Photos listed in the advertisement were a great misrepresentation of the current condition of the cabin we rented. Carpet was VERY soiled and torn, pool table was very torn, pool ***** chipped, buttons missing on hot tub, washer and dryer, walls and hardwood floors had a lot of damage. One of our guests cut their foot from broken glass left from previous renters that wasn't cleaned up before we arrived... The list goes on and on. I sent photos to the company and requested 2 nights of our stay be refunded due to the misrepresentation and poor condition of the cabin. However, they only refunded $209.30. I don't even know where they came up with that number. Very poor customer service - they didn't even try to make it right. After my husband has been a loyal customer for years with *********************************************, they have lost ** as a customer for sure after this experience.VTrips

We booked Sweet Surrender in **********, *********. After a 9 hour drive, I could not wait to go into the hot tub. After 30 seconds, the hot tub shut off. After several tries, I gave up and call management. They said a repair man would come the next day. No show, called again, they said no work order was made. We then found out from some of the workers, that the hot tub was broken for a month and asked if we knew about it before booking. Management said sorry, would credit ** $150, we left the next day. It took 3 days to get a hair dryer and blender, coffee filters were an option. The bad thing, was they knew about the broken hot tub, took my money, the offer a $150 credit. Stay away from this booking, STAY AWAY FROM SWEET SURRENDER, IF YOU WANT TO RELAX IN A HOT TUB , DRY YOUR HAIR, AND HAVE A SMOOTHY !VTrips

We apologize for the hot tub not working at its best during your stay with **, *******. We ordered a part and expected it to arrive before your visit. And we brought you the hair dryer and blender as soon as you let ** know, so thanks for the heads-up. In addition to a partial refund, we offered to relocate you to an alternative cabin, covering the difference in cost. If only there were a zero star rating! I booked two beachfront houses in ********** for a family birthday and I am still apologizing to them. Coastal Heaven is sold as a luxury rental and charged accordingly. What did we get in return? Broken wine & drinking glasses, chipped dishes, toilet coming off base, black worms in shower, a single cheap towel/per person for 4 nights, completely broken down bunk bed (had to drag mattress to floor), 2 dishwasher tabs, a dirty pool with broken skimmer, filthy bbqs, weeds everywhere....completely run down and disappointing on every level. I understood that we would need to bump up supplies, but the level of cheapness and neglect in the home was unacceptable. The amount of paperwork, contracts & gate passes was slightly less than a mortgage closing. Wish Vtrips paid more attention to details when it came to the quality of the properties that they get away with gauging people for. The only bright spot to the trip was that it was thankfully only 4 nights and not 7! Run far and fast from this company....wish I would have!VTrips

Worst experience ever. A total scam. Originally booked a location for the view and the pet policy (pets are welcomed). I get a call that the location is no longer available. I was asked why I chose the location; I made it clear to them that the location and pet policy is important. I get sent an email with a link to a different property to view. I approved and went forward. At arrival on my second night, I get a call from the property manager that I need to remove my pet. That pets are not allowed for short term rentals. So in the middle of the night, I have to pack up and go through the hassle of have to moving to another location due to my pet. Ryson vacation rentals need to be more open and honest with guest with pets. I chose their location mainly because it said it was pet friendly. This was the worst experience ever. Totally do not recommend. After they get your money, they simply do not care about the guest experience afterwards.VTrips

The unit itself was one of the best units we have stayed in (on Hilton Head). It had a great view, great features in the kitchen, and was clean/new feeling. The experience in dealing with VTrips, however, was truly terrible. When we arrived the unit felt a bit warm, but we didnt think much of it. As the days went on the temperature continued to rise, until it was 80 inside, and we reached out to VTrips to come check the *** We called on Saturday at 3:30 pm, and were told that there was no service company that could come check the unit. The next morning, we still hadnt heard anything back from Vtrips, so we called at 9:30 am, and were told that they would send over a staff member to see if the ** was really broken. They came at noon, installed a new filter, and told us to call back in an hour if it wasnt cooler. It wasnt, so we called back, and the response from **** at VTrips was truly appalling. He was dismissive and rude. When the ** repair man came, he at least made a temporary repair that would solve the problem for us. At no point after this, did we ever hear back from VTrips. No one called to see if the problem had been solved, or to let us know of any other future repairs taking place, so we were shocked when we came back from the pool a few days later to find the ** repairman standing in our unit. While I know that the unit owners can allow whoever they want into the unit, it felt like a real violation of our space/belongings to know that random people were being allowed into the unit while we were renting it. It also made us wonder, who else may have been in the unit while we were there? We love Hilton Head, and will certainly be coming back, but with so many other rental companies/owners to rent with, we will definitely be avoiding VTrips, and would recommend that others do the same.VTrips

Hi, ****! I'm so sorry to hear about your experience, as that is not our typical standard of service. We made it our top priority to ensure the ** was working properly, as we had contacted three vendors to come out on Saturday. Unfortunately, none of those vendors could make it out that day. As per the owner's instructions, we checked the filters before replacing any part, which in this case turned out to be a circuit board. After ordering that part, the ** is once again blowing ice-cold air. And there's no doubt we could've done a better job communicating when the technician arrived. LOCATION STILL WATER COVE CABIN On 7/28 I booked this place for 8/5-8/7. First I would like to make sure you know there are papers you have to sign in 48 hrs or they will cancel your stay with NO REFUND. They do not sent you the information to check in until the exact time you cant. So if you dont get service your phone might not load it on the property. We arrived at 3:30. We came from out of state and made better time than we expected. After we pulled in the maintenance guy showed up to do a walk threw and make sure nothing was broke. 30 mins before our check in! We had already walked down to the lake and noticed the stairs were broke so much so that you could not get to the dock from the house! We asked him about them and he Informed us they have been like this for over a week and a half (so since before I booked) They never mentioned this in fact access to the lake WAS THE ONLY REASON WE CHOOSE THIS PLACE. Before he left he also informed us one of the two showers also didnt work. Frustrated was an understatement. The next morning maintance showed up to block off the stairs to the boat dock so they couldnt be held liable for injury but had no interest and fixing the shower! We paid ****$ for 42 hrs on this property and were not even able to access the lake which was the o Lu reason we choose this spot. Also pictures of this property are not accurate. There are two patio areas one of which is completely rotted. In the pictures it also looks like you can access the lake by stairs from the porch of the house which you can not. Its a long trail that is straight up/down hill that has grown up because they didnt bother to even weed eat it. Not that it mattered since we couldnt access the lake. This property is managed my Jackson mountain homes and I would not recommend staying at any of their properties. They did offer us 100$ back which was pretty much a slap in the face after lying to us and ripping us off **** dollars!VTrips

I can certainly appreciate how having access to the lake was a chief consideration, so I'm sorry I wasn't able to provide that. 1 starDON’T BOOK W/ RYSON! This is a horrible management company! We stayed in a cute vacation home in Galveston this past week/weekend that had a great bay canal access but was far from accommodating of basic needs such as blankets, towels, empty trash cans (they were left full and stinky) , a clean fish cleaning table to start with them downstairs lighted walkways and stairs were just a piece of the cake. They clearly were not concerned with the water leaking from the ceiling light fixture upon our arrival Thursday. The wet rug, stained wet mattress & 3 gallon bucket was supposedly sufficient for our 5 day stay but they were quick to charge over $3800.00 but no customer service was included with this fee. STAY AWAY! Electrical safety issues not responded to. Ground fault and at least 2 circuits out in our cabin, a clear electrical/ fire/ safety hazard, and managements response for over 6 hours now is that theyll get around to it later! I tried to insist that they move this up as a priority since it is a safety issue but they did not seem to care. For the safety issue (and the poor customer service) I have to recommend that you stay away from Jackson Mountain homes.VTrips

And I see from the notes that the electrician we sent out to inspect the outlets concluded that there were no issues. Im so relieved to hear this, as safety is always at the forefront of my mind. And I also want my guests to also enjoy first-class amenities while they stay in my home, so Im pleased to hear youve accepted a partial refund due to the dishwasher not performing. DO NOT RENT THROUGH VTRIP !!! The condo at Hibiscus was beautiful but VTRIPS treated us really poorly. Our trip was reserved for early June 2022. We reserved and paid months before the trip but 6 weeks before leaving we were informed the condo would be under construction. At that point we could not find comparable lodging because we needed to bring our dog which was permitted in this condo. Also, the condo had a beautiful oceanfront balcony view. We accepted the circumstances feeling at least we could still enjoy the balcony despite the construction. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found the balcony stripped of safety rails and boards over the doors to the balcony. This we were not expecting. Having not even unpacked yet, We immediately requested a discount from VTRIPS - which would have satisfied us if it had been reasonable. It took the entire week to get a response from management and then we were only offered $175 for a condo costing over $2500. The photos included in this review illustrate the conditions we were living in during our stay including nails on the stairs, debris in the walkways and strangers on our balcony. Why would you have this much construction during the most popular vacation months and moreover, how could a company like VTRIPS not know this scheduling conflict and simply not put the condo up for rent until construction was complete? incompetence or deception? I will stay at Hibiscus resort but not through VTRIP. Or any other locations through them for that matter -BIG RIP OFF!!VTrips
