It been 3 months and I still havent received my reimbursement checks. I have got the check reissued twice and still havent received anything . Every time I called customer service the representative just say give it more time or we can void the check and reissue it. It doesnt take weeks to months to receive mail. I honestly believe they arent sending out my checks and they are a scam.

Terrible customer service. Wasted 2 1/2 hours going in circles, being transferred and no one knows what is going on. Literally was holding on appeals line for over an hour and never heard a human...so I hung up very frustrated. Regarding my in network dentists, a lot of them on the list are not working at the facilities Dental Dentist site says they are! This company is a mad house and I wish I had my old insurance company back. We had no choice with hubby's new job or they would be kicked to the curb!!!

**************** is by far the worst I have ever encountered. Do yourself a huge favor and get dental insurance elsewhere.

I'm only putting one star cuz I think you need at least 1, I would put 0. Absolute horeshit!!! DO NOT APPLY FOR THESE PEOPLE, they are an absolute scam. I feel like taking them to small claims court and I will. I've waited for 6 months to be reimbursed the 80% like they promise and an insurance representative "hooked me up" with them so be wary of them too. They dodge your calls, hang up on you, put you on hold for 2+ hours, and then tell you you've called the wrong department and they have no information on the correct department. How do they even keep employees if they're such a scam, oh I know by running off with all that money! I even called one number I was given and it went out to some random person in *****. Bottom line f*** em see you in court. Now I've payed $250 extra on my invisalign and the total price of that too.

So tired of the double speak and gaslighting. My husband had to have a tooth pulled. It was supposedly going to be covered 100% but when we got the bill, they only paid for part of the procedure. The literal extraction was paid. The exam and the xray done to get the extraction were not. No ethical dentist is going to pull a tooth without even examining you or doing an xray. I'm quite certain Delta Dental knows this. But according to the RUDE person I spoke with who continually just kept gaslighting me, they only pay for exams and x-rays according to their office visit frequency EVEN if you have a dental emergency in between. So, if we wanted it covered 100%, we apparently needed to leave the painful and infected tooth in place for another 15 months until they were going to approve a new xtay and exam. And then THAT xray and exam would take the place of the xray and exam for your next cleaning. Apparently you get one or the other, not both. I would respect them a lot more if they would just admit they aren't going to cover most of the extraction. But they insist on gaslighting you and saying they DID cover it because they covered the one code related to the extraction only. That's like having surgery and saying they will cover removing the tumor, but not the exams, xrays, doctor bills, anesthesia or anything else related to the treatment. Just the moment where they actually cut it out. This kind of doublespeak may work on fools, but no person with half a brain would call that "covering" an extraction when they know full well t You can't just walk into a dentist and say "Pull tooth number 19" and they do it. They will require an exam and xrays. Delta needs to just tell the truth and admit they will NOT cover that part of the treatment. We traded up and bought the most expensive plan this year thinking the coverage issues were because we had a mid level plan. Apparently not. And their member portal is a joke, so that's no help either. Horrible way to do business.

I am on two dental insurance plans from Delta Dental - a primary and secondary. I had an implant and paid $5000. I submitted for reimbursement - the delta dental secondary paid their share, but my primary did not. Delta of NY claimed the form was missing information and didnt pay, yet delta did paid the secondary (submitted with the same form). After resubmitting the claim form with the missing information, Delta Delta of New York again refused to pay out, claiming that the dentist info was incorrect (it wasn't). After many back and forths on the phone and by mail, eventually my dentist contacts Delta directly and says Delta admitted they screwed up, but the claim was past a year and now to get paid, I have to submit an appeal. We submit the appeal electronically through their archaic system, they claim they never got it (we have a screenshot showing we did). We resubmit, finally hear back. They rejected it because the claim was older than 6 months. ***. They delayed delayed delayed, and now claim its too late. This is a completely unethical company that did everything they could to delay, hoping we would give up or some ever changing deadline would pass. This is their business strategy and they need to be investigated. Excuse after excuse, roadblock after roadblock to get people to give up the money to which they are entitled for paying Delta premiums. If you are a company considering Delta Dental, DO NOT! They will scam your employees and cheat them out of the money they are due.

I would give delta dental a 0 if I could they dont want to pay for anything customer service is horrible why do I have to pay for service upfront at dentist and wait to see if delta will decide to cover it or not then wait for them to send a check in the mail what is the use of paying for the insurance if you not being covered

Had dental insurance through a previous employer. I had to submit a claim due to an error in the dental teams billing office. I have mailed the claim in 3 times! All information was included initially, got it back stating it wasnt filled out correctly (it was, they wanted the provider portion filled out and signed. I am the patient, I dont fill that out.) Sent in the corrected form. No response. I call, got a good customer service *** but claims theres no record of either form in the system. Mailed it in for a THIRD TIME and still not response. Supposedly you can do all this on their patient portal not sure which one theyre talking about because the portal I have access to isnt even correct. Awful service.

Delta Dental of KY has the worse customer service representative I have ever speak with. I called to find out information on coverage on an emergency extraction and treatment of a tooth and the customer service representative was upset, on the defensive all the time, did never answer my questions and I could not figure out what I needed to do.

I have paid my premiums to Delta Dental for 3 years. They refuse to pay 50% for a root canal.3 years, $70 per month, and they paid out a lousy $300 for a $2000 claim. THEY ARE CROOKS and a SCAM.I cancelled my "insurance" today and will put it in a bank account for ********************** care instead. What a disgusting company.I would give zero stars if possible.
