      I have contacted Abeka and have spent hours on multiple phone calls to Abeka. I do not know how to get this resolved so I can order my son's material for this school year. Please help me to resolve this matter. I would certainly appreciate it. In August or September of 2021 I purchased the 10th grade kit with streaming videos for my son from Christian Book Dist. Next, I ordered my daughters 5th grade with streaming through Abeka. I called Abeka and they told me that because of the pandemic the orders were being processed slowly and wouldn't be shipped out for several more days. I called back to Abeka to cancel the 5th grade kit, only to find out that now the representative is telling me that the books have shipped out. I asked how I could return the books and the rep walked me through the process. I sent the boxes back unopened to Abeka. Again I called to see if Abeka had received the return, I was told they didn't know if they were returned. I called again and was told that the books were returned but they didn't see where they credited my account. Another call and I was told that a rep would be reaching out to me within a couple of weeks regarding my return. I received no call after two weeks, so again called Abeka & asked what to do about getting my credit, this time I was advised by one of the rep to call my credit card comp and ask them for the refund because she had no idea when anyone would reach out to me because of the pandemic. After receiving the credit from the credit card, a few weeks later Abeka placed a credit. The next thing I know, my son's Abeka streaming that I purchased through Christian Book Dist was cancelled. After several calls last year, finally a rep has admitted that yes my son's account was cancelled because of the extra credit on the account. I spoke with Caleb a couple of times and he stated that he would get with his manager and they would credit my account for ******** streaming since it was cancelled and he had to teach himself. He was to get back with me and let me know the credit and he said Abeka would remove any late fees and interest. I have wanted to purchase my son's school material for 11th grade but was told that until this situation was resolved that I would not be allowed to order material. This is quite frustrating since we are already in January and no materials for son yet.

      In April 2021 I signed up my grandaughter to Abeka Academy online. I was given temporary authorization by my daughter and sent this information via email to Abeka. In July 2021 I contacted Abeka Academy and Informed them my grandaughter was going back home and transferred account responsibility to my daughter. They removed my contact information and was given her name, address, and phone number and she was made the sole responsible party. She became delinquent on a debt of $381. The only notice I received came from a collections agency on Dec 18, 2022. I immediately called Abeka and no one was available so I sent an email and a letter. They did not respond. When I called Abeka again on Jan 5, 2023 my first contact Amber acknowledged 3 payments were not made, however she quoted back all of my daughter's contact information. I told her that's where the mistake occurred. I have attached a transcript of our conversation. After I was transferred to Yvonne she deflected and refused to acknowledge their mistake. She told me, "you signed the enrollment agreement." I asked, "Why didn't you have my daughter complete another enrollment agreement? Her response, "That's not how we do things." I asked Yvonne, "You shipped books to my house, why didn't you send me a notice to Texas?!" Because for a measly $381 they decided to pull the information off the enrollment agreement and report me to collections instead of notifying me of the unpaid account because they knew I was no longer the responsible party. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with how they handled a measly $381. They were willing to damage my credit rating because of it. Where's not talking thousands of dollars. I see they have an "F" rating with the BBB and I can understand why. This is a horrible representation of a Christian faith. Abeka record their calls for "quality assurance." All they had to do is check the phone record under my number for July 2021 and see what occurred and rectify this situation.

      I am rejecting this response because: I'm requesting a copy of every deliquent letter and email sent; the name and addresses and email address. Let's see how low will you stoop to continue this lie that you sent me communication, in Texas, about the deliquent account. I'm not denying I signed up Trinity. I have already stated that. I'm reaffirming your practices regarding updating client records and properly notifying them before sending them to collections is dishonest and inexcusable.

      In January, 2022, I enrolled my grandson in Abeka in an attempt to get him in school as soon as possible because he was being abused & was put in Kansas State Custody as a child in need of care. It took me 2 years & attorney's fees to get him out of the state of Kansas custody. He was 2 years behind in school. We didn't realize that he couldn't even do the 6th grade work & I could not follow the ABEKA teaching tools even though I have a BA in English & a 38 year retired paralegal. Nor did I get any help from ABEKA. During this time, my husband had COVID and almost died on me from January to May, 2022 from COVID related pneumonia. Following this, I had COVID from July to August, deathly ill. I contacted ABEKA because they kept sending me emails & calling, They AGREED to cancel this even after the 90 days if I returned all the books. I tried to get the books back to them as soon as I could, but they went back later than they required. NOW They are bugging me to pay the remaining balance and won't "extend" the due date to get the books back.

      I had ordered homeschooling supplies for my daughter, that were returned, unopened. I was still charged a payment plan fee, even though the items were returned. In the information, it was not noted that the fee was "non refundable". They are not refunding the fee, and the account has a $0 balance. I am attaching information that shows on their website that the information as presented, no where does it indicate that it the fee is non refundable.

      I returned my 4th grade student Curriculum on the 2nd of July and they received it on the 5th. I had put it on a payment plan with another student order and am almost done paying off the other student material. The materials were unopened and still in it's original shrink wrap. I have been in contact with Abeka since trying to get my refund resolved 7 times now and they keep telling me it take 6 to 8 weeks to get the refund and it is in processing. It has been 4 months now and nothing is resolved. Since the last time I talked to them in the beginning of Sept the processing return has disappeared off my dashboard portal, but it still shows I owe money on my pending payments for this product. I do not want to pay for a product I do not even have in my possession since by the way they are handling this whole process I will never get refunded for the product once it is paid off. They need to resolve this issue or they will lose the business for both of my children's school curriculum needs in the coming years.

      My children were initially enrolled into Abeka Homeschooling digital program in September 2021. Since the first month, there has been misinformation and lack of communication regarding directions on tests being written in ink or pencil. There was a 4 week grading delay in June 2022, allegedly due to a computer glitch. Staff members are poorly trained and each time I was transferred the story had to be repeated from start to finish. Information was never updated in the account notes. Then I received a call from a Supervisor named Tamah on 9/19/22, promising to get approval for a $100 enrollment discount, which was to be separately approved from the coupon codes in the order (also totaled $100). Tamah also stated she would help push the order through shipping yo be received within days. Tamah then sent a confirmation email that the discount was applied, but when I logged in to check out and pay for the digital enrollment, there was no discount or any details about the promised shipping arrangements (regular express shipping is between $284-$665). I responded to the email received on 9/19/22, asking for assistance and to receive a call. The response was that a call back was impossible. I sent a similar request on 9/19/22, asking to receive a call from a Supervisor and Tamah called me. My family has suffered greatly from improper business actions of Abeka staff. No one is ever accountable and help is tremendously hard to get. I need a resolution ASAP. My daughters are not able to start their studies in a timely manner, which causes several issues of truancy with my local jurisdiction and school board. Please assist with the matter. I have several email chains of proof to attach for confirmation of all statements made.

      On 8-25-22 I purchased a 5th gradeBook-Video Student/Parent Kit from Abeka Total purchase price $1242. On 8/29 I received a call from Abeka asking me if I needed help with my enrollment. I was a bit confused as to why I needed to enroll so "ASSUMED" ( BIG MISTAKE) it was due to choosing to use the videos as I've only purchased the book kits the previous years . 5 minutes into the conversation with the Abeka representative we figure out that I've paid for an accredited kit rather than uncredited kit. This is where the problems begin. After struggling with the rep to get this corrected I decide to cancel my order all together because during the course of the conversation I'm told it will take 2 weeks to get the books to me. I decided to order through Christian Books as I've done the past 3 years. Unbenounced to me once I pay for the kit with them I'm sent a reference code that I'm directed to give to Abeka to fulfill my order. I'm assuming it's because the videos are streamed through Abeka. OK all good. Books order and now I wait on Books and my refund for my cancelation from the first order. I received an email stating the cancelation was made with no problem or restocking fees and the check has been sent to the address on file. It states sometimes it can take 7-14 to receive it. I give it a week and call because the email is a bit confusing. Has it been mailed will it be mailed in 7-14 days ?Good thing I did call. The young man I spoke with informed me that my refund has been canceled out. WHY? He wasn't sure . I've received at least 6 different excuses 6 times as to why my refund has been canceled. After numerous attempts I was FINALLY directed to a supervisor and actually received a call back from her only to be told yet AGAIN , I'll see to it the check is in the mail within 2weeks. The excuses I've been given are absolutely ridiculous and its actually insulting to me . This is $1242 . That's a mortgage payment. I want my money back PLEASE !!!

      On August 11th I ordered an arithmetic answer key. I contacted them on the 16th asking why I haven't gotten a confirmation number. They told me that the order was being processed for shipping and that I should receive the tracking information on it within a day or 2. On the 17th I saw that it still wasn't shipped and so I ordered the book elsewhere and tried to cancel my order with Abeka. They told me that the warehouse was already processing my shipment and that they can't cancel it. On the 22nd of August I again contacted them and let them know that my shipment still had not been shipped and would like immediate reimbursement as I had already gotten the book from another source. AGAIN they said that they are unable to cancel it and I will just have to return it once I get it. I got a confirmation later in the day that my order had been shipped and then i received the book on the 26th I believe. Well I went to return it and I had to pay the shipping for returning it! I also only got a 'credit' from Abeka. I was not planning on dealing with Abeka again after this whole ordeal and now I can't even get my payment back nor the $10 I spent in returning it after it took over 2 weeks to get to me.

      FedEx record shows that on 08/12/2002 at 1:38 p.m. shipment #276550533942 from ABeka Academy has been delivered at my home address at *** ****** * ***** La Vernia, TX ****** However, I did not received a package. I contacted ABeka Academy by phone at 3:38 p. m. and spoke to Mary @ Shipment Support and I asked her to resolve the issue. I tried to provide the Fed-ex tracking information, but the Lady said to expect at least a 2 week delay in correcting any delivery issue we RECEIVED OR NOT. This answer that ABeka Academy will look into it, BUT the shipment will be missing for weeks first. This will delay the start of our child's Education, a minimum of 2-4 weeks. 2 weeks to determine if the package is missing, before an investigation begins into the books and study materials location, and an indeterminate amount of time before the materials can be replaced. This can delay Homeschool start time by as long as a month. SCHOOL STARTS ON 19AUGUST2022. 1: ABEKA ACADEMY indicated scheduled school tuition payments from enrollees are still due with fees for damaged materials.
