I went to the Coast Dental in ************ location. They made my first time temporarily dentures I absolutely loved them. Used my insurance on the temporaries. The Office closed due to not enough help. Then I was sent to the *********,** location to have the permanent set made. Which I paid full price for. They told me one price.I paid in full. Then slipped in a new paper saying I owed more because the receptionist made a mistake! Told Dr. ***** that I want my permanent set exactly like the temporary. I know I had to have the front bite on the two front teeth adjusted just a smidge I didnt want to mess up the look.************* proceeded to adjust them as she saw fit to her liking. Not as I ask. Heres the kicker. The same lady who made the molds that I loved. She made the same exact molds at the ************** as well. I could have lived with the bite. I loved how the looked so much. When I first got them in. They ask me how I liked them. I said I was glad to have teeth. Asked and hurried me to write a survey. That wasnt complete and scrambled. Once I go home and the swelling went down. I looked like Mrs. ********* from the kid move. I went back for a couple of adjustments and nothing helped. I ask for a do over and the doctor said no. I told her I paid full price and I told her these were not what I wanted and paid for. She called me a liar. She was the one telling the untruth. She had no one else back there. She said she did what her notes said. I was crying profusely and said that I would lay the teeth on the counter and kindly ask for a refund because they were so wrong. Unless you cans make it right like I paid highly for. And was humiliated and barely left my house for two years. She said no. That I would have to pay her fees. I tried to call corporate. They would not return calls. The Corporate Supervisor was in the office 3 time. And said she would call me back and never did. This took place between 7-2021 - 11-2023. I just emotionally able to talk about.

On 3-5-24 I had an appt for cleaning. They told me a charge to pay up front. I refused. If insurance didn't cover it I wasn't going to have it done. Couldn't afford. So walked out. About 30 minutes later the hygienist called me to say that it was no charge so I rescheduled for the following Tue 3-22-24. Went in and was told by person showing us to the room it was no charge. Then when the hygienist came in she also said it was no charge. So I let her do the cleaning. About a week later I get a bill for $510.48. I refused to pay. I sent the billing office in Orlando a note refusing to pay. I took a copy to the local office informing them of refusal to pay. As for as I'm concerned this is very unprofessional and illegal. I'm (Lou) writing this on behalf of my sister (Brenda), I'm her care giver.

Lying thieves. On July 22 2024 I had a panoramic x-ray and an oral x-ray, they determined that I needed 2 teeth pulled. I got 2 injections of a novocaine and a simple extraction of 2 teeth. When I checked out I was told that I owed $308.60. I called the office and was told that the billing department was not available. I then called the insurance company and they told me that everything they had done was covered by my insurance. On top of that, they charged the insurance company in excess of $3,200!!! I'd like some answers and retribution,.

April/July 2024 - Tallahassee Coast Dental refused to provide cleaning service covered by insurance without add on services. Once we paid for add on services, refused to provide cleaning service without paying more than agreed upon insurance rate. Finally, refused to send x-rays to new dentist we sent our daughter to so she could get a cleaning completed. Horrible ethics with this establishment.

Bed management very disrespectful on everything, I started going to this dentist September of 2023. I went and I had three teeth pulled they charged my Humana insurance company for 6 teeth being pulled. I also went in for a full denture plate and a partial for the bottom I had impressions done on both they also had called me and told me that they lost the impressions. So I had to go back in the end of September do another impressions up and the and I made appointment to go back to have them fitted and they canceled 16 appointments on me and I never got my dentures all my plates This is the worst dentist I've ever ever been to. They had billed my insurance company and they have gotten paid three times for the same thing. The last time I've been to this dentist was October 28th 2023 and they've canceled multiple appointments and I've been on the phone with my insurance company and the dentist the three-way call. Next thing I know the dentist put in for a visit that I supposedly went to in March with a dentist that retired back in November they said I was at the dentist and I would never was so they filed and they received money for something they never did. Just letting you all know nobody should be going to this dentist they should be closed the worst dentist I've ever been to. Now it's July of 2024 and I still never received calls I called them today July 16th 2024 some lady answered the phone and was so rude she was talking to somebody else and then hung up on me now they won't answer their phone I have every right to walk into that dentist and you request my impressions but it's not worth it just don't go to the dentist they are horrible

In May 24, I vsiited regarding a dental emergency. I checked in with the receptionist and asked for an appointment. a long waiting, ********************************, office manager, told me that there was a block on my records and they were not allowed to see me. I asked her why She said there was a note in the records to not treat me. She could not provide any reason why I could not be treated. I told her I never received a letter from their office that I was no longer a patient. She said that DDS *************************** had entered this information in my file. He would not see me to expalin. When I asked to see him, they said he was not available or would not see me. it was a while since my last visit, on this visit, I paid in full for all services. There was no confrontation with the office staff that would result in me being blacklisted at this clinic. Before departing, I asked again if this was the standard practice at this clinic. Apparently it was. To resolve this issue I called the dental office 4 times in Jun and Jul. Three times I got their answering service, left message and never received a call back. One the fourth attempt I reached ***************. She had made no effort to find my recorders, which apparently had been digitized and moved to another location. On 3 Jul *************** told me she would find the recorders and investigate no update provided. She also mentioned that they had denied service to many patients, she did not elaborate on how many or why. IAW with FL Statue ******* Dentist of Record, patient records is required to maintain the patients recorders. Coast dentals management privacy and administrative practices do not conform to this statue.

I would give it a zero, but I must leave at least a one-star to leave a review. I had a cleaning at this establishment by Tech Gina, I decided to check my claims on my Health Insurance and noticed that the claim was half denied so I started digging into it to find that Coast Dental added a partial cleaning to my claim which was never done. I decided to reach out to my Insurance where we did a 3-way call to find out why they had charged for a service I did not get. The so-called Office Manager within a few minutes of the call put us on a 2-second hold and came back and said that Gina said "Yes we did the service" Not true days later I received a letter(A bill) claiming that I owed the money. Today, June 26, 2024, I went into the office and spoke with the receptionist DeShonda who went back to ask Gina about the service in question she said that Gina said they were supposed to have taken that off my service because she did not do that. Finally, the rude office manager came back from lunch and within 30 seconds started to speak loudly you owe that bill I said no I do not your receptionist had asked her Tech Gina and she told her no she did not do that service. She kept waving her hand unprofessional saying bye every time I would tell her something. I finally, said I would appeal the charges and her response was we will drop you as a patient, all she had to do rude office manager was to bring Tech Gina to the front office and ask her in front of me so I could hear her say it from her mouth that she did or didn't do the services that I am being charged for but she just refused to do so. I feel they are charging Medicare for services that were not rendered. I will also be calling them regarding this matter. I was not the only one there with a billing issue another patient was there also wanting answers to a bill.

I've been going there for years. Today I had my 6 month cleaning. I received emails and texts wanting me to verify my appointment, which I did and remind me. I show up and they can't find me in their system. Then they tell me because the person who previously did my cleaning is no longer working for them "Corporate" just cancels my appointment and doesn't tell me and do I want to reschedule!!!! I did not! ***!!!

On January 23, 2024 I went to Coast Dental, Pasadena, Fl for a filling. I was given a statement for $357.00, an estimate of insurance coverage. The disclaimer being that I would need to pay what ever the insurance did not. I was told to pay the amount at the office. With that I figured I had to file a claim with Humana dental. I called about that and was told by Humana that fillings were covered,$0 to me, and that I was not supposed to be charged. I contacted the dental office about receiving a refund, as I found out they also billed Humana and were paid by Humana as well. Humana has documentation to this. In addition to charging me for the fillings, they claim to have filled 3 teeth, and charged for 3 teeth, where I know I only has one filled. I was not “asleep” and would have known if 3 teeth where filled. It has been 6 months since this has occurred with no refund. I have made numerous calls to the office in Pasadena, called the main office in Tampa, had Humana call them and both of us spoke to the head finance person. Everyone agrees there is a refund due, but no one is doing anything about it. I always get “I need to research this and will get back to you in 48 hours”. Never happens. Every call is the same. To add insult to injury, they keep sending a bill for $70 that they say is what Humana did not cover. I have not and will not pay this bill. The finance office said I owed the bill and couldn’t proceed until it was cleared. If I pay that bill, which I won’t, then they will owe me $427. This is the worst experience of any medical facility that I have encountered. They are scam artists and very unprofessional.

I am beyond frustrated i don’t even know where to start . I had work on my mouth done in November of 2023 . Which was fine my problem is with the billing department . When I was leaving I paid whatever my insurance didn’t cover through Sunbit . Never did I know that half of my claims were denied by my insurance because they never sent the tooth number to my insurance company . I have been paying close to $100 a month through Sunbit when half of it could’ve been paid for . I don’t understand how the billing department can’t catch something like this and notify me that my insurance denied my service . When I called delta dental insurance they said it’s only because they never sent the right information over to my insurance this was in November of 2023 . Now it’s July almost of 2024 and I am just figuring out there incompetence in the billing department .
