I want to share my moving experience with you. I googled moving companies at an affordable rate and came across a few companies. I requested quotes from them but *** was quick to respond. My move in date was Tuesday August 13th, so I went with *** thinking it was the best affordable option. ****** was very communicative and friendly and helped in my decision making.The movers arrived at my apartment on **************************************** at 2:40pm and finished loading up at 3:15pm. The only large/heavy items were my sofa and queen bed. The rest of things were 5 large and medium artificial plants, a chest of drawers on wheels and a wooden footlocker. The did forget a large and heavy plant. My moving destination was less than a mile away at ***********************. Both apartments on the first floor and two minutes apart. The time for unloading was just 20 minutes. It was a very light move but I was too tired from working overnight to do this with a UHaul. My initial thought was that I would need only to spend roughly $300, including the (minimum) two at $129 x2. However, I was charged $567. I didnt understand was meant by the drive back charges, etc until after the fact. I wanted to leave a cash tip for the guys but I was so tired and forgot. Im fortunate to have done so as the financial crunch really hit me hard soon after. This was not fair to me.Please ask yourself if this is good honest business practice. I chose *** because I was happy with the response time and what I thought was a great and affordable rate. I was disappointed. I wish the exact total costs were communicated with clarity and any discount offers were made. There was a $100 discount on the website. I didnt know this because I went straight off of ****** to contact you.I dont know what can be done now that would make me feel better but please take my situation into consideration.

Why am I not surprised that you would say this? If it was indeed communicated as you say, then why was I very shocked when the driver showed me the invoice? Because you are lying.I see a lot of people in passing where I work and around my complex. I will advise not to do business with your moving company. I have been very down since that day because I was robbed. You know this is wrong for a very small move. Plus, I had to load up an item that they forgot. You cant even offer some sort of compensation. I truly regret ever using you.

I felt that it was right to leave a review since Big Boys has totally earned it. Big Boys Moving had moved my home a few weeks ago, and when compared to the last time I moved with a different moving company, these guys got it done much more efficiently. The movers they had sent were some of the nicest and most trusting people I have ever had moving my items before. Not only that, but they had also sent a huge moving truck which helped out a lot because I ended up having more items than I thought at first. The movers showed up right on time and completely finished the move just around the time that I was expecting. I typically get nervous every time that me and my family have to move due to my job, but Big Boys made the process so much easier for me. Besides the move itself, the office staff was very generous in assuring me that the move would go smoothly. They were very responsive to the many questions I had for them, and in all they made me feel relieved. Again, thank you Big Boys for all that you have done the last few weeks. You guys have totally earned my respect and this review!

Big Boys Moving was by far the best moving company that i've worked with over the past 20 years. I have moved homes 5 times throughout my life, and these guys made the process a whole lot easier. The movers were very polite when moving my furniture. they also made sure to be careful with the new floors i put in my home. In all, if you're trying to find a moving company that is actually trustworthy, then you have to move with Big Boys

Big Boys Moving, you guys helped me so much. This company had quoted me $100 less than the 2 other moving companies I contacted. They were extremely professional over the phone and made my week a lot less stressful. They told me my move was going to last 7 hours, but they went so much faster and it only lasted 5 hours. Im genuinely so thankful that the office representatives were so nice and professional. The movers also did an OUTSTANDING job at keeping my items safe.
