The apartment was filthy when we moved in, it definitely had smokers in it and was supposed to be a non smoking unit. The staff obviously did not clean up after the last tenants. On top of that roaches would get into the apartment from cracks in the walls and there was never anyone who would come out and spray pesticide even though this was part of the monthly rental fees. Now that we've moved out they are scamming us out of our security deposit and charging us additional money on top of that for replacing the carpet. I doubt they'll actually replace it seeing as to how filthy it was when we moved in and I spent over 12 hours steam cleaning it just to get it somewhat presentable. The staff was also very slow to complete any work orders often time taking over two months just to get to a simple light fix or fan repair. Also when maintenance repaired my bathroom fan they left a massive mess in my bathroom from the dry wall and mold that came out of the vent. I guess cleaning up the mess they make from a repair like that is not a part of their job. Overall the management and employees are terrible and just their to scam money from renters.Review from Luke H

UDR is the worst place to rent from!! They leave residents without working air conditioning, causing indoor temperatures to rise above 82°. The "help" team is completely useless and rude. This entire company is a scam and if you are considering renting from them, take this as a warning and RUN! If you are considering renting in the area, I suggest anywhere but here.
