    Gave away my rental with zero notification after my flight was delayed. The counter staff and manager were terrible to deal with and very short. I confirmed with their manager that I wasnt going to be charged anything. We then had to pack all 12 of us (including small children, strollers, and luggage) in a shuttle back to the airport to find another rental company. 13 days later, they randomly charged my card $167 with no authorization or explanation of the charge. Had to call several times, dispute with my credit card provider, and sent 6 emails before they finally refunded.

    I have had a horrible experience. Starting from them giving me the wrong area where to be picked up. The driver was rude. Upon getting to Green Motion, the lady tried to see me the ***** a day for tolls, which I said no. She explained we would pay for the tolls, which is normal like Hertz, Alamo etc... Also tried giving us a smaller car then what we paid for, I had to pull out my reservation. The car smelled, not cleaned very well. When we got home I saw they billed us for $222.18 for toll violations, my credit card was on file there were NO violations, our tolls were $14.50. I called to try and speak with someone. I asked more than 10 times to speak to a supervisor, the *** on the phone ignored my requests. I finally demanded and she explained that there was no one there and someone would call me back. No one has called me back. I am not sure how this place is still operating. I am happy to pay the $14.50 in tolls but I want a refund for $195.00.

    Mr. ****** We would like to clarify our policy regarding toll usage with our rental vehicles.Please be advised that the use of personal or visitor toll passes is not permitted on our fleet vehicles, as all tolls are automatically linked to our company account. If a renter declines our toll pass service, they must use alternate routes to avoid toll roads.The recent toll charge on your account is valid and was incurred during the rental period. As outlined in Clause #8 of your rental agreement under Violations, renters are responsible for any tolls, parking, red light, or similar violations incurred during the rental, in addition to a $39.00 administrative fee for each violation. In accordance with this clause, your credit or debit card on file was charged directly, as per our standard policy.

    I got to the desk and they would not accept my insurance, which has never happened to me before ever. It is **************. I had to fight like h*** to get my money back. They denied me service and refused a refund. Thank you for ****************, because they got my money back. They are cheap but the worst.

    ************ ******* location has certain requirements for coverage and the way we verify coverages at the rental desk via Axle app. If a client does not meet the criteria we have to offer alternative options like our coverages so the client can rent from us, as we do not rent vehicles without coverage.

    This is a "buyer beware" type company. Everything went fine until I found they hit me with over $200 of hidden charges. They refused to discuss the charges with me.

Additionally, this information is outlined in Clause #8 of your rental agreement, as well as in the decline waiver you signed and displayed on the TVs in the lobby.

    Rented car on march 26, 2025 through April 2, 2025. Received a bill where they charge 39 dollars per toll that we already paid. 156 dollars they added in fees. . The tolls were $9..24 in total yet green motion charged 39 dollars per toll. This was a scam and deceptive. We ended up paying 175 dollars. They offered us 20 dollars a day to cover tolls, however, we only paid 9.24 in tolls. Rip off either way since 20 dollars per day for 7 days amounted to ****** dollars.

    Dear ***** You seem confused we sell the toll pass at ***** per day plus applicable taxes for unlimited use. If we receive a charge for unpaid tolls we consider them violations and the client pays ***** adm *** per each unpaid toll plus the amount of the toll used.     What is confusing is that we paid the tolls. We went through the toll booth where we pay in cash the tolls which was four in total. The representative did not say ***** per day but ***** dollars per day which we opted out of.. Again we pay the four tolls in cash. The only violation is that green motion is deceptive and will not honor the contract. How could you received unpaid charges when we pay the tolls accordingly. Furthermore the representative said we could pay the tolls but would have to wait in the cash toll line which was ok with us. Paid 2 tolls when we left ******* and 2 when we returned. That was the only tolls we had4 in total for 9.24. ***** a day was more than the four tolls. We couldnt buy just one day but a whole week.

    By far the WORST place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Extremely unprofessional, very dirty ***************** and beyond shady business. Every aspect of this place is a complete fail and lie. Save yourself the trouble and do not go there.

    I wish I could give zero stars, as we were never able to pickup the rental we had reserved due to the complete incompetence of this company. We reserved a rental car several weeks in advance and upon arrival at the ***************, the shuttle driver told us they had no cars to rent. He told us to call the rental car office and left us stranded on the curb. We called the Green Motion **************** number and they confirmed they had no cars to rent, even though we had a reservation. We checked our credit card statement and they had already charged us the full amount, even though they did not rent us a car. We asked customer service for a refund, and they refused to issue it, saying we needed to contact the third-party company that we booked through, *******. We filed a claim with *******, who again reached out to Green Motion, but could also not receive a response, so they told us there wasnt anything they could do about issuing a refund. This company appears to be a scam. Either that or they are completely unconcerned with human decency. It appears to be impossible to get a refund, even though they never rented us a car through no fault of our own.

    Worst car rental experience. They use an app called axle to verify car insurance which we were not informed about. Because their specific app did not recognize our active car insurance we were told we had to purchase their insurance for $29.99 per day. We should them our active insurance paperwork and the 1800 customer service number they could have used to verify but they stated they could not do that. We were traveling with 3 kids and tired from our trip so we unfortunately had to pay triple the price for the car rental. I have never had any problem with any car rental place and our car insurance. What a rip off.

    0/10 Stars!! Believe all of the negative reviews on this place they are completely true. Complete rip off based on false advertising. They ***** you for everything and practically force you to purchase their car insurance and toll package due to extremely strict rules. I reserved an economy car for 4 days. Prepaid $83 and was assured nothing was due at pickup. My full coverage USAA insurance transfers automatically to any rental cars. Green Motion has extremely high limits of coverage, in excess of what is required by law and requires you to have higher limits set for a maximum of 3 months. So even though I could change coverages right then and there because I didnt have it for 3 months I was required to purchase their $150 insurance package. They also charge you $25 for each toll the you pass through even if you pay the tolls out of your own pocket, which again, forced me to purchase their toll package due to their unreasonable rules. The car I was given needed service and the change oil light was on and battery in the key fob also had a low battery all weekend long. They have a shuttle that will pick you up from the airport that runs every blue moon and their customer service is terrible. The agent was too smug when he told me I had to add on the insurance and toll package because, wow we were already there and where the h*** else where we going to go after the shuttle took 20 minutes getting us there. Do yourself a favor and stick with the more well known rental car companies

    VERY SHADY. The staff is working miracles for their commission. Trying hard to sell their insurance In my case I was offered a car that had scratches all over. Including one across the whole side. On the inspection list none of that was marked initially. I had to do a video with the sales person, who got visually frustrated, while doing a second walk around. After that, when I was given the keys with the paperwork copies, the inspection list, that we just did, was switched with another one. I ended up with no car, the police was supposedly called on me, and of course how convenient, they do not do refunds. And yeah.I was straight forward verbally insulted, based on the fact where Im from. Pretty much IT IS A SCAM They are after the hefty damage deposit.
