    They are abusing- and there is an apartment complex we lived in in 2020, and the complex changed names right around the time we moved in from ************ to ***********. During this time, there was a rent special where we got the first month free. During this one month I can infer is when the name change occurred. We never heard anything and had to deal out with alot of the fall out from the company change. Management told us that the name carried carry over into new renters Insurance- they said it was all fine. come to find out everyone in the complex's renters insurance "lapsed" because of the name change. Now I have a company called Hunter Warfield claiming that I owe them 150 dollars from ************ ( the original name)- so the whole two years we were at ***********, we didn't know there wa even a debt. it is not on my credit report, and seemingly appearing from mid-air. This is predatory, and they are even ***** on the phone when I simply asked for some clarification about where this debt originated. I would be more inclined to pay this if it was something that I knew i incurred

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The response provided does not address the issue at hand, which is the disclosure of information to the Better Business Bureau regarding the complaint against Hunter Warfield. As mentioned before I am not liable for this debt to MAA Skyway and I do not have a contractual agreement with Hunter Warfield thus their reporting is inaccurate and causing me financial and personal harm. The request for authorization included in the response releases Hunter Warfield from any liability, which they should be held liable as it does not provide a resolution to the complaint or address the concerns raised in the complaint. Simply releasing Hunter Warfield from liability does not address the issue of whether or not the requested information will be disclosed to the Better Business Bureau. So please ensure they immediately removed from my credit reports.
