      I can't say enough good things about my experience with MediShare. I'm a realtor, so I don't have any company insurance to fall back on. I've been a member since 2016 -- when it was just my husband and I. Since then, we have welcomed 4 babies into our family and each pregnancy was covered as promised. There was even a maternity team of customer care at ********************** to help counsel me in how the billing works for pregnancies. I'll be honest, coming from a traditional health insurance company prior to my MediShare membership, there IS A LEARNING CURVE. However, once you learn the ropes, it's so worth it. I have recommended countless friends to become members, and even my own parents!There is a HUGE monthly savings we benefit from -- and the dental discount through Careington is phenomenal. We have SO many options for doctors near us. The third party site to search for a provider can be a big wonky/glitchy at times. However, when I have run into billing issues, MediShare is always great to help fix it or come to my defense to show that doctors are within our network.Highly recommend!!

      I have had to self-fund my insurance or health-sharing ministries for years as my employer doesn't cover any of that expense for me. I joined Medishare, and shortly thereafter, I had debilitating lower back pain to the point where I couldn't work for weeks and had to see an orthopedist. Medishare spent 5 months looking for a preexisting condition. 5 months later, they said that I had was denied coverage for my incident due to expressing to my doctor that I had back pain on and off before. Now, hear me out: having a sore back is NOT the same as a herniated disc that was diagnosed and noted after being under Medishare's policy. That's the equivalent to not paying for brain tumor treatment because you've had a headache before. It's completely crooked, and I'm extremely frustrated with my experiences with Medishare. When calling to complain, I'm placed on hold or sent to a voicemail of a woman named ***** that never answers or calls back.

      Hello ****, At Medi-Share, a member can appeal bill-sharing decisions with which they disagree. If the member believes medical records were misread, the member-voted guidelines were misapplied, or if the members providers incorrectly recorded the medical history, then an appeal can be initiated.       They cancelled my insurance. The values are opposite of ***** teachings. If you dont follow their rules they will throw you out of coverage. Wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy. Horrible organization with no care or compassion for others.

      Medi-Share is not health insurance, but rather, a community of like-minded believers who share in each others medical bills in accordance with the member-voted Guidelines. The Medi-Share Guidelines include membership criteria that must be met in order to remain in membership. In order to be good stewards of the members money, the Guidelines must be applied equally to every member. If you feel your membership was cancelled in error there is a process for reinstatement and a representative would be glad to talk you through that process.       I am two years into Medi-Share 65+ program with Christian Care Ministry and am VERY pleased with it. Anytime I have had a question or needed help they have responded immediately and in fact have been proactive in notifying me of any potential problems. Couldn't be happier with them!Also, the financial saving are INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend them as an alternative to ********************** programs.

      Do not use! They will just keep sending emails saying they are missing infoeven after calling the hospital 4 times on a 3 way call getting the info they need. Just a FYI tooI called them BEFORE going to the hospital to make sure it was ok to use that particular hospital. Sad to call them a Christian organization.

Medi-Share's member-voted guidelines require providers to submit medical charges on industry-standardized medical billing forms, which are a CMS ************************** a UB04 form for a facility. When these completed industry forms are submitted, the charges can be processed relatively quickly. Without these forms, bill processing can be delayed considerably, as it then becomes a manual process rather than an automated one.
