I was contacted by this company last year to purchase my property. This year when I decided to sell I contacted them and we negotiated a deal for $80,000. I signed the initial contract that will close in 60 days on August 12 2022. On Friday, July 8 I received an email saying that the closing would be July 14 I filled out all closing documents and sent my account wire information as well as other documents that needed to be sent. On July 14 it was no wire transfer and I received a letter saying they were canceling the purchase of my property. July 15 I contacted a realtor and we saw that my property was put up for sale for over 114,000 without my knowledge.Business Response

Hello, I am happy to explain our process to help you understand. Our agreement is a very straight forward contract that lists the answers to the questions you have in this complaint. As stated in the agreement that you signed, you, the seller, agrees to ***** us, the buyer, permission to market your property as necessary including but not limited to real estate agents, the **** and any other venue the buyer may choose. Additionally, there is a line that clearly states that the buyer may cancel transaction for any reason. We are sorry to hear that you were confused on some of this and it was unfortunate we had to cancel the purchase ultimately. We thank you for working with us and hope you give us another chance if you ever decide to sell any of your land again.Initial Complaint

I entered into a land sales agreement with Liquid Property Group on May 31; 2022. The very next day I saw the land listed at a much higher price on Zillow. The listing was fraudulent stating the buyer can come in and build their new dream home. This is recreational land. I asked to be released from the contract several times. They said that their legal team will protect them and they are moving forward. I get numerous calls from people asking about my land! The listing states a fictitious realtor and no one has any info about this land. They find me on Facebook also. I need to terminate this deal. I am prepared to obtain council. I simply want to let people know that this may happen to them. I don't want to be involved with fraudulent representation of my land.Business Response

Hello, we are sorry to hear that you weren't happy with us purchasing your land. We did in fact cancel the contract on 8/1/2022 as the property did not fit our needs at this time. You should have received a Release and Cancellation letter verifying cancellation. Thanks for working with us and please feel free to reach out to us if you did not receive a copy of the cancellation or if you need anything else.Initial Complaint

I was contacted by a real estate company about an interest in my property. We came to an agreement on the amount, I fulfilled my obligations as to submitting the necessary documents and having them notarized, and the closing date was met on June 10, 2022. I've provided my bank account information for the Pacific Law Group to wire the complete amount, and have not received any notice or hint from my bank that a deposit has been attempted. I now consider this entire event as fraudulent.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/15) */ As with any real estate transaction we use a title company or law firm. This property was in Georgia and we used a law firm. Unfortunately the wire bounced back from the attorney the first time it was sent. As soon as ****** alerted us of the issue (6/14) we contacted the law firm to help solve the problem. ****** has received the wire at this point and told us she will cancel this complaint. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/06/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) The closure of the property occurred Friday June 10, 2022. Monday June 13, 2022, I had no transaction, no attempt to wire the money (per the agreement) in my account after 5pm. Immediately I panicked. I could not get in touch with anyone (it was after business hours), so I emailed everyone involved and I was asked to give a review of the transaction on the BBB website..my review reflected my worst fears, that I was scammed out of my property...this was proven to be a true mistake. Apparently my bank account number wasn't interpreted correctly, therefore, no transaction happened; as soon as this entire set of events transpired, the actions necessary to correct the mistakes were achieved, and I now have the funds, as promised. I accept the response and will continue to do business with this law firm.Initial Complaint
