Flew down to buy a car unseen besides video and pics with plans to drive back. I bought a car from them on January 31 **** car broke down within 45 minutes, needing a new starter and crank position sensor. They took care of that then once getting back on the highway, I noticed some grinding in the rear end and come to find out the vehicle, needs new brakes and rotors. Now this is all within the 500 miles that they say they will fix it or I could return it. The manager told me that it was general wear and tear. They are not responsible for it, the fact is it was not ready to be driven off of the lot. Picture below will show just how bad these rotors were! I will be adding to this review once my mechanics have it taken apart and I have more photos. The manager hung up on me when I said this needed to be fixed or I would be contacting legal representation.

Florida Fine Cars sells vehicles "AS IS" and has maintained communication with ****************. We've provided assistance with parts and repairs at no cost to him, and we've also provided reimbursement for his one-day hotel stay. Importantly, we were not informed about these issues during the test drive or when the customer drove from ***** to *************** for repairs. The customer reached out to ** once he reached ************. Out of good faith, Florida Fine Cars is willing to provide partial reimbursement to the customer.

I am rejecting this response because: the first $340 of from me breaking down 45 minutes north and your shop not having vehicle fixed before closing and putting me into a hotel. The other $300 isnt a third of what new breaks cost me couple hundred miles north more. Again this was within 500 miles and 3 days period, all this happened knowing I was flying into town to drive a vehicle back that was not road ready.

It is an auto dealership. They gave me a financial application to complete. Now non stop checking my credit, without my permission. Playing games. Hanging up the phone. The person answering the phone cannot pronounce his name and keeps hanging up the phone. This business is not legit. Horrible attitude towards customers. They cannot speak proper english. It is not clear what they say. Horrendous experience. They have trashed my credit.

      Business response

      01/24/2024

Despite the customer completing an online credit application, Florida Fine Cars chose not to submit it to the lender on their behalf. This decision was based on the need for additional information before proceeding with the transaction. It's crucial to note that Florida Fine Cars did not conduct any hard credit pulls during this process.

2015 Buick Verano was purchased on 9/14/2023 for $17084.94. I made a $500.00 cash deposit and return on 09/15/23 and tendered a Cashier's Check in the amount of $16584.94 to complete the transaction. The Dealer collected sales tax of $1061.94 and Tag and Title fee of $328.00 with the knowledge the Vehicle would be registered and titled in ************. I tried explaining that their Tax and tag charges were excessive as ************ Taxes, tag and Registration fees are less than Florida. After two Months and three Temporary Tags, I finally recieved the registration and tag for the vehicle on 11/14/23. Accompanying document list sales taxes paid $887.88 and Tags and Title paid $117.00. Balance that should be refunded is $395. 06.

      Complaint: 20971262

I am rejecting this response because: The dealer last response was exactly my point. They do not know the exact fees charged by ************ DMV for registration, title and taxes, thats why they estimated the taxes at $1061.94 and title plus tag $$328.00. I told them at time of purchase that ************ taxes were 6% and registration and title of a vehicle was less than Florida and that their estimate was high. Now that the Vehicle registration, taxes and title came in $395.06 less than their estimate they want to keep the balance. They already charged $897.00 for electronic filing now they are seeking an additional $290 + for filing fees . Funny how they don't know what it cost for registration, title and taxes for a Vehicle in **. but that was a very good estimate according to their explaination.

In August of 2023 I purchased a 2018 ***** truck from Florida fine cars *****. I was sold and signed paperwork for an extend bumper to bumper warranty. 6 thousand miles later truck was giving major problems. I took the vehicle to the Chevrolet dealer and was told my warranty was totally different than the one I have signed paperwork on. The warranty company denied rental car, and 50 percent of parts and labor. I called the dealer and was told it is what it is. No assistance no offers to help. A transmission doesnt just go out in that short amount of time this is a problem that was covered up.

      Business response

      11/30/2023

Florida Fine Cars has been in contact with ************** to address concerns about the warranty. It's important to note that Premier Essential, the warranty company involved, operates independently from Florida Fine Cars, and their policies are beyond our control. We extended an offer to inspect the vehicle and potentially offer a more economical repair solution without any deductible. However, at that point, the customer had already finalized an open claim with the Chevrolet dealership. For future reference, we encourage customers to reach out to Florida Fine Cars for assistance regarding warranty matters. We're more than willing to help and provide support in any way we can regarding warranty-related issues.

why would i pay them to fix my car when they sold it to me with a bad transmission. Florida SCAM cars are just trying to take more money out of a hard working customer. They should adjust the price of the car or give me my money back. I have video of the accident that shows it was a minor accident. That had nothing to do with the transmission. I can prove they sold me a car with a bad transmission, but they cant prove they didn't sell me a car with  a bad transission. SCAMMERS.

I submitted an inquiry regarding a Ram ****. When I first spoke with one of the salesmen, I explained what I wanted and asked if I could put some money down for them to hold the truck until I got there the following week. I was told that I needed $9,000 down. I was contacted a few days later, and was told that I could put $2,000 down to hold it, I received a letter from ********** stating that they could not extend me credit for a car that I hadn't inquired about, so I phoned the sales person and explained to her that I couldn't do business with people that fraudulently used my personal information. We have been texting back and forth for the past few days, she keep trying to convince me that they refunded the money, but the haven't, otherwise it would have shown back on the credit card that was used. All I want is the return of my money, period.

A 2016 **** Mustang Gt Convertible (*****************) was purchased on-line from Florida Fine Cars, *** on 7/15/23. The car was delivered via car carrier on 7/26/2023. The condition of the car is not as represented in the sales description and online photos that where provided online via CarGurus website. Addition photos of this car was requested by myself but never received. I chose to accelerate the purchase of this car as it was supposed to be a birthday gift for my wife, 7/26/2023. This car has several undisclosed modifications. This car also has undisclosed body damage which was not visible in the online photos provided. The dealership claimed there was no existing body damage when I questioned damage that was reported via CarFax.I have submitted pictures of these complaints to the selling dealership and have not been acknowledged. The engine has computer and exhaust modification that I believe render the car unable to pass emissions test.I have asked the selling dealership to return this car. I have gone as far as to volunteer an offer to pay $700 in return shipping (the amount I paid to receive) with no response.I feel the dealership has misrepresented this car and sold it under fraudulent conditions. I am seeking to have this car returned to Florida Fine Cars, Inc., cancellation of the purchase contract, cancellation of the financial contract and return of all taxes and fees paid under the contract terms.

The needed repairs to the front end are costing me $2800 (friends and family price).  I am not happy that Florida Fine Cars sold this online without full disclosure of the damages that they knew about but chose to hide.  One thousand dollars was offered to me to keep the car which I took before knowing the extent of the damage.  I feel Florida Fine Cars took me financially then knowingly blamed me for buying the car "as is" with know way for the online buyer (me) to exam the car before being made to feel confident in the condition of the car by the sales staff.  Text and email communication to the sales department said the car has minor damage (scratches and small dents) not complete destruction of the front bumper and skirt.  Florida Fine Cars should be accountable for repairs to this car but I'm pretty sure they claim they have no responsibility.  They are obviously not a reputable business.  Shame on Florida Fine Cars.
