My father was taken to this Hospital for major fall that caused TBI (Tramatic Brain Injury). The fall caused a brain hemorrhage (bleeding). From that moment on even thru tonight my father has been mis-diagnosed, not given MRI as requested many times, especially for bleeding brain, he was not given IV, not fed much, never given water to where his mouth and lips were so dry is was aweful. They never hardly changed his soiled sheets for up to 10 hours at times after we continually asked. He was there for 10 days and they would never help him to bathroom or clean his bed because they wouldnt help him. His blood pressure was at deadly levels because they were not giving him IV after we requested for days. He was verbally abused. Nurse **** was so mean I have her on recordings lying to us straight thru her teeth. Risk Manager ***** never returned my calls after I tried getting my father help who was falling out of bed. They hid his phone and nurse call button. Put him on random orthopedic floor far away from everyone. List goes on and on. They even gave us paperwork of different patient and didnt realize until we told them. Thats HIPPA violation that we caught and said this isnt my father. He was even told this morning he would be transferred to physical therapy and at 11:30pm,15 hours later still nothing and no communication. I called and they just hang up on me everytime!!! Doctors too!! Overall, he was abused verbally and physically. We documented much of this via video and voice recordings. We have tons of notes of full 10 days We have tons of evidence against them of this abuse. Files are too large to send as we have a plethora of evidence via recordings of the abuse!!!Business response

I went to the ** in May 2023. I got my first bill from the ** on 7/5/2023. I began making payments on this bill on 7/13/2023. I was paying what I could afford to pay every month. On July 13,2023 I paid $11.85, on August 24,2023 I paid $25.00, October 5,2023 I paid $10.00, October 19,2023 I paid $5.00 and November 16,2023 I paid $5.00. I understand these were not huge payments but it was all I could afford and I was making them in good faith trying to show the hospital that I knew I owed the bill and was going to pay it. The next thing I know, without any warning from HCA ******* Ocala Hospital, I got a bill from a collection agency. I am very upset because I was doing my best and this is what happened. If they would have let me know they were going to do this maybe I could have worked something out with them. I found this.."Can medical bills go to collections in *******? Yes, medical bills can go to collections in ******* if they are not paid within the five-year statute of limitations. If the debt is not paid within this period, creditors can take legal action against you for non-payment."....It was only 2 months from the date of service until I started paying on the bill and I would have had it paid off well before the 5 year statute of limitations.
