I had my home built and took possession 9 December 2021. JR Peaden Septic Service installed my septic system. This home is 2630 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 3 bath home which should accommodate 6 to 8 people living in it and not have to have the septic pumped any earlier than 3-5 years; there are only two people living in this home. Two years and three months after closing, I (and several others in the subdivision) had to have my septic pumped. I requested a report from Peaden detailing what was found as a result of the pump on the day of the pump and for several weeks following, but never received it. On 15 March 2024, I hand delivered a letter of request to Peaden, specifically Jamie Peaden, to provide me with ALL documents and documentation regarding any service(s) provided for this specific property. I requested that this information be provided to me NLT COB 22 March 2024, and Jamie Peaden agreed (verbally) to accommodate me. I explained to her that it appears there is something wrong with my system, and I desired to have as much information as possible to review and analyze, should any further action become necessary. As of this date, 27 March 2024, I have received no response from JR Peaden Septic Services. Desired resolution: Provide requested documentation as soon as possible.

We have had a death in the office which has increase my work load and has made work life hard at the moment.

The few notes I have on this account is as follows...

Beginning of Feb 2024 - Mr ***** called said he was experiencing issues (slow flush & potential back up); we sent tech out to look for issues.  We checked drain line area and did not find any issues with drain lines at that time.  We suggested that they get the tank pumped. This service was free of charge.

Feb 21, 2024 - we pumped the tank and found that the sludge / build up of solids in the tank was very thick approx 1/3 of the tank.  We believe this is what the issue was.  We suggested for them to add a bacteria such as Rid X.  This will help brake down the solids in the tank over time. Mr ***** paid for this service.

March 9, 2024 - Robert **** with **** Septic Permitting LLC was hired by Mr ***** to check the system for issues.  Mr **** did not find any problems with the system at that time.  I do not have the report on this service.  Mr **** called me and gave me the report verbally.  Mr ***** paid **** for this service.

March 11, 2024 - Mr ***** called saying he had a wet spot in the yard so I sent a tech out again March 12, 2024 and they found that the wet hole was not in the septic system area so it was not septic related.  This was free of charge.

March 15, 2024 - Mr. ***** came in a gave me a letter and requested I sign it.  I told him I would review it and get back to him.  I asked if he was having any issues and he stated no but he wanted to be prepared for when he does. This same day my employee and dear friend passed away that afternoon.

Work life has been hard and very busy for me since the passing of Nicole.  After carefully reviewing the letter and giving it some thought, I have decided not to sign the letter and to not respond.  I feel he is putting together a lawsuit case and feel it's in my best interest to not respond.

    Complaint: 21497434

I am rejecting this response because:

I originally asked for, and continue to ask for any an all documentation in the possession of JR Peaden Septic Services, Inc. (the Company) as it pertains to my property under any and all addresses.  Please see attached for letter delivered to Jamie Peaden on 15 March 2024 requesting same.  I do offer my condolences for the recent loss, but I do need to gather as much information as possible in order to make an informed decision concerning my system.  I would like the decision that I make be the decision that will allow me a worry-free septic system going forward.  Please provide the documents requested.

    Sincerely,

    David E. *****
