After I sent my goods to him which include (I have attached receipts of the itemized invoice) he told me he shipped the goods on April 8th 2022. On April 20 2022 I called ****** and he told me he hadn't heard any word from his third party who is the one that was going to go the shipping harbor in ******* and get my goods. We called him back the April 24 and asked if he heard anything from his 3rd party and he said "no word yet and there seems to be a delay". On April 25th he told me that he experienced some issues and he wasn't able to ship my goods on the April 8. This is the first lie. he then told me that it would definitely be in the country (*******) April 28th. My son in jamaica called him on the April 29th and asked about the delay and he said on May 2nd everything would have been sorted out. On May 4th I called him and he told me the same thing that there was a hold up at the shipping doc in *******. He gave me another excuse that May 9th we would receive it and again my son nor my daughter in ******* did not receive the items. He then told me I need to provide receipts of all the items purchased, and I did provide him with them. He explained that the custom officers in ******* are holding on to our goods specifically our 3 TV sets. He never told me why and only said these checks hold *** are random. I gave him all the receipts he requested. He told me on the May 16, that we should look out for a delivery on May 18. STILL NO PACKAGE. Now he has stopped responding to all my calls or text messages. I have attached all receipts of my purchased goods, picture proof of some of our goods that he sent us showing that he received our goods in *******, invoice that he sent showing ** he shipped our items and some screenshots of our phone texts. This man is a LIAR and is involved in a fraudulent business scheme. Please help me. The pictures that say "payment sent to *******" are all the Zelle transfer I made to his daughter who is employed by him.

      Business response

      06/02/2022

I am ***********************, CEO of Package Plus Xpress, a ******* corporation.  Upon referral by a previous customer we engaged ************************************* to provide the service of consolidation, shipping, clearing and delivering her shipment to *******.  In or about January of this year, *************** ****** commenced the ordering and sending to our warehouse of various items for consolidation.  Additionally,  she utilized our purchasing service to obtain certain grocery items to be included in the shipment.  At the very outset, **************************** was told to provide invoices for each item she had sent to us, as customs in ******* will need them for assessment of duty.  These receipts were not received timely, as we have proof of the date they were finally sent.

The initial date scheduled for shipment was not met as the shipping line had dispatched a day early, leaving behind several containers that were to be loaded.  The shipment was sent a week later.  This was communicated to the customer.  Upon commencement of the clearance process in *******, receipts and invoices were requested by the customs inspectors.  As a result of these not being readily available (as we had previously requested), the entire shipment was detained pending receipt of invoices and processing formal entry.  The process continues as of the time of writing of this response.  This too has been communicated to the ****************************, the consignee and some third-party who I was told was the son of the sender.

For the record, we are consolidators that provide door to door shipping, re-shipping and courier services to *******. It is my belief that all accusations of lying is borne out of frustration of the length of time involved in the completion of the process.  In summary, theses are the facts.  1.  Shipment was made on April 29, 2022 (due to space availability and ship's schedule)  2.  Goods were available for stripping and clearing about a the 6th of May, 2022. 3.  Goods are currently being held *************** bonded warehouse in *********** under customs detention, pending completion of re-inspection, inventory, full declaration and formal entry (due to preliminary value assessment)

Customer has stated to me that in all her years of shipping, that this has never happened to her and that we are lying and making this up.  I told her that she is able to verify the voracity of  this process with any customs department as it is the prerogative of customs to request this process.  We have been fully transparent with providing information to **************************** from the day we first received items from her at our warehouse to this day.
