I bought a GE washer from RC Willey (Rocklin, California) about eleven months ago but had a rinsing problem. I called the GE repairman who came out and had the computer reset in less than five minutes all under warranty. Well, my old washer(Speed Queen) lasted twenty years without any problems before it started leaking water. I called a repair service and the repairman told me that it would cost as much as a new washer to get it fixed since the tub would have to be removed before a new pump could be installed. I had originally thought that buying insurance wasn't necessary since I had such good service with my Speed Queen (no computer parts). I decided that if this new washer need attention so soon after buying that i I might just as well buy repair insurance just in case. Well, as you know, as soon as you buy something the news finds its way on-line with advertisements for repair service/warranty. My mistake. I bought repair insurance on line from Federal Warranty Company; I thought I was buying from GE and didn't realize that I had been misled and realized my mistake when I received my first installment payment drawn from my credit union working account. Only then did I discover the name of the insurance company I never received a contract or agreement only three monthly payments, so far (instead of a one-time Payment) I don't remember what the total cost was and now I also don't know how long I'll be paying, no statement with payments made or a balance owed. I bought a lowes warranty protection for my freezer and for food loss i lost all my food which is over $1000.00 but they only cover $300 and i have filed 2 claims and have follwed compay protocol and still have not been reinbursed for my food so buyers beaware of buying protection plans from this company i have been scamed and my children are not able to eat complete meals because we lost everything we had in this over 6ft tall freezer im so sad and hurt can anyone help me we have nothing

The customer service has been horrible thus far. I'm due a refund and they cannot seem to get it right. I've updated my address with them on 3 occasions now and they continue to send a payment check to my previous address. I no longer live in that state and every time I call, they refuse to let me speak to a supervisor or a member of management to rectify the situation.
