Returned home on Sunday 6/23/24 at 1400hrs .No **. Thermostat inoperative. ****** searched and found Egberts Cooling and Heat. My call was promptly answered and a technician was scheduled to show between 1800 to 2000 hrs. Technician ******** arrived early in torrential down pour. He inspected the unit inside and OUTSIDE. ******** determined what the problem was and corrected it much quicker than I expected. He explained what the problem was and why it happened. With the ** being an older unit, ******** briefed me on what problems I might expect and what parts may need to be repaired/replaced in the not too distant future. As expected, ******** presented his "sales pitch" , matter of fact, low key , no pressure. Long story short,........ **/Heat problem, first call is to Egberts Cooling and Heat with ******** as the required technician. Five Stars !!!

egberts cooling is a top notch company! hands down best service I could ask for. I called because my ac system was not running and they came out the same day within an hour. the technician was extremely courteous and kind and knowledgeable. they gave me several reasonable options unique to my situation and in my budget..I chose one of the bottom options since I am in the middle of selling my house..I look forward to having egberts be my go to ac company for years to come and will use them to replace the older system at my new home within the next couple of months!

Our Air conditioner went stopped working on Saturday afternoon. I had cleaned out the main drain line with a hose, and inadvertently held it a little long triggering the float valve. We called a different company first, but they would not come out until Monday. Egbert actually came out on Sunday evening around 7 pm to "diagnose the system. Free as advertised. When the "tech" left my house Saturday, after preforming NO diagnostic tests other than a visual inspection, he sent me a generic quote for a $14,000 system, (with no specifications other than 4ton unit), and one other quote for $6000, for the replacement pieces for the air handler. I thought this weird, because he had guessed after our conversation that it was probably something small, like a transformer and float switch repair, but said that the 12 year old system was outdated and would soon need to be replaced anyway. ****** returned on Monday with another tech, that actually looked at the system with some basic equipment. He was able to get the system running by bypassing the float switches. At the end these Charming, charismatic individuals put together a "recommendation of fixes" This included a UV light install kit, $1200.00, Surge protector, I cant remember the cost on that, Another piece of equipment that was to reduce the starting load, and $390 transformer, $390 X 2 for two float switches. It was clear that this was all a sales call. The float switched cost $17-22, and 10 min install. The transformer is $39 with 15 min install. The only necessary parts were float switches. At the end Monday's visit was a $3,950 option, and a $1053.00 option. This entire visit was a sales attempt. When my wife posted her review on ******* I started to receive phone calls from solar companies. My wife set up this appointment under her name and my phone number, and it happened within 30 min of her posting a review.
