       I bought a timeshare with Vacation Villas at Fantasy World on September 4th, 2017. First, they offered me a timeshare that cost $20,000 paying $250 a month. I said that I couldnt afford it and after 5 hours they came up with much lower cost of $7,000 paying $123 monthly. I got upset because I felt like they had wasted my time and I had plans for the day with my daughter. I attended the presentation and they spent 7 hours convincing and portraying the timeshare as a great investment. It was two salespeople against me the whole time. At the end of the day, I felt obligated to agree with them.They rushed me into signing the paperwork and because I didnt bring any money to buy a timeshare, they ran my credit and offered me a credit card with **** of America to do the deposit. They did everything they could to make sure they got my money. They did not take no for an answer. They were vague when explaining the contract and they didnt explain the terms of the loan or the maintenance fees and taxes. The presentations are so forceful in general, no one has enough time to think things over before signing the contract. My experience was really bad, they tell you its a good investment and you could rent or sell and thats all a big lie. I have hardships and this is no longer something I can be a member of. In 2020, I reached out to the resort, and the representative confirmed that my account had been cancelled. Contrary to this confirmation, it seems that my account is still ********* to the present date. I intend to terminate this contract, and I will persist in reaching out to them until this issue is resolved.

      I am writing to file a formal complaint against Vacation Villas regarding their refusal to cooperate in the cancellation of our timeshare. Our experience with Vacation Villas has been marked by deceptive practices, false promises, and a lack of responsiveness. In December 2016, my spouse and I attended a timeshare presentation at Vacation Villas. We were enticed by the prospect of renting out our weeks each year to cover the costs, as explained by the sales staff. However, it soon became apparent that these claims were misleading and far from the truth. Following the presentation, we met with a salesperson to discuss the details of our timeshare purchase and arrange for the rental setup. Unfortunately, the salesperson informed us the next day that he had a family emergency and had to leave the country immediately. Despite his assurance that he would provide the necessary contact information for the rental, we were unable to reach him and obtain the promised details. We made countless attempts to reach the manager, often calling multiple times a day, but were consistently met with unresponsiveness.The misleading information, lack of cooperation, and unavailability of Vacation Villas' staff have left us feeling deceived and frustrated. We have made multiple attempts to communicate with Vacation Villas to request the cancellation of our timeshare. But, our efforts have been in vain, as we have received no resolution or acknowledgement of our requests. The lack of responsiveness and refusal to address our cancellation attempts have left us feeling trapped in a timeshare agreement that we no longer wish to be a part of.We request a thorough investigation into the deceptive practices of Vacation Villas and their refusal to cooperate in the cancellation of our timeshare. We appreciate your attention to this matter and kindly request that you update us on any progress or actions taken regarding our complaint. Thank you for your assistance.

      I booked fantasy world Resort for July 11, 2022 through************* I paid 259.91. I had to change the date. So I was prompted by******** app to cancel and rebook, which I did. That was in June. I still have not gotten my refund. I have contacted both******** and Fantasy World resort. Both are telling me to contact the other party for my refund. Also, for my new booking I had to pay funds to reserve. The total was 881.24. I paid 191.92. My balance was 575.80 according to********. When I checked inti the resort I had to pay 767.72 along with 100.00 deposit that is suppose to be returned. Expedia Itinerary number: ***************

There had not been any charges to her card for the first reservation that was cancelled. We have asked her to reconfirm that but we did not show anything on our side. The difference in price expected to pay was the Resort fee. Expedia listed her remaining room balance and separately listed the resort fee amount. The guest understood this and said she would book direct next time as making changes direct would have been easier.

We have attached a copy of the recorded deed and the recorded mortgage document bearing his signature. I want no contact from this "buissness " they're frauds and no paper was signed. I clicked the attached and there is noting there.
