I purchased a mini silver dapple doxy, which just turned 8 yrs last month. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My puppy was healthy and I received all the paperwork and receipts when I picked her up. Jessica also told me if I had any questions to call her to discuss. I've never paid for a dog but this was a retirement gift and the exact puppy I'd wanted for years. I named her Elsa and she's been a wonderful pet and guard dog as little as she is, but I had a good experience with Shady Acre's. ****** **

Our Min Pin fur baby, Frankie (Haven) is now almost 20 months old since buying her from Shady Acres Kennels. Since taking her home she has bonded very closely with my wife and me. She loves to snuggle with my wife with a bonding we haven't experienced with other Min Pin's we've owned. Because of the upbringing Frankie had in a religious family, it is evident that each puppy there are well taken care of. We made a promise to Jessie that as Frankie grows we will keep in touch and send her photos. God has blessed ShadyAcresKennels, Jessie and her family, and Frankie who is my wife's guardian angle because of the unconditional love Frankie gives to her. Jessie, we love you and your family. To save so many other people the heartache that we went through, please do NOT do business with Shady Acre Kennels. I dealt with Jessica Rhodes, if you can call it that. Initially, she was polite until after I put down my deposit. Would not answer any health questions about the puppy “Happy”, wouldn’t send any updated pics/ video (had just the one on puppies.com). No name of vet/ health info. She just cut and paste generic info from her website saying the pup was healthy and acted agitated that I was persistent in getting some answers specific to the puppy in which we were interested. No specifics! I left polite texts, phone calls, email. She would never get on a call with me. We put down $300 and filled out forms to hold our pup (she sent this to us without any instructions after she told us that sending $300 holds the pup, but then said “we never consider a puppy reserved or sold until we receive the paperwork back”, which we did to demonstrate our commitment. Gave me such a hard time about meeting for 2 weeks. Then told us she was showing our pup to someone else on the same day she was taking care of animals in a storm but her partner said (in writing) she was out making puppy deliveries and could not get back to us that day about anything including the meeting place we were to drive to over 4.5 hours to take the pup (and offered a refund in writing, to which we sadly agreed as this was getting more suspect)- all of this on the same day? We care about this puppy we were bringing into our home and had been preparing from the moment we put down the deposit, which she lied about returning. We’ll tell everyone until she makes this right! I have proof of this all in writing and can provide it (emails, texts, receipt of payment and her filled out paperwork). Only cares about money. Why else would she be mad about answering health questions for a little pup? We’ll be contacting other appropriate organizations to look into this further. She needs to make this right.

I bought 2 brothers ( maltipoos) September 2019 they were 7 months old I bought them without seen them but that was my choice. I met a very nice lady halfway and was handed 2 beautiful puppies with complete health records they were very clean and groomed. I had a very good experience and would recommend this business. The puppies are doing great 2 years later.
