      This is a scam of a company. At any hotel you would have to cancel up to 48 hours before your stay, with a refund. I booked a trip for November 2024, as an exchange and upgrade (nearly $600 in fees). We changed our minds about the accommodations and dates. I called and emailed customer service explaining the situation. A refund is only an option for 24 hours after booking. What?!? Not only am I not receiving any services, I am Losing the money paid. Awful policy. So disappointed. Stay away from business with II.

      Ive been a Gold member since 2013, every time I call or try to book a vacation, its not available. Luckily I booked one in ***** in 2021and when I was to check in, it was a different view from the pictures, D rated for the money I was spending. After calling for hours from 4-7 pm, speaking to rude customers service, family stranded and no place to go, luckily around 11 pm a lady named **** helped my family out during a stressful situation. We had to relocate to ********* and commute daily to *****, but she was heaven sent. Follow up on the following day (Saturday), the customer service was worst than the day before. After filling complaints and years later, still havent heard back from them. After my expiration, I will definitely reach out to others for better services than wasting money. No inventory!

      I have been a member of Interval International since 1988. I have been able to deposit my week in ***** and exchange for many different resorts over the past *********************************************************************************** 30 different resorts over a 2 1/2 month time period for two years ! I am not sure what has happened but this is a very different company. It is very hard to believe that not one owner has deposited any of the units I have requested. My home unit deposit is about to expire and I haven't been able to find a place to go. This is a very different business. I have tried to call and either no one answers or it is a busy signal? Technical difficulties?

      The real size of the unit in ************************* was misrepresented on II website - One bedroom Unit turned out to be a Studio with kitchenette. Direct upgrade with the Resort to a required one bedroom unit more than doubled my expense. **************** of II is not concerned with my trouble which happened on a weekend, when no assistance could be gained from Interval itself. Looks like Interval International officials are not responsible for the information published on their website.

      We purchased Interval International through our ******* *** Club Vacations ownership. This companies website needs a major overhaul (website is not user friendly and very hard to navigate), including the management and people in the tech support area. I tried to book a hotel stay using our points, I even called the hotel exchange representatives more than once, and went through the whole prolonged booking information and every time their website gave us an "Error Detected" message. It clearly states in that message "Please note that our web team has been notified concerning this error". After many attempts and over weeks to allow for web team to address the issue. I found a better place, which is more reasonably priced on Air BnB. The other item, that is frustrating are the points versus the fees paid. Certain locations/bookings when using points from lowest amount to highest would only change the nightly amount a minimal amount. If a person would purchase those points today, the cost would be $.45 per point ($.45 x 100,00 = $45,000). Per booking also has booking fees, and the resorts/locations also have their own check in fees. I would say that Interval International is boarder line a time share scam!

      Interval Resort Inventory List, exchanges misleading: Been a member since 2014 when we bought time shares on Grand Cayman. Have paid thousands to Interval to deposit Cayman weeks we can't use in the year (plus covid years when island was closed). I have 2 weeks expiring soon & explored the directory, which lists about 4-5 NYC properties (hotels but listed in their Resort Directory). I searched all NYC places for a full year - not one availability. In recent years, including this one, I put exchange requests in 12 months before trips and have never gotten the exchange (which cost me thousands more). So in 11+ months, I'm to believe not one owner in any property where I had to request an exchange, gave up their week? Every owner made it to their place? I find that hard to believe since I got on the list as soon as allowed; what is easier to believe is Interval lists many resorts in their inventory so people purchase plans but there really isn't any availability. Many other listed resorts say "limited exchange, getaways available" (we pay for getaways). Most places in the ********* require a meal plan so I would pay maintenance on my Cayman week, pay Interval (membership) to hold my week, pay another $200+ to Interval to use MY week elsewhere, then pay the resort in advance for the meal plan. I've had years of Platinum membership, right now I have Gold. Platinum gets 5 free guest certs per year, I've never used one. Today, I asked if an exception could be made for me to use one now (another $79 to Interval) since I only went down to Gold in October. I got a firm no. So, to not pay Interval a "guest" fee when the person going is part of the family LLC that owns the time shares, Interval wants me to list every owner. Then the person I spoke to actually offered me 5 yrs Platinum for $500+!! Look at the last name Interval & please stop nickel & diming us. Maybe consider loyalty when customers ask for help.

      I have held and maintained the basic Interval International membership from 2002 through July 2, 2023. On October 13, 2021, I purchased a 5-year upgrade to the Interval Platinum membership which expires on October 13, 2026. Therefore, I have held both basic and platinum memberships through July 2, 2023. On Friday, April 26, 2024, I attempted to purchase a getaway online using my Interval Platinum membership and was not allowed to buy the getaway because the basic membership had expired. Interval International denied my right to purchase the getaway and would not honor my membership. After talking with two vacation specialists and their supervisor by telephone, I was told by each that I must pay for the basic membership before purchasing a getaway. I have been deceived because it was never explained to me when I upgraded my membership that I must hold both basic and Platinum memberships. On Friday, April 26, 2024, I asked for a written copy of this policy and they refused to give me a copy. I asked for the contact information for the supervisor and was told that the *** does not have contact information. I am requesting a written copy of the membership rules and a return of my Platinum membership fees because as they stated my membership is not valid.

      Interval International was able to speak with ********************************** on Monday, May 6, 2024, to discuss the concerns mentioned on the Better Business Bureau Customer Review.  ********************** was able to provide and assist with a clearer understanding of how the membership program works for the Interval Membership and Platinum Membership.  ********************* requests the Interval International Terms and Conditions to be sent to her via email, additionally Interval International recommended to visit our website www.intervalworld.com for the complete Terms and Conditions.  Interval International was able to address her concerns, offer a recommendation to resolve the matter and on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, send the email with the Terms and Conditions.

      Three calls, three different answers.My parents are members, I was able to log in to their account two weeks ago and called the office and ask about parents available week this year and transfer fee which was 79 dollars and account was in good standing. (I know it was as it had been used recently by another family member), I tried to book this week with my spouse and password and account no longer working, called again, they claim account was inactive since 8/22 and I would need to pay 99 on top of the 79. Person on the phone was rude as clearly this is a commissioned position. Stated he would transfer me, but actually disconnected me, called back with a different equally non responsive person and it's now 79+99+329 for the week. He told me to get a piece of paper and a pencil so that I could keep my facts straight. Not worth my time or money getting into this web, my parents membership has expired, I will not recommend they renew.

      Interval International attempted to contact *********************** on various occasions via telephone calls and emails 4/29/2024, 5/6/2024, 5/7/2024 and 5/8/2024 to review and address the concerns mentioned on the Better Business Bureau Review.  ************** was given access to the account as administrator, and he is not the owner of the account.  On 5/8/*************************** tried to speak with ************** to explain how our services function.  However, while informing that the call could be monitored or recorded, ************** decided to end the call as he did not want to be recorded.  Interval Internationals Terms and Conditions page 3 section 7(n) provides the following:  To the extent allowed by applicable law, phone conversations between Individual Members and II employees or representatives may be recorded and/or monitored.

      I paid extra for * trade plus. with II. All of a sudden their * trade rules have changed. You must trade it 14 days prior to the check in date of the week you booked. I was not informed of this when just 2 months ago I was able to successfully * trade a unit within 5 days of the check in date. If I want to be able to change the week I need to pay them another 225. exchange fee. Losing the exchange fee and the * trade fee I originally paid. I have spoken to a customer service rep and also received an email reply.

      My name is ***** Day My membership for interval international is ******* On the 29th I purchased a 2-bedroom at the towns at kings castle on August 1-8. The Prices were 727 regular 702 gold. They also had a flash sale ***** off. I am a gold member but was charged regularly member prices. Was charged 727 minus ***** = 677. 677 + ******= ****** I was supposed to be charged gold prices. What the Purpose of buying gold if you are still being charged regularly.My confirmation #******** I called to speak to someone about it and they told me that I am lucky because it was higher. I informed them of the prices on the website which charged me more and they Quote to me price that are higher then what I saw . I ******** was to make me feel lucky. I asked to speak to a supervisor and another person got on the phone and he told me it will take days for a supervisor to talk to me. He also said The Prices won't change. I told him that the prices they are telling me isn't what's on the website. I called again and got another person who saw the price I saw. He saw it was a Distripancy so he went to get assistance from his co-workers. He was informed not to help me. He was Apologetic. His name is **** but he did recognize the Discrepancies. I paid to get the gold prices but got less and was disrespected. It was clear that they weren't going to fix or look at the problem. We bothered me most was they knew it was wrong and decided to robbled me and called it being Courteous. Their customers service needs more training. I have been a member since 1998 I know how to use this website. I have gone on several trips and never had such poor service. I feel that they robbled and told me to appreciate it andbegladit wasn't more .I was over charged .

      Interval International has contacted Ms. ***** *** on various occasions (via telephone calls 4/4/2024 and 4/8/2024, voice messages 4/3/2024 and 4/8/2024, and emails 4/8/2024 and 4/10/2024).  Ms. **** concerns were reviewed with her, and she was also provided website navigation to where online can locate certain details; also,recommendation of screenshots and print screens were provided during the online booking workflow.  Ms. *** submitted via email various screenshot attachments which required further review.  Interval International tried to contact Ms. *** back the same day, but we were only able to leave a message and send an email.  Ms. *** later sent an email response informing that she is presently away for a couple of weeks without telephone communication.  Interval International has replied to Ms. **** email to please contact ** upon her return for the resolution.
