      June 3rd, 2024 my husband and I got a phone call from Ascendant Holidays to a free 8days 7 nights hotel stay anywhere in the ************. It was all a scam to get us to go into their office and pushed us to buy their vacation package even though we refused so many times. We attempted to say no many time to the 1st sales person then come the manager. The manager guy pushed harder for us to buy & asked why wouldn't we. They would do anything to make us said yes. Supposedly 2hrs presentation turn into 6.5hrs lecture, we gave in and sign up for the vacation membership package. Realizing the next day we dont feel right about this company and canceled the package right away the next day which is June 4th, 2024 membership ID -*************. A week later which is today June 11th, 2024 I got an email saying I will be charge the monthly fee starting next month for the amount owe $8,149 and the $12,000 credit card they open we didnt even know they apply for us. We give them all our personal information and our SSN. I dont want bad credit score because they didnt cancelled my membership. We went on bbb.org to find the review about this company is all a scam to so many people, how they will use other people info and SSN to open credit card without other permission caught them to have bad credit. I want my information to be deleted from Ascendant Holidays database and cancelled my vacation package correctly. I try to call the company but they said its not longer in service. I dont understand why the government still let them keep scamming more people each days. I want a written proof that they discarded all information/voided the original contract. And that the entire contract is voided and not just the membership? I need WRITTEN confirmation on paper.

      On 5/19/24, I signed up for a vacation membership. After receiving the log in information for their affiliated company RCI on 6/3/24, I realized that the benefits that was spoken of in the presentation were completely misleading. Not to mention the 3 day grace ****** to cancel, you arent even able to view the benefits youre supposedly entitled to. The entire presentation was a complete fraud as the resorts and etc that you are privy to as part of the benefit appear to be no name resorts and hotels in non desirable locations. I have not paid anything as yet and wish to cancel this membership without penalties as I do not intend to use this.

      I Attended a vacation club presentation in Orlando ******* on April 17, 2024. Upon completion of my presentation, I was awarded my gift as well as received a prepaid MasterCard debit card in the amount of $40 to reimburse me for the $40 charge on my credit card used to secure my vacation club reservation sign up. They did not provide the attached paperwork, but only handed me my credit card and told me if I needed a debit pin, I could use the last four digits. I have been unsuccessful at multiple vendors using my come to find out a day after I received it there were two $20 Debit charges from an unidentified business that I cannot locate on the web. I was scammed and my reward debit card was cleaned out. I am seeking $40 to which Im rightfully owed according to promotional guidelines.

      After attending a meeting for the Ascendent Holiday memberships, we were promised a number of free incentives in order for us to sign. We were promised a 5 day 4 night stay at *********, a cruise, trip to *********, and 25 trading power tokens to use for a big trip out of the country. Afte we signed and started asking about our incentives we started getting the run around for 2 of them. The 5 day 4 night we were promised turned into a 3 day and 2 night during the week, and not during the weekend like we promised. When we complained about that, they said they would give us another free voucher but that was never given. Then when we started asking about the 25 trading power gift, we were told to wait 2 weeks after our account was activated to see if it was there. So we did that, and then when we mentioned it again after the two weeks, then they say oh you have to wait until 6 months has passed until you can receive the gifts. I feel like I was lied to and coerced into signing a contract upon false promises. Those gifts are written in our contract and still have not been given to us. Since we were lied to in order to sign the contract, I want this membership terminated immediately. It was very unprofessional, and the lies have me feeling I was scammed.

      I've made numerous attempts to contact Ascendant Holidays via phone and email to request the cancellation of my contract. Initially, my husband and I were enticed by their sales presentation and decided to purchase the package. However, after paying the deposit and waiting to utilize the benefits, we discovered that everything presented was misleading. None of the promised benefits were accessible at reputable resorts, and some of the accommodations available were subpar. Even worse, booking through Ascendant Holidays proved to be more expensive than booking directly with the resorts. This situation feels like a rip-off and a scam. I'm urgently requesting the cancellation of the contract and a refund. Despite following their instructions to cancel via phone and email, I haven't received any response, leaving me burdened with a contract I can't afford or utilize. This level of service is unacceptable, and it's putting me in a significant financial strain.

      I called this business to return my money within three days of them scamming me into believing I was buying a vacation membership to many elite properties. They refused to answer my calls and waited until the cancellation period was over to get back in touch with me so that they can say that it was too late to back out. This company is predatory and called me making me believe I had won a free trip when in fact they had this whole presentation set up to manipulate me. They said all I had to do was pay the $2494 and I could go on these immaculate vacations. I spent over 5 hrs asking questions and vetting them but I had no idea what I was up against as this scam was very well organized and intentional in lying and stealing my money. They had no intention on holding up their end of the agreement after i signed all the documents and paid my money. After I got home, I called customer service and they refused to give me straight up answers, I knew something was fishy so I immediately called my rep to back out. They were giving me the run around and would not send me anything in writing to confirm my request to cancel. I emailed every email I could and called every customer service number I had, with no avail. Til this day I have no resolution and they have put a negative **** on my credit report for refusing to pay them monthly for this predatory agreement.

      While picking up our car rental my *********** were offered free cruises for each & invited to a 2hr presentation on Feb. 18, 2024, there we were told that with their membership we would be able to travel to 4/5* resorts for way less than we normal would pay. Ex: Prices ranged from $299-$399 with their membership instead of ************** offers. Their best salesman was sent to us & was very convincing & used personal info we provided to convince us to buy for our family. 2 hrs turned into over 7 hrs, no food, we wasnt allowed to use cellphone or leave to eat because it would be over soon. The Director of Sales came & kept offering more bonuses so we would buy. We were offered a free stay for the rest of our week at ********* to show the type of hotels they offered. After so many hours of great pitching I caved in, it sounded good, they offered unlimited wks that we could sell them and get profit or pay off earlier. It cost $28,000, the DO Sales said since I had great credit he was gonna give me $14k without interest & 14k to pay for $218 monthly. They applied for a Credit Card at Barclays for the $14,000 & charged it without saying what they were doing, hitting my credit score by 85 pts. They rushed the signing of contract & explained lightly the details. Hungry & tired we didnt read all 18 pages. Said only 3 days to cancel but charged the $ same day, so no chance to cancel. Many things were directly misleading as they are not RCI, the Company that processes the reservations. Paid off $11521 with discount on 3/14 Access was not given until 3/16/24 & was nothing as advertised. No wks available. I called to cancel on 3/19, sent an email as told & until now they have not responded. They escalated the case but no one has info or contacted me back after many calls. Many other situations happened, not enough space to explain. I want a cancellation for something I have not used or will be able to use as they sold. AH was misleading & RCI said it was not their doing.

      I was contacted May 3 by a representative of Ascendant Holidays, after explaining my situation and frustration he said he would bump to complaint to corporate but until today I have not received any calls, resolutions or changes in my dispute. Since  they had not resolved the complaint I had not seen the message saying in 10 days I had to answer or the case will close. Its been over 12 days now and no answer or call back. 

      It has not been resolved in any way, shape or form. Very Frustrating.

      I  contacted Ascendant Hollidays on May 3, 2024 with ************************** and until today no one has contacted me. I have called in the last week various time and have either hung up after waiting or just hung up in seconds. Last call made was 5/22/24 and I asked for *********** and after a long hesitation was told he was busy but would call back. I said I understood, he was soon to leave but for him to please call the next day, he said yes.  A week has gone by and nothing. Corporate has charged both my credit cards with but have not returned any calls or given any solution.
      On our call on May 3, 2024, *********** said he was suggesting to corporate a change of membership to something of lesser value
      . It was been since march 18, I first made my cancellation appeal, written email to company on march 20 and after many months they still have not resolved anything.

      I heard about a free trip on the radio with instruction to text for a chance to win. I won the trip and was advised I needed to pay $99.99 & sit through a sales presentation to get the certificate. I paid & went to the sales pitch with Ascendant ************** ******* sat through the presentation which felt forced. We attempted to say no & the 1 sales person turned into 2. The 2nd guy pushed harder for us to buy & asked why wouldn't we. Mom finally caved after several hrs of sitting with them. We asked how to cancel & both of us heard 30 days. When we attempted to call 3 weeks later to cancel they advised we only had 3 days. They stated, in the state of ** they are allowed do 3 days instead of 30. So we were now stuck. Mom got the 1st bill & noticed the monthly payment quoted would make the total vacation club cost 2 1/2 x more than stated. We attempted again to reach out & cancel. They transferred the call several times & again advised there was no way to cancel. They were rude & with nasty attitudes. They stated there was just no way to cancel. Feeling stuck, we attempted to book a trip and were unable. We attempted to use our vacation certificates given for going to the sales pitch & have not been able to register them. We have not been able to get on the Gocrv.com site provided. All devices used states it's not a trusted site & it would attempt to obtain personal information. I looked up reviews on this site, a lot of reviews reported the same issues, others had different issues, but most reported it's a fraudulent site. Mom has been paying for fear of messing up her credit. We don't know what to do. We just want out, never to deal with this company again. We want to not lose anymore money. Mom is getting ready to retire and this company promised her the world. She is paying for something we are unable to use. I can fax any documents needed.

      After several attempts to reach someone by phone, I was finally able to receive an email address from someone via chat and am awaiting a response. Here is an edited version of that email My husband and I attended a 2 hour presentation in Orlando on March 13, 2024. We were offered two vacations just for attending. At the end of the presentation, we decided not to buy a membership. In response to this declination, we were offered by a sales ***** ****************************** a Comeback Vacation Experience for $149.00 in *****, **. We accepted this offer. When I questioned the box where I needed to initial that we would have to attend another 2 hour presentation in *****, ********************** told ** that we would not have to attend the entire presentation once we were there because we had already done it in Orlando so I initialled that box. He also said that we could bring our pets to the comeback vacation in ***** and that we would receive a $50.00 **** card as well as enjoy a ************* free of charge.I called and made a reservation in *****. I received an email back from them stating that I could not bring my pets because the room associated with this event was not pet friendly and that we would receive our $50.00 **** gift card at the end of the 2 hour presentation.I am cancelling this trip according to the guidelines outlined on the copy that we received of the contract.In addition, we were sent information regarding an 8 night/7 day vacation and one other shorter vacation that were a gift just for attending the presentation which I cannot locate and asked for them to send me another copy. I am also awaiting a reply.I asked them direct me in the correct direction if I was reaching the wrong department.

      Shortly after I lodged my complaint with you and sent an email to the company involved, I received a call from a representative there who graciously offered us our money back and said she will have a  talk with the manager of the sales rep who sold us the Comeback vacation. She also said she would forward me the  documents that I requested which I could no longer find in my email. My major complaint here was not being able to contact the sale rep or the business itself when I needed help/clarification and I felt like I shouldn't have to search as hard as I had to in order to contact someone or find an email address to write to them. Her response time was practically immediate and I appreciated that the problem seems to be resolved.

      Contract Signed on 2/20/2024 with an agreement that members can chose our desired accomodation on my own terms by choosing when, where and how frequeThntly we want to vacation. This statement was repeated over & over again by every sales representative and it is also stated on their website, purposely and/or intentionally omitting facts that contradicts this statement. During my sales orientation, I reiterated the fact that my main reason for investing in this so-called resort/club was due to the numerous vacations I plan throughout the year to ***********. I emphasized that I had planned on taking a trip in June and asked if I purchased will I be able to use my weeks and/or points at that time which they "assured me" that all I had to do was call RCI and speak to a travel representative and they will handle it all. It has been a nightmare and the knowledge that I know now about Ascendant Holiday is equivalant to a group of Scam Artists. I have make over 25 call for reservations, asked to speak to Management, to no avail. The indicated they have only 2 resorts in *********** all completely booked for the next 2 years!!! They offered me 3 star hotel in *********** where I can purchase on my own for much less. This is far from a *********** as they call it. This is more like a Timeshare, which I've never had an interest in owning!! I am requesting to have my contract void & null, with no credit rating affects!!
