Contacted The Ticket Clinic for a seat-belt violation given to me in ***********, ** (first-and-only seat-belt offense) on Memorial Day weekend. Paid the ticket clinic $79.95 for the seat-belt violation to be removed from my record/license. In retrospect, received a letter from the Clerk of Court/*********** to pay $147.00 for a seat-belt ticket of $116.00. What's the point of paying the Ticket Clinic $79.95 to get the ticket dismissed when in retrospect I'm getting a Bill for $147.00 from the court.

I have read the client's complaint and understand her frustration with the court process.  Please remember that when she hired us, EVERYTHING was in writing.  We clearly state that the goal is to try to get all tickets dismissed, but in the event that there is not a complete dismissal we will try to avoid points and/or convictions on a driving record and there may be costs/fines assessed. This is critical as some insurance companies consider non-moving violations as "safety violations" and increase car insurance rates based on convictions.  In this case, we were able to avoid the conviction on her driving record, so the insurance company cannot hold this against her.  In the end, she will probably save considerable money on her insurance. Again, this was all in the written agreement that she signed and I can provide a copy if necessary.  Safety is a huge issue for insurance companies and seatbelt violations are enforced in *******. Luckily, we were able to attend court for her, avoid her missing time from work, avoid her attending and paying for traffic school and avoided the conviction on her driving r4ecord.  All for less than $80!  We have resolved well over 5 million tickets since 1987.  We work hard to try to get the best results and I think that our record speaks for itself.

Feedback from the ticket office is irrelevant, archaic, and poorly written. Apparently, the attorney didn't do his/her job well!!!  It was a simple, seat-belt infraction that was giving to me on memorial-day weekend in my own neighborhood!  The attorney did not act on my best interest otherwise I would not have to pay an additional $147.00. A seat-belt violation is not worth $227; it sounds more like a scam and I am 100% sure other have gone through the same situation. I want a refund!!! otherwise I will persue every means there is to achieve such. I am not satisfied with the outcome!!!

I was in an accident, rear ended, by a police officer. I was the one that got a ticket of course, ‘Too Fast for conditions.’ Obviously, I wasn’t going fast enough to be hit from behind. I hired the ticket ticket. This should have been an easy dismissal. The court kept subpoenaing the officer who wrote the ticket whom, conveniently could not make it both times, and on the second time the court was going to continue my case the ticket clinic changed my plea from Not Guilty to No Contest. If it was about money I would have paid. No one notified me beforehand of any change because I WAS NOT CHANGING MY PLEA. Now, I have to pay for the ticket and I cannot hold the officer who hit me and my 18 month old accountable. They did not do what they said they were going to do. This was an easy case when you’re dealing with the facts. I paid them to fight and they did nothing of the sort. I want an explanation of what happened and a full refund.

      Hello BBB and ****** *****,

On the citation ******* issued in Broward county on 09/21/22, ****** hired us to represent and signed the attached restrainer stating under #3. The client authorizes, THE TICKET CLINIC to represent him/her in this matter, and to either maintain a not guilty plea or enter a no contest plea on the client’s behalf at THE TICKET CLINIC discretion.

We had four different court dates issued by the clerks. 11/09/22 was canceled, 12/21/22 we went to court and plead not guilty and the case was continued, 02/16/2023 was cancelled by the clerk and on 03/02/2023 our attorney went to court for ****** again. We did have to change our plea to get the best results possible as approved and mentioned on the retainer agreement attached. The guilty conviction was withheld and she was issued court fees to pay in the amount of $165 due before May 05,2023.

When it comes to holding the officer accountable for the accident this has to be brought up to her insurance and her insurance is whom decides who is at fault for the accident. The citation and the insurance are separate matters.

When ****** called to hire us, she was explained the following which is also on the retainer; Our nonrefundable fee to represent you is $99.95. We offer a money back guarantee of no points and no school if you have not received any tickets in the past two years. We do not guarantee court fees and you will be responsible for court fees if there are any issued.

We did do as we explained and guaranteed to the client and she did agree on the retainer to us changing our plea if needed.

Please let me know if you need anything else from us.
