I called and they wanted $200 bc they had the wrong spelling of my sons name. Then they said its the wrong birthday . They switched me to three different people all who I could not understand. They said my som wouldnt be able to board unless I gave them $200. I said I wanted to speak with someone else and they wouldnt switch me. I came on this site to see if this company was a scam and saw all these emails.Lookbyfare.com

I had the most trouble experience with lookbyfare cruise. These people said they were refunding me my money and I never got it yet. They keep giving me the run around. I will never book through them again. I advise no one too!Lookbyfare.com

1 starI booked my flight via **********. It has been nothing but a run around and stress. I book my flights and received a confirmation email. They immediately called and said I could not have my flights, trying to make me leave from another airport 2 hours away. After saying I would not change my flights he said fine you can have the flights you chose. I have since then called not once, twice or even three times but FOUR times. 5 days ago I was told to allow ***** hours for my tickets to be emailed to me. I have also emailed support three times. Yesterday they said they would email them shortly. Still not tickets. Called again this morning- now I need to allow three more days. These tickets and pre luggage check in are an anniversary gift in which we are supposed to leave in three weeks. STILL NO TICKETS $1800 for No tickets and a TON OF ********* NOT USE LOOKBYFARE!!! The company charged me $410 for checked bagged and claimed I had to pay multiple fees because of connecting flights, and extra because its an international flight two and from. I called AirCanada and they told me they dont see checked bags in my booking and stated that they dont accept checked baggage payments until the day of. I dont travel often so I dont know these things. This is my first international flight on my own. This is a lot of money wasted.Lookbyfare.com

This is a scam company that masked the ***************** customer service toll free line. They even verified they were the Executive Platinum line. I was asking to cancel a passenger and said I had to pay $249 to get my travel credit. I started suspecting fishing when they wanted me to click on a link sent by lookbyfare.com. The email said that I would not get my flight credit without clicking the link. They went so far to tell me to ignore emails from *****************. They then started calling me back saying the same script, trying to charge my credit card. I saved emails and voicemails, reported them to AA, my credit card and ****** as a scammer. Luckily they didnt get me to click but they now have credit card info. Stay away!!Lookbyfare.com

Scam. Booked JetBlue nonstop flight and got bait and switched to a United layover flight. **************** is awful. Filing dispute with credit card company because they refuse to fix this error and booking directly through jet blue to get the flights we paid for instead of these layover substitutions.Lookbyfare.com

1 starAbsolutely terrible. You enter your departure and arrival city and the website changes it to be the closest one with a bunch of small print - it SHOULD BE A BANNER SAYING CHANGED AIRPORT. I noticed this less than 72 hours later and "there is nothing we can do to change the flight" until, you speak with the manager, who CAN change the flight for an additional fee of $197 (the manager is also very quick to point out that $197 is not $200). So they CAN change it. They won't. Unless you pay more money. What an absolute scam. Find somewhere else to spend your money. The one star is for signing their name at the top of the page. Absolute garbage.
