      Id leave 0 stars if I could.?Advent Health and Dr. ******** have forever left me with a negative outlook on healthcare. My dad had open-heart surgery, and in short Dr. ******** killed him. The lack of care shown by both this doctor and the nurses at Advent Health was absolutely ************** I have to go on without my best friend for the rest of my lifemy father was only ************************************************************* Advent Health **************************. Both were negligent.From the inpatient side of things, you couldnt get a nurse to help unless you went looking for one yourself. And when they finally showed up, they acted like you were the problemlike asking them to do their job was some kind of **************** ***, they didnt even have a proper specialist on call to help when things went south after Dr. ********* operation. You always hear about how broken healthcare is, but to experience it firsthand? Just WOW.The behavior of the staff at this facility was *********** advice: Keep looking. Even though Im no longer a fan of surgery after this tragedy, I still believe there are better doctors and facilities out thereones with people who actually care, and who take the time to make sure things are done correctly.Avoid this facility at all costs.

      Not the doctor or provider's fault, but Advent Health billing since switching from Common Spirit has been the bane of my existence. They bill everything incorrectly as a deductible - routine pre-natal care, PT, office visits - when It should be a simple copay procedure and I'm constantly having to call to fix the estimates or the invoices I'm sent. I will never use Advent Health again after my pregnancy ends, and it's unfortunate because the doctor's are wonderful but Advent Health is awful. I have been with this practice for 5 years now, it's only been Advent Health for 1 year, and it's unfortunate that Advent Health's horrible billing practices are driving me to seek new care.

      I would like to leave a review for the Advent Health Orlando billing department one eight eight eight five eight zero two six eight eight the lady on the phone is horrible attitude, no any help and try to create trouble and hard to solve the bill, I want to provide my insurance information , she refuse to contact to do the claim, ask my insurance company call her, my insurance company can not call her. Just. horrible experience!

      I have had several tragic events happen at this hospital they have covered up my injuries from getting attacked and injuries I got from *** this people gave me medication I was allergic to and the nurse wouldn't call a code for a crash team to help me because she said it would to much of a hassle by the ***** of god someone from the pharmacy came to check on me 3 days after they gave me the medication I was allergic to and saw how poor my condition was the pharmacy took me off the medication and documented what they saw the medication was doing to me someone went behind the pharmacy back and deleted everything and they tried to give me the medication I was having trouble breathing I was covered in hives and a number of other symptoms I was bed ridden because of the attack I had got stabbed this people was really trying to kill me in the hospital bed just to cover up crimes if it wasn't for the pharmacy staff I would be dead from anaphylaxis shock end human trafficking ADVENT HEALTH HOSPITAL I WON'T BE SILENT.

      Worst providers. Sent for labs was turned away. Had dental abcsesses and was told to go to walk in somewhere. Would not fill a script for abx. ****. Can't speak to the office you have to talk to a switch board and they relay the message to the drs via text or email who knows. They cant even call the office directly. Worst managed office Ive seen in a while. They take forever to get an answer. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Pts don't want to call a switchboard they want to speak to someone in the office that actually knows what's going on. No one does.They don't deserve 1 star.

      Scheduling is a nightmare. After a hospital visit, you get in pretty quick. After that, you get put on the back burner. Doctor said she wanted to see me back in 3 weeks, no openings for 6 weeks. If you have something urgent going on, even the Doctor in the room is saying you need a liver biopsy and mri (MRCP) done asap and if you were available today to get it done. (But they dont do it at their office, you have to do outpatient hospital services). Sounds urgent, right? when you immediately call to schedule after leaving the doctors office, they cant get you in for several weeks, even though the order is STAT. That is just for the **** Cant even get ahold of the services to schedule the liver biopsy, have to leave a message, still waiting on a call back. Likely will also be several weeks if not months. Cant wait to see how my health will be in several weeks with still no answers, no treatment, because i have to wait forever to get diagnostics even done.

      The care experience at AdventHealth ***************** far surpasses Excellence in Care standards from the initial ** visit throughout months of outpatient care in the **************** 5 star My injuries were incurred during and directly caused by the Hurricane disaster. Charges have been settled through insurance and the balance was determined a couple months later. (completely reasonable by standards) and I began payments the first of the year. With no additional communication, no invoice, no personal contact I have received a threatening Nastygram claiming Advent Health has not received anything from me. This is strongly disputed when I placed a call and my payment was quickly identified.Please don't color my high esteem with ugly predatory threats. 1 star I am a well established provider in *** and have bragged endlessly about my care at AH and have referred patients to AH. I'll see your response before that will continue.I will make monthly payments without allowing AH access to my financial institutions. I will delete all threats I receive.

      Im extremely disappointed with the care I received during my recent visit to the emergency room. Unfortunately, I felt neglected and ignored throughout my stay. My concerns and needs were not taken seriously, and I was not kept informed about my treatment or *********** add to the frustration, obtaining my necessary medication was a struggle. As someone seeking urgent care, it's alarming to encounter such obstacles.The lack of empathy, communication, and attention to my needs was alarming. I hope the hospital takes steps to address these issues and improve patient ******* a disabled veteran with PTSD, bipolar 2, severe anxiety disorder and ADHD

      I am very disappointed with the Advent Health System. I move from another county, Fl to ***********, **. I needed a knee replacement and was told I had to have a referral to an orthopedic surgeon and had to wait 2 months for the appointment. I had my knee replaced on 8/5/24. I needed to become established with a primary care physician. I could not get an appointment to 3.5 months. After surgery and had a bad experience with the PA, who was rude, self centered, uncaring and unknowledgeable (he is no longer with the company). I was having outpatient therapy in september post knee replacement and developed back pain. I was not established with a primary care physician, I did not have anyone to see so I decided to go to a Chiropractor, after therapy was completed in October, 2024, who was wonderful and tried everything possible to relieve my severe pain. I woke up one morning with excruciating pain. I went to Advent Health express care on 10/21/14, and was told I was having a gallbladder attack and needed to go the emergency room. I went to the emergency room and was not impressed with the physician or the staff. The physician never examined me and stood at the end of the bed asking questions. A month previously I had a CAT scan that showed a small kidney stone. I was worked me up for a kidney stone. Nurse was unfeeling, gave me pain medication intravenously and did not work. After CAT scan performed and no kidney stone. My pain subsided instantaneously. The physician did not know why and told me I would be discharged. Pain returned the next day but not as bad. I was able to obtain an MRI of my back. I went to see the primary care physician on 11/27/24. She said I had severe cauda equina and sent me the the *** ER did nothing. Said my problem was not bad. He documented the my pain was well controlled at home-BIG LIE. Now waiting another 10 weeks to see a neurosurgeon. Pain has been horrible. Primary care MD not available until March. No Compassion. Poor treatment.

      My husband required emergency surgery, and just two hours before the procedure was scheduled, we were told we had to pay 30% of our deductible before they would proceed with the necessary treatment. While I was able to work with my doctors office to resolve the issue, its clear that Advent Health has predatory financial policies that prioritize their bottom line over patient care. What would have happened if we couldnt afford to pay anything upfront? It seems they might have let my husband risk losing his sight rather than providing the urgent care he needed. Im deeply concerned that if the emergency services he received aren't billed first and meet our deductible, Ill be left with a significant bill, and theyll pursue aggressive collections. If I had more notice, I would have refused their services and sought care from a more reputable healthcare provider. In an emergency, we are essentially held hostage by our fear for our loved ones well-being.
