      As a benefit from my **** ***** ***** Executive ******** ******** credit card, I submitted trip delay/cancelation reimbursement request to ******** ****** (Assurant) on June 6, 2024 and claim number ********* This is for reimbursement of my hotel stay due to ******** ******** cancelling my trip on May 29, 2024 (date of loss) and rescheduled me on a flight for May 30, 2024. I provided the required documentation multiple times to ******** ****** on June 6, June 13, and June 24. The documentation included my 1) Flight Cancelation Notice Email 2) Rebooked itinerary including my new boarding pass that was issued showing date, time, and flight number 3) original flight itinerary confirmation before AA canceled my return flight 4) hotel bill of out of pocket cost to be reimbursed. I've sent the above required information and documents through their online claims portal as well to their claims email. After each submission, they have come back to me saying I'm missing the required documents that include 1) Delay/Cancelation Notice from Carrier 2) Rebooked itinerary. I've sent those multiple times and attached them here for your record. They are unwilling to move my claim forward for reimbursement stating I haven't provided those documents which is false. I've included both documents below that they continually request and deny.

      I bought a kitchen-aid gas stove from ****** on 7/03/22. I also bought the three year extended warranty. I've had several problems with the stove. First, the stove doesn't temp right. It heats to 50 degrees less than what I set it to. If I want 350 degrees, it heats to 300. Set it to 450, it heats to 400. Had service technician out 4 times replacing parts. Now a tech out again because it STILL doesn't temp right but now, it's not calibrated right and burning gas incorrectly. Resulting is very dangerous soot being emitted throughout my house. My wife is a cardiac patient and soot is very dangerous to her health. While trying to fix these issues, it turns out that the convection fan has NEVER worked at all. After all these issues, assurant refuses to replace my stove. Every time I call assurant, they transfer me to ****** care. ****** says assurant has to decide what can be done. All I get is the runaround. What good is the protection plan if nobody will rectify the issue?

      Hello, I bought a ****** washing machine from Lowe's and purchased the extended protection plan through Assurant. The first repair company that came was a scam and would not return phone calls or answer the phone. They filed an incorrect report. I finally was able to get in contact with someone from Assurant who advised to open a new claim, which I did with a new company. This repair person was honest and on time and advised this is a common issue with the washer where the glass lid completely comes off. He input the claim that a new lid was needed and Assurant STILL DENIED the claim. After going in circles to try and find someone to talk to, all they could say was that it was "damaged". It's DEFECTIVE! The washer cannot be turned on with no lid! The representative insisted on opening ANOTHER claim! This is ridiculous. Assurant is not helpful and gives you the runaround! They don't want to help, they just want to deny claims and keep saying the word "damaged". They have no other thing to say or reason other than "damaged".

      I purchased an Appliance Protection/Warranty plan for my dryer. The dryer has been burning out parts since October 2023. Assurant has sent repairmen to my home at least 5 times and the heating element and sensors keep burning out. Waiting for parts and labor has resulted in months of having to go to a laundromat which I don’t have time or money to do. This has created more work and a hardship for my family. The service providers (per ****** who was on the phone with Alex), admitted to installing aftermarket parts. They reported having new factory parts in 2 weeks ago and stated they could come the following Saturday as I stated I would be out of the country the following week and needed my dryer to prepare for my trip. They scheduled me for the following Wednesday (while out of country). I called them from Mexico and stated again I wasn’t home, but that my daughter could be there Saturday. On Saturday I received a message that they would be here this coming Friday. I commute to work and have no more time to play games. I have called Assurant throughout this whole time and they documented my requests and said they’ll contact **** Appliance Repair directly to rectify the situation. Assurant is refusing also to purchase me a new dryer. ***** (who I purchased the dryer and insurance from) says after 3 repairs (and 5 or six visits), Assurant should buy me a new dryer. This dryer according to the facts AND the repair company is not reliable.

      Claim Number: ******** On April 12th 2024 I filed a claim with Assurant to get my phone screen replaced. I was given a list of places I could take my phone to get it repaired and I selected one and payed the deductible. After I got my phone back I started having a issues with it such as the phone shutting off everytime I would set it down or if anything would bump against it gently and a shorter battery life. Then I noticed the back of the phone wasn't glued on properly and my SIM card try wouldn't go in all the way. Assurant told me to bring the phone back to the location that did the repair and when I did they managed to fix the issue of the phone turning off but the battery life was still shorter and shortly after that my phone started saying No SIM and will not make calls or send texts. When I spoke to customer service about these issues on May 8th, they told me they were going to send me a new phone, and I was told I would not have to pay another deductible because these issues were caused by the company that did the repair. They said I had to wait 3 business days for them to process the request and they would reach out to me. 5 business days later I reach out to them to check on the claim and the customer service agent was apologetic and said she was going to start the process over to try to speed things up, and to give them another 3 business days. 4 business days after that I reached out again and made it clear to them that I need my phone to work and I can not do my job without a phone so I was willing to pay the deductible just to get the new phone sent to me. I do not think I should have paid that deductible but I did what I had to do because I need a phone. I would like a refund of the $***** I paid because I was told i would not have to pay that from the beginning.

      I have a service contract with Assurant service Protection Advantage for my ******** Gas Dryer. I contacted them for a service call and they subcontract out to *** factory Services. *** has cancelled numerous appointments without notification. Assurant would not find a different agency to complete my service call. I had to call a private company and pay out of pocket for my dryer repair. I am seeking refund for the $** deductible, the repair of $119.76 and $380.34 which is whar my service contract cost. I also want consumers to know that both Assurant and *** are scam artists with the poorest customer service.

      I invested in an extended warranty to ensure protection for my family and our belongings. Recently, I discovered severe damage to the furniture, posing a potential hazard to our safety.       May 2 2024 I filed a claim for a replacement phone received the phone sent my old device back so today may 17th 2024 I received an email saying i didn’t return my phone and I talked to a rep and they say they received the box but no phone so I look on to the internet for similar issues and so many others are being scammed the same way by this company for years now they say the will charge me for a device I kno they received.

      Company sent 2 devices, due to lack of competence. I sent both phones back and they are charging me for the broken phone. Supervisor after supervisor, they all tell me that they will call back, 1 week later I need to follow up, and usually have to start at zero and explain once more. Right now, T-Mobile is requesting collections to be on my account. All without proof that asurion is telling the truth. I'm the pictures, you see BOTH IMIEI are the same in both shipments FROM DIFFERENT DATES. So basically they have their system mixed up.

      I filed a claim with ******** and Assurant for a warranty replacement. I used the UPS Return Label provided to return the defective device. Per the UPS Tracking Number the device was delivered on 25-Mar 2024 to Forth Worth, TX return facility. On 27-Apr 2024 I received a text claiming that they hadn't received the device and that I would be charged for said device. I called to open a case with ******** because the device tracking stated that it was in fact delivered. I then received my bill charging me $******* for the non-returned device. On 3-May 2024, I spend a total of 2 hours on the phone with ********, Assurant and UPS regarding the matter. Assurant claims that the warranty replacement was not through them and that they would not file the claim. ******** claims that I must file the claim with UPS. UPS was on the line and stated that since the return label was created by Assurant/********, that they would need to file the claim. UPS asked the ******** representative for the address and phone number of the return warehouse, but ******** could not provide the phone number. UPS continued to state that they could not file the claim without a phone number to work with and investigate. While on this 3-way call, ******** said that since UPS refuses to file a claim without a phone number, that I would be stuck with the bill. UPS rep stated to the ******** rep that they are why the claim cannot be filed because they won't provide the number. This continued on to not resolve. ******** then offered to split the cost of the lost device, but I am not paying $*** nor $**** for a device that I returned and am not using. I have found many forums on ********s website from many customers that have experienced this same issue in the last two years of returning a device only for ******** to claim that they received an empty box. I will be contacting an attorney and hoping to find a class action lawsuit against ******** and Assurant.
