Bought 2000$ worth of flooring from ***********,,manufacturer is Lifeproof by Home legend,we paid a licensed contractor 2500$ to install it, within 2wks - mnth cracks,chips started appearing,,they blamed it on contractors ,,we reached an agreement over 2 months ago & haven't heard nor seen anything! I would like to have a FULL REFUND on my hard earned money that they keep postponing about

Purchased Life Proof , 100%Lifeproof. 0% worries High Traffic Rigid Core Vinyl plank flooring. (Homelegend is manufacturer) After the floor was installed , I vacuumed ,started mopping and noticed shiny spots that were showing up on the planks. As I continued to mop I began to notice there was a repeat in the pattern of these shiny spots and shiny smears throughout my entire floor. Couldn't get whatever this stuff is off my floor. The residue won't come off and attracts dust and dirt. Contacted the company, filed a warranty claim, was denied, saying it was site related, not due to manufacturing defect. Its a repeated pattern on all planks, a machine manufacturing this plank had to of repeated the pattern, I can't get it off!DON'T BUY this product. Home Legend does NOT stand behind their warranty stating if your claim is associated with manufacturing defects-Now I'm stuck with a dirty looking floor !Home Legend Response

Home Legend has reviewed this claim and has deemed that there is no manufacturing issue. Per the inspection report & pictures the residue spans multiple planks (crosses the seams) which indicates a localized condition or site related. You are welcome to get a second opinion by contacting an independent, certified flooring inspector. We only accept reports from inspectors found on NICFI.org, *****.org, *****.org, floordetective.com or CFIU.org. If the certified inspector finds a warranty-covered issue with the flooring, please submit a copy of the findings to the retailer who will submit to Home Legend to have your claim re-evaluated.Review from Anthony D

Purchased their Strand Bamboo flooring and March of 2022,I would leave no stars if I had a choice!Had it installed in August 2022 and noticed the flooring starting to bubble, discolor and and the top layer started to peel up and flake away. It looks terrible. We bought the flooring through ********** and they referred us to a company that would provide an extensive examination of the flooring.After the results were back in, we were informed by Home legend that the claim mgr denied our claim to have the flooring replaced. The report indicated that it was from water having fallen on the flooring. Tell me what kind of wood or bamboo flooring would be made deficient when water falls on it? Homelegend shouldn't be selling this product or at the very least tell people not to install it in kitchens or other wet areas. Its extremely upsetting that in my email response to *********************** of Homelegend over the report, no type of response/resolution has been offered. DO NOT deal with this company and this type of flooring.****************Home Legend Response

********************, After re-reviewing this inspection report your concerns were not from water drops on the floor, a few drops of water on top of the floor will not cause this type of damage. Topical exposure to moisture will appear different than subfloor exposure to moisture. In this case it appears that there is moisture trapped under the floor. Most likely trapped between the floor & the underlayment. The floor is saturated. The moisture is rising through the planks causing the discoloration and the bubbles in the finish as it tries to push through. Since the damage is localized to one area you should check to see where the moisture is coming from. You are welcome to get a second opinion by contracting an independent, certified flooring inspector. We only accept reports from inspectors found on *********, *********, *********, floordetective.com or Floorreport.com. If the certified inspector finds a warranty-covered issue with the flooring, please submit a copy of the findings to our claims department to have your claim reevaluated.
