Someone posing as an agent for this company called my job on today, April 14, 2025. I took the call and asked what they wanted but I was not given an answer. I told the person that they could not call my job for whatever this was and they hung up in my face stating that they would call HR on me since I wouldn't talk. They had me on the phone but wouldn't talk to me. I assume this is spam but this is not okay.Business Response

These people call constantly leaving threatening messages. I have no idea who they are or what they want as I have no debts in collections. They also have been told to stop calling me and to mail me a verification if any actually exists, yet they continue calling from spoofed numbers that I constantly have to block. Multiple members of my extended family have been called and harassed by this company multiple times over the past few months. I have received voicemails while working and have disregarded them, as I have never had business or made contact with this company. I am told by my family they are abusive, vile and demanding of information my family does not have. This debt collector company keeps on calling me and telling me they have my account with Speedy Cash and to set up a payment. I couldnt do it that day, but I wanted to do my due diligence and call Speedy Cash directly to confirm if my account was sold to **********************. They told me my account is still with Speedy Cash and hasnt been sold yet. I am rejecting this response because:when I called Speedy Cash and told them that your agency called and requested payment for the debt, two people thought it was strange and did a thorough investigation on my account. Both said my account was never sold or transferred over to your agency and that my debt is still being managed by them. I then set up and started a $200 biweekly payment with them last week. Just to confirm, a few days later I called the corporate office and they also said my debt was never sold/transferred and that I had a payment plan in place. I have attached a screenshot of the email confirming my first payment of the payment plan went through successfully.

I received a phone call from Global Trust Management, LLC on 9/20/2024 at 1:07 PM. This call was made to my cell phone which I registered on the Do Not Call List on August 5, 2005. They claimed that they had two accounts that needed to be settled. They wanted me to verify my information which I refused to do over the phone due to a recent breach of my identity which caused harm to me at my financial institution, which I relayed to them. I do not have any accounts nor have I ever contracted with this company. I told them that this was my business line and they did not have permission to call me as we have never established a relationship. When I refused to verify my information for them, the representative (#****) began using verbally abusive and accusatory language against me. I told them I realized this was a recorded call and proceeded to tell them they needed to send any inquiries and purchaser agreement with my signature to me via mail for my review but the representative chose to talk overtop of me and insulted me by saying something along the lines of "You need to learn how to handle/pay your bills" and then proceeded to hang up on me before a resolution could be met. This was highly unprofessional and discriminatory in nature. Not only is this considered harassment by law but violates: 15 USC 1692g (Debt Validation) 15 USC 1692d (Harassment and Abuse) and 15 USC 1692c (Communication Restrictions) as well as Uniform Commercial Codes regarding Contractual Obligations which requires parties to have a contractual relationship to enforce collection actions. This interaction also violates UCC *****, Good Faith and Fair Dealing, as the collection agency is attempting to pursue me for a debt that I do not owe, acting in bad faith which violates this very principle. They violated the Fair Debt Collections Act.Business Response
