Do not hire ***** /luxury homes and pools. Like all others who have complained. He let all permits expire and never finished our pool. No inspections have been finalized. Thus, selling your home would be impossible. Pavers were so crumbled, that they were forming a sinkhole. He took money for a screen enclosure, but did not use the proper cement footers, no screen has been put up. He let his insurance lapse. I am out **********. HAD to pay for repair of pavers from another company, had to hire a separate pool contractor 5k to switch name of expired permits, so i can get them finalized. Also having to pay a screen company money to start from scratch and put up a screen. that's addition 20k. HIS BIG statement is that I own and have all my own equipment and crew, so the pool proceeds as promised.. I started 7-2022 and the pool/screen/pavers/electrical&/permits all remain undone.

DO NOT HIRE. BUYER BEWARE. This company - i.e. Bruce ***** - was hired by our developers to build the pool and amenity center for Lakewood Park in DeLand, Florida. This project began in 2/2022 when permits were initially pulled. From there - and as of today's date you can drive by and see - it is still wholly unfinished and completely and entirely unusable. Permits have been pulled and FAILED inspections multiple times for various items. The clubhouse/seating area is still bare concrete block and a roof. The drywall inside began and stopped and is half complete. The pool is a concrete filled hole in the ground with rainwater and trash. The surrounding pool walkway and bricking for the seats are completely unlevel and the ground was not level prior to laying. I could go on, as could all my neighbors. It has been months since a single person came out, and the last time a person did was for drywall. One person. One. Months have gone by, and the unfinished drywall half complete hangs in the "amenity center" by the concrete pool (hole) with no security fencing to prevent falls. Electrical is INCOMPLETE and only passed partial inspection way back at the end of January, 2023. There are NO signs of completion of the project, and no movement. When inquiring, there is no response. The one response that Bruce ***** provided said it was his "first and last". He advised on January 4, 2023 that the pool would be completed at the latest by end of February, 2023. We are NOWHERE near close. It looks like he has taken what money he has received from the developers and not come back to finish or no intentions in the near future. Bruce ***** has had multiple companies, dropped members of his executive board, and has switched the names of them to suit his needs to apparently begin projects and fail to finish, and never provide proper timeframes or truthful updates. Multiple requests have been sent and not responded to, therefore this is the next step.
