Georgia Department Of Community Affairs allowed Invitation Homes to faslefully evict me and my family 5/16/23 for (April2023) "PAID" rent. *** even paid Invitation homes three more payments of $1691 for rent even after I was not living on the premises. I resided at the residents from 3/25/2020 until 5/16/2023 and the company has always received a rent payment from *** on time . I reached out to Community Affairs several times before a eviction was placed on my public record due to being a single mother of 7 kids with **********.

As a Person with Disabilities, I can live independently in my community - as long as I have the support services I need. In this year of 2024, while it seems society has made so much progress toward inclusion, it baffles me that I have to fight for the right to live independently in the community of my choice. Take away agoraphobia today, take away disability today - I would proceed with my move-in and with just the normal arrangements of establishing a utility account, connecting my Internet and ***** services, etc. But as a Person with Disabilities, it is different for me. I am different. And it is ok that I am different. Nonetheless:1. My disability should not prevent me from being able to live in the community of my choice. 2. My disability should not prevent me from being fully functional and thriving in the community of my choice. 3. My disability should not hinder me from using my Housing Choice Voucher to live in the housing of my choice. 4. My disability should not disqualify me from equally accessing Federal subsidies that can make affordable housing attainable. IS THIS FAIR HOUSING? DOES IT SOUND FAIR? ??On October 8, 2024, Sister ****, received an incoming call from a Georgia Department of Community Affairs (G-DCA) staff. And this recording is part of the conversation that took place. **************************** PLEASE WATCH MY 09/11/2024 MEETING WITH GA-DCA STAFF WHERE I AM REQUESTING A 2ND AND SEPARATE UNIT FOR MY LIVE-IN-AIDE, AS A REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION - DUE TO MY DISABILITY OF AGORAPHOBIA: ************************************************ * GA-DCA'S DECISION: DENIED PLEASE WATCH MY 09/26/2024 HEARING APPEALING THE DENIAL OF MY REQUEST FOR REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION: FULL VIDEO: ************************************************ SHORT CLIP: ***************************************************GA-DCA'S DECISION: DENIED GA-DCA violated Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 *********************** and violated the Fair Housing Act

This company is very unprofessional. My name was selectee from the waitlist to apply for housing assistance. They sent me an application and I filled out the application and sent in the documents that was requested. They claimed they didnt receive it so i sent in mine and my kids documents once again. I got a receipt from the post office when I sent the documents this time. Ok cool. I was emailing with a housing specialist at this point in the process. She then emailed me a congratulations your approved email with the briefing acknowledgement video and paperwork to sign. That was on a Friday. She told me all i was waiting for now is my voucher. On monday, I received a letter from her saying i was off the waitlist and i can reapply. Huh?! How?! All i was waiting for was the voucher. I have emails and voicemails as proof. This is the worst company *** ever had to communicate with in my entire life. Ive since then tried to contact my housing specialist to see whats going on and she has not answered sny of my calls or voicemails. Or emails. I also have brrn up to the office and still havent brrn ablr to speak with a supervisor. *** also called customer service and left many requests to speak with a supervisor and nobody has called. I was told by customer support that the housing specialist says i didnt send in my social security card. Which is a lie. How was I allowed to get all the way to the end without a social. And when did you so call request this social? This is absolutely ridiculous. They have all the emails and evidence but they are still allowed to do this to people? This company needs better supervisors. That will actually get things done and do the right thing. Nobody will contact me even after all this but I would like to let people know hoe they operate.

I was contacted by this organization late last Nov. to assist with my electric bill. I don't know how the company obtained my personal number but again they reached out to me on several occasions via emails and phone calls to inform me funds were available for GA ***** customers to receive assistance with the electric bill regardless of income and zipcode. I initially thought it was a SCAM and decided to contact GA ***** company to confirm if this was a legit program since they (Georgia Department of Community Affairs) referenced GA ***** as the company they were working with to assist their customers. I was advised from a GA ***** rep that the program was indeed legal and I should apply. I decided to apply and that was over 5 months ago. I was asked to upload my personal information ie; power bill, ID, lease and SSC and other documents. Each time I try to contact this organization to check the status of the application, I'm on the phone holding for over an hour. I am NEVER able to speak with anyone and I don't have time for that. No one can assist me at GA ***** either. I'm provided the same number to contact and that's not enough. I just want to know what was the status or outcome regarding my application. I feel like I've been scammed or my information was used to provide to whomever the funds are coming from to say, hey we've helped this household but monies are being withheld because it was not applied to my bill. Again, this company reached out to me! Unprofessional and scammer like tendencies!
