This is a racket and scam. People are being forced to pay for parking fees due to their poor process causing most people to not be able to use their apps or machines appropriately or timely. Later to find out someone is right at the site almost exactly at the time your parking expires to charge excessive parking fees plus late fees when you are disputing the charges. I foresee this business being sued at some point and I will gladly be a part of a class action suit. Contacting my lawyer soon.On 4/25/25 we arrived in *********, ** and parked in the lot next to the ****** we rented. We were offered to pay for 24 hr parking after taking a screenshot of the ** code for $55 on a parkmobile app. The next day, we tried to pay for the parking but weren't successful after multiple attempts. When we returned late that night, we were able to pay for 12 hr parking after spending over an hour putting the information in repeatedly to pay for parking which now was the same price of $55 for 12 hours instead of 24 hour parking. I almost gave up but was worried we would get towed so fought it despite being very late and having to fight it for over an hour. in order to get it paid for. I should have done that earlier but didn't think much of it since it wasn't allowing me to pay. We went have a good time downtown and did not return to the ****** until that evening, so it was late when I was finally able to do so. Overall I paid $165 to park for 60 hours to then find out they charged an additional $200 more dollars to cover the time I wasn't able to use the app to get the parking fees covered in a timely manner. Not sure why they feel $365 is an appropriate fee to park for 60 hours. These charges are outrageous, excessive and are extortion. Shame on this business and their immoral tactics to gain wages on their sneaky and poor business tactics. I know they will eventually get caught and owe alot of people a refund. Theres a special place for people that conduct business this way.Initial Complaint

I paid for parking in one of their lots via the app but utilized an old plate on my account. As a result, I received a $50 parking notice. After sending them a receipt from the parking that I paid for and after explaining the situation in full, 717 parking still refused to void my parking notice.Initial Complaint

On 4/19/2025 at 5:56pm i received a parking notice of non payment, demanding that I pay 65$ per reference# **********. This is a mistake because I already paid for parking as seen in the screenshot that ive attached from the 717parking app at 6:13PM. Some error caused the app to post payment for my other car plate rather than the car I had parked. Both are my cars and both are on my 717app account (see attachment). I spoke to the company representative at the lot who promised that the company would cancel the notice if I emailed them. Which is exactly what I did and the response I got was a standard template response telling me they won't fix it. I called and no one answered. I left a voice mail and no one has gotten back to me. I sent another email and wrote a BBB review. I ask that the unfair and incorrect notice of non payment be canceled as payment has already been made as seen in the attachments.Initial Complaint

I purchased parking from the establishment to go on a cruise. Parking was purchased online and receipt sent to my email. Parked at the lot and when I came back from my cruise, I found out my card had been towed. (March *****, 2025). Approximately $400 in towing charges plus the amount I paid to park. I have reached out to this company approximately ten times leaving voice messages and emailed them twice explaining the situation. No response.Initial Complaint

Good Day,The attached documents are to serve as a historical timeline. I have also called numerous times. I am doubtful that the 717 teams are ignoring me. I was improperly towed today (04/14/2025)Upon viewing my app, I see that there was no history of payment nor lot location (pic 717_010) so on my end, the consumer view, I do not have any history of what lot I paid for. I purchased 717 for the other nearby lot to *******. I had no history of what lot I paid for. Without the history of LOT, I don't know what location I paid for. The actions were a matter of near feet, a second guess, and a employee walking towards my vehicle, then I drove my vehicle across the street to the other lot to save myself a conversation with the parking lot attendee whom walks in directions of cars to be ticketed, I moved my vehicle due to me not being able to view the app.Initial Complaint

To whom it may concern,I was recently ticketed in a 717 lot after only being there for a few minutes. I parked my car in the lot and went over to a pay station to pay for the spot. However, after seeing the price, I decided I was no longer going to park in this lot because I did not have the funds to do so. I walk back over to my car to leave the lot only to find a ticket for $70.00 after only being parked for a couple of minutes. I found the man who had given me the ticket. He was very condescending and rude, saying how "this is not his problem" and how "I was parked for 3 minutes and needed to pay the ticket". He even went as far as to say that "these tickets give him commission" which is the reason why he gave me a ticket in the first place. This is absolutely ridiculous as I was only parked for 3 minutes in the lot and the employee stated that this is how the company operates. I am appealing this ticket since I was directly targeted by this company and scammed for profit. This company is rated 1.5 stars on ****** reviews and this is the reasoning why. Many other customers are being scammed for money and I believe it isnt right for a company to be doing this.Initial Complaint

I parked in a designated 717 lot. I paid using the app. The app documented I had paid and had an active parking session. I even received a text reminder alerting me hours later that it was about to expire. I have documentation I was charged on my credit card. Including screen shots of my paid session, zone number and license plate. The app deleted my history of parking and I received a $40 ticket. After paying the $10. I sent a bank screen shot of that as well. They took my money. They are a fraudulent company. They scam customers and have a shell of an app and customer service team. Im fighting the charges - proving I paid, and they are not dropping it. In my experience thats fraud. Taking money from people and scamming them for more. They need to be audited and brought to court. Im sure Im not the only customer this is happening to. Imagine how much money this adds up to!! A lot!Initial Complaint

On March 28, I paid for 24hrs of parking starting at 5:22pm. At 6:24pm, they fined me for not paying parking.I emailed them screenshots of the ticket they left and my parking receipt, but the denied my claim and are asking me to pay again. I already paid $50.49 to them, and they are wanting now more than that. I have asked them to re look at the time stamps, but this seems very shady that they deny the despute with clear time stamps showing that the parking was paid.Customer Answer

I went to the ******************************* and parked in a 717 parking lot. There are signs in this parking lot that says pay by app or at the pay machine. I paid my fee at the only machine in the area of the parking lot. I paid this parking fee at 9:46am for 2 hours. At 10:07am a ticket was put on my car for $50.00. I contacted 717 they said the machine belonged to the City of ***** and they have no affiliation with them. So I asked why would they have signs about paying at a machine if they don't have a machine to pay, and why is the ************* and 717 parking in the same parking area but they is no signs that say whom own what spaces. I haven't received a response. This is a deceit and fraud.Initial Complaint

I was at the ************. Parking lot. I am handicap and pulled in the only handicap spot that was there. The striped lines on the right and on the left was a truck that was pulled over the line on myside. The car in front of the handicap spot was pulled up over the line in front. In order to park I had to pull over to the right a little bit on the yellow stripped lines to allow handicap person to get out to the vehicle.I had seen the Parking Notice on my car #********** and called on 3/26/25 when I had gotten in the car. I then emailed since they did not answer. No response and called and emailed on 3/27/25 still nothing. I then called and left message with the prompt. Today 4/1/25 I called and emailed again because they raised the ticket to *****. I already paid day I parked there have the receipt for that (*****). I do not believe that they put notice on my car when two others had NO ticket for pulling over the line front and side. My handicap tag was in the window always is.
