I purchased a vehicle from these people on May 28 2022. On this date I test drove the car and found it had a bad noise and actually turned the car down. The manager took it to the shop, brought it back and said all it needed was a tire and that they would fix it. So they said they ordered a tire and all was supposed to OK. So after we signed the papers and left we stopped to get lunch, the car would not go into park. I tried over and over with no luck so we went straight back to the dealer immediately. I found the sales person that made the deal and took him out to show him the problem. He again took it back to the shop. When he came back he told me they ordered a part and would make all repairs when the tire and shifter came in. This was May 28th on May 29th I brought it back again due to I could not park the car without leaving it on. I found out at this time the customer service person did not know anything about the shifter and had not ordered any parts at all. At this time I wanted to return the car, and they have a 5 day return policy but they explained to me with a guarantee they would fix the problem. Again on Friday the 3rd I returned the car for repairs. I got the car back and took it on a trip to ************ where at my very first stop found that the shifter was still not working and the bad noise was still there. Again I took it back Tuesday the 14th where they again was supposed to make repairs but the noise is still there and now they have put some pretty bad scratches on the right fender. I have not drove it enough to know if the shifter is repaired but it still has a bad noise. I tried calling to talk to a manager on Tuesday June 14the at 2PM after I got home but have not gotten a call back it is now Wed the 15th at 245PM. I really want this car it is the one I have been looking for but they need to make it right. Please helpBusiness Response

We take concerns such as yours very seriously.According to our records you have been working with our customer service department to repair the tire (as agree at the time of purchase) and the shifter. After repairs, our service department gave the vehicle a clean **** of health on June 21; however, you were not satisfied with the work. We offered to have a technician ride with you to better understand what you were hearing in the vehicle. We reached out again and set up ride with the technician for June 27, but apparently your schedule was too tight to complete the ride-along. We reached out again and are now sending you to a service shop to get a diagnostic test. If the diagnostic test determines that there are issues that we originally addressed, we will work with you to reimburse you for any issues we are responsible for repairing.

I am rejecting this response because:
It is not because I am not satisfied with the work performed but that it is still not repaired. I have an appointment schedule for 6/30 at 8:45AM at which time I have to pay to get the car diagnosed, take the diagnosis back to the company then get the repairs needed after all this, this after a month of taking it back and forth while still dealing with the issue. Also to say the car was sold as is has nothing to do with the sales manager telling me the car would be repaired as to get me to buy it. As I said after the test drive I told the Sales manager and salesman I did not want the car with the noise it was making. It is poor business to lead someone on to get the sale and then act like you never made the promises that were made.

The diagnostic test performed by the third-party service center showed that the shifter assembly that detects when the vehicle is in Park was not sending the signal on occasion. The issue is covered under warranty and Off Lease Only has approved the repairs and will reimburse the deductible cost. I purchased a 2018 ats Cadillac from offlease (*****) on May 16 2022 , i test drove the car Which the sales rep that went for a test drive also realized there was a mild vibration and when we went over the speed bumps it had a noise towards the front end we thought it was something to do with the tires , I then took the car off the lot to the sales rep and he told me to bring the car to get checked out the next day and if it was something minor it will be fixed if it was something major I had 5 days to return the vehicle. I then called customer service to get an appointment to bring the car in for a service check they then told me they were very busy but they were going to make me an appointment for Friday I took the car in at 8:30am and picked it up at 6pm I spoke to customer rep 3 times to make sure that the vibration went away she told me the car tires needed to be balanced so they took it to a nearby shop to get it balanced and then called her again to make sure everything was complete she told me the car was ready for pick up and that they put a computer to the car and no codes came out. I then picked up the car it was still doing the same vibration and the same noise in the front end I was very upset that I was told that everything was fixed and back to normal which it wasnt I called and told them again and they didnt have an appointment for service till a week later I ended up taking the car to ************** to check what was going on with the car they told me it was the torque converter just by doing the test drive then put the car on a lift and realized the shocks had to be replaced they also found the rear control arms cracked with cracked bushings also the ball joints had excessive play and the car had 4mm of brakes so at this point I felt like mines and my child life was in danger driving the car . According to our records, and as you stated, you brought the vehicle back in on 5/16/2022 in connection with an issue with the tires and the tires were sent out to be balanced; however, that did not solve the issue. We then provided a new repair appointment for the following week. In the interim period you decided to take the car into the ************** repair shop for an assessment. Prior to any review or approval of the repair recommendations by Off Lease Only, you decided to have the repair work completed at Ocean Cadillacs retail rates. After reviewing the invoice you provided, it is our understanding that the repair of the torque converter,which was covered under warranty, resolved the vibration issue. The other services were additional recommendations by **************, but not immediate safety concerns.
As you know all of the cars we sell are pre-owned and sold AS IS. We strive to provide excellent customer service and we work with all of our customers when issues arise. Unfortunately,we were not able to review or approve of the additional repairs or see the diagnostic tests performed related to the additional work you had ************** complete. I have purchased several vehicles (over seven vehicles) from OffLease Only-******* in the last two years and will focus my complaint on the warranty cancellation department. On 28 January 2022, I emailed the Offlease **************************** at *********************************** to cancel my warranties and GAP on five vehicles as I was dissatisfied with the dealership on other matters. 23 February 2022 stating they processed all cancellations and to allow 6-8 weeks for the refund checks to be sent to the respective vehicle loan providers. The refund amounts provided correlated with a number they provided but not with the vehicles they pertained to, which added confusion.On 4 May 2022 I emailed them stating that 3 of 5 vehicle refunds were complete but wanted to know the status of the remaining two as 9 weeks have elapsed. The remaining refunds were for the 2018 Pacifica ($4,218.43) and the 2018 *** 5 Series ($4,905.11) vehicles.On 5 May 2022 they replied and stated the check was mailed out on 27 Apr 2022 to the loan provider, Ally Auto, and provided a copy of check of $4,218.43 intended for the Pacifica. I replied that day stating if I could see the refund check pertaining to the *** 5 series, which should of been sent to ******** I also provided them the paid off letter stating that if the refund hasn't been sent, please send it to me as it was paid off. On 6 May 2022 Offlease Only replied stating they have issued the *** 5 Series $4,905.11 as it was sent out that same morning. I did confirm afterwards that ******* received the check and I am waiting on refund from TD at this time. As for 2018 Pacifica, I emailed Off lease 5 times: 26, 27 May, 1,3,8 June 2022 asking for the status of refund as Ally Auto on 5 different calls stated they didn't receive it. I also provided paid off letter for the Pacifica. Offlease has not responded to any emails to date. It has been more than 4 months from start of this process and haven't received $4,218.43.Business Response

I bought a Mustang with ******. Me falling in love with the car immediately at first glance. I felt I found a great deal. I signed the paperwork a little more costly than expected. But I was willing to pay it for this beauty. I got the keys and headed home. With a grin on my face. Pulling up the my driveway to my surprise, Engine light on. "What?" I just bought this car. Called the company next day they told me they inspect it for me but set an appointment at later day, that is where they got me. They told me Misfire cylinder 3, easy fix and they would handle it. Missed a day of work and "Fixed." Driving home and once again engine light came on. I kept finding more things wrong, passenger side head light not fixed into car so I would see the light bouncing, driver side door switch broken, charging service not working. Told them all these things, again the shop said "these are easy fixes we can take care of it". and then "fixed". And what you know engine light comes on driving back home. Which was of course the final straw. I called immediately telling them to take their car back or switch it out. Which they said they wanted to fix it with no consideration of my request. What they said happened was a blown engine head. which they said they'll "fix it for good" again. 3 Engine problems, 4-5 trips to Offlease Broward and *****. Logical sense tells me even if "fixed" the car is to much trouble and bound to break again. They finally got back to me with an option of appraising the car after fixing it and buying the car back for lesser price (they didn't confirm they would pay it in full or trade it with an equal value car.) Im at a lose of $3,000 down and $7,000 in depreciation. And having to rebuy a new one, as a new transaction, with them or go to another dealer. But since they ran my credit so much and I wasted my $3,000 I'm stuck. I will not recommend Offlease. Do not believe they have good service and cars for that matter since they are sold broken.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:There was more work than just the spark plugs. The whole engine is malfunctioning for simplicity sake. Like I mention In the complaint a blown engine head, problems with driver door, headlights and more. And its been more than a month That youre mechanics try to fix this vehicle and still are not able to. Youre Rep told me today that the car is still messed up. That it still having the misfire, that its still broken. This is your responsibility. This is your problem. And you selling faulty vehicles to people that truly rely on them is disgrace for. Just because you fix the vehicle doesnt mean anything. That is why you should of done after your bought it at auction. I want you to nullify my deal, void it. Buy back your car that you Knowingly sold it broken. And I have complained since day one of the car. And trade it for me for a car of equal value that I purchased and is most importantly reliable.

To whom it may concern I *************************** are filing this against off Lease Only due to them giving me the run around concerning my 2017 ****** Sentra I got my vehicle in March my **** deposit was **** when I first went there I was looking forward to paying **** down unfortunately they told me I had to put down **** then the day that I got the car I was hearing a loud sound on my car which they had acknowledge of because I brought it to their attention they told me that it was gonna make me appointment I had to wait almost 2 months before I was brought in to bring my car in unfortunately my brakes was very bad I was doing construction I had to work in Georgia so therefore I had to drive my car all the way to Georgia with bad brakes on the car that was just given to me so when I came back from Georgia I contacted them because I never got the appointment when I got back they called a self putting brakes on my car unfortunately I have took my car to ****** they could they found a problem which they had changed the brace but the brace was changed without the road was being greased offlease had offered me once I continue to complain about the situation with the car they said it was going to put me into a whole Nother new car I had got music installed into my car from a company ** in *************** I paid $1400 to get my music installed in my car awfullys hat told me to get the music re-moved out the car because they was gonna put me in a whole Nother car I went to offlease on a Tuesday around about 10 AM in the morning and I sat there all the way to 7 PM that night so then the manager ***** has stated to me that they was going to put me into a new car they was trying to run my credit with another bank to get me approved through another bank messing up my credit Stata pulling my credit trying to put me into a whole Nother vehicle they never explain to me that they was going to do that so I had to get my music took out so now that I have took in my music out they decidBusiness Response

I went into off lease only on Friday 5/20 and put down 3000 dollars and I was going to go in the next day to put down another 2000 down making it a total of 5000 dollars down. But then when I woke up Saturday before I went into the store, I decided not to get the car. So, I called them Saturday morning and told them I wanted to cancel my purchase. they do have a 5-day returned policy so when I called the manager, he said he couldn't credit my 3000 dollars he has to email corporate, and they will credit my debit card. But my account is not credited yet and I need it credited since I didn't even drive the car off the lot.Business Response

I purchased a car from the ***** location towards the end of 2021. I have requested a copy of the purchase papers countless times and I am yet to receive it. I purchased the vehicle in September 2019. It had 17k miles. I was told that it had previous front left end damage that was repaired. I was given a CarFax report which clearly stated "NO" under structural damage; only a front left end repair. Given the high amount of miles I drive, the finance manager suggested I purchase an extended warranty which would take effect after my vehicles factory warranty of 60k miles expired so I would have up to 60k addtl miles on the warranty or 84 months.. whichever came first. He pointed out a line at the bottom of my contract that said that the contract takes effect after my warranty is void (expires). I was then told by Jaguar when I went in to get the vehicle serviced that the contract does not extend past the warranty.. only to 60k miles and that the language he pointed out was misleading. Clearly, I would not have purchased a warranty that only covered 60k miles on a vehicle that only had 17k miles when it already had a full manufacturer bumper to bumper warranty to 60k miles... it was literally useless. I called and argued my case with management.. they said it was my word against his and that he was no longer employed there. I ended up giving up and getting a rebate for the remaining balance minus the miles I had put on in already which was roughly only half of what I paid. It also put me in a tough spot of not having an extended warranty which now will cost me 19k to purchase.Due to the ongoing issues Ive been having with the vehicle, I took it to Carmax to get an offer to purchase the vehicle. I was offered well under a fair price for the vehicle. I was told that the offer is so low because the vehicle has prior frame damage. There is a note on the comments section showing that it was announced at auction that there is structural damage and had a prior frame repair. Another dealer would not offer me anything as they also pulled the history and said they can not buy vehicles with frame damage.Business Response
