Dale at South Tail almost got me killed. It took hi approx 2 months to replace a door panel on my car because he lost the screws. He put an incorrect one in and my door flew open while driving on i75 and I could not shut it. New repair shop said car was undrivable. I almost hit 2 cars on free way trying to hold door shut. His last conversation with me was he was in a boatyard at 1:30 in the morning looking for a screw. I wanted to ask him if it was the one that fell out of his HEAD. MY INSURANCE COMPANY REMOVED HIM FROM THEIR PREFERRED vendor list due to all the complaints He also is able to DELETE complaints Because their were so many several months ago. He is so bad he is dangerous

I went to South Trail Auto Body based on the recommendation of a mechanic who was unable to repair the front bumper of my car. After making arrangements to leave the car, I left the country for a week, Upon returning I found that my car was not repaired allegedly due to an insurance glitch which was immediately fixed. After a few days I was notified that the car was ready. I paid 50% of the bill and took the car and quickly discovered that the front bumper sensors did not work. The owner failed to determine why and said I had to return to the dealer to have it calibrated... which I did. As soon as I got home the dealer called to advise me the front bumper was held on to the frame with "tie wraps" and that the sensors were the wrong ones for the model I had. The owner denied the complaints blaming the dealership for the problems and was angry and argumentative and demanded final payment. USAA Ins. sent me a check for the balance due, I kept the money because of his failure and how he made the situation worse with wrong sensors and zip ties. USAA Ins. called and asked about the money and I asked what they were told by the owner, thenI gave them the facts as I knew them as did the dealership and I never heard anything after that. Using South Trail is not recommended and I would not use that repair shop again... period. South Trail has zero integrity, is dishonest, shady and deceitful. Buyer beware.
