Purchased a pair of headlights on 29 AUG 24 on sale for $1530. Wasn't able to install them immediately, meaning problems weren't identified during the 30 day return window. Discovered the performance of the headlights was not acceptable and one of the headlights could not be adjusted sufficiently to have the aiming meet ***** standards. Attempted to return them and they refuse to even acknowledge that their is a possible fault that would require a warranty replacement.Initial Complaint

I purchased Morimoto brand headlights from a seller on ******, they were defective , Morimoto replaced them, within a short time they went bad again, this time Morimoto said to provide a video, which I did, but then they said provide the original receipt. I provided the receipt from the first time they replaced them, and the original receipt. So I provided two forms of proof with dates . Then they said I had to work through the seller since they were purchased through a seller on ******, these were purchased in Nov of 2022, they have a five year warranty. I have not had a pair last more than six months without a problem The seller and ****** said its a manufacturer warranty. I have included the statement from the ****** representative. Now they will not warranty their product and are putting me through a bunch of nonsense. I purchased these when I lived in ******** and I have since moved. So the original address shows my old address. I have the emails from the previous transaction showing they accepted responsibility and I didnt have to go to the seller, since its a manufacturer warranty on their product .Now they have continually provided defective headlights and will not stand behind their written warranty. They set the precedent the first time they replaced them now they have breached their own policy. This is a safety issueInitial Complaint

I purchased a product from this vendor and it did not work. Requested refund from vendor who asked I send a video to show product not working. I sent video and they approved refund. I sent product back with their return label and they never issued a refund. Item was confirmed received by vendor and ****** stated they needed 10 to 13 business days to process refund. Its been almost a month since they received item and no refund. Ive sent them three emails asking to process the refund and they never reply. I have copies of every email correspondence showing they approved the refund and received the product. I just want the vendor to issue the refund for the 3rd brake light.Initial Complaint

Purchased **** Bronco (2021+) XRGB LED Headlights in May 2023 (Order #MM-960845) with 5 years warranty. LED showed significant dead pixels in Feb 2024, so I asked to replace and that was granted. Now, the replacement also shows dead pixels. Requested another change on June 16thn 2024 and sent the required pictures showing the issue as required, but now none of my emails are being returned. When I call for support, which I have done 5 times, I get told that they received the information but I never get any communication back. My preference at this point is to either get a replacement, or get a different and more reliable product since this have already failed twice. It is under warranty, but company is not responding and not honoring their commitments.Initial Complaint

I purchased the Morimoto XB headlights for my 2019 F250 Super Duty. The provided and published installation guide details how to connect these headlights, when the factory lights on the truck are halogen. This process requires providing a 12v power supply for the LED daytime running lights function to work. The installation guide and has you connect an "add a circuit" fused wire on the power distribution / fuse box under the hood. When this step is done the box lid will no longer close completely. I followed the installation steps and subsequently water was able to get into this box, cause corrosion issues on a relay circuit that affected my air conditioning system. When the truck was at **** to be fixed they noticed this modification. My extended warranty refused to pay for the repair to my truck due to the lid on this box not being closed. I had to pay $5700 out of pocket to have the power distribution / fuse box replaced, which took nearly 21 hours of diesel mechanic labor. Morimoto has refused to make this right or even discuss with me a resolution. Morimoto claims on their website that their products will not void warranty, and they openly publish this installation guide.Initial Complaint

I ordered advertised Plug and Play (no physical modifications required) ** Hybrid LED headlights for my 2020 Silverado 3500HD LT ************** on 6/5/2024. Upon receipt and installation, the passenger front turn signal was unresponsive while passenger side mirror and rear turn signals flashed rapidly. I had numerous interactions w/ support to test impact when swapping turn signal bulbs, replacing fuses, replacing bulbs, etc. with no change in turn signal response. On 6/19/2024, a replacement passenger headlight was sent at my expense until the first passenger headlight was returned. The replacement headlight reacted the same. In the meantime, Morimotor encouraged participation in a rebate program where you send in original equipment and get paid $190. I was eventually reimbursed for the replacement headlight and rebate submission; however, no action taken as advised from Morimotor resolved the turn signal failure. Although there has been no modification to the factory headlight system, Morimotor declared the issue was with my vehicle and wanted me to return their product for a full refund; however, I they would not replace my original equipment sent in to the rebate program at their encouragement. I am requesting to be made whole by reinbursement of the cost of the ** Hybrid as well as the cost of after market replacement headlight assemblies for my truck to return it to street legal condition. As an alternative, I would request Morimotor pay for the cost of diagnostic by a certified Chevy mechanic if they confirm the issue was not a result of any alteration on my part since their product is advertised as plug and play. I also requested my case be referred to a supervisor for resolution and after three days, I have had no return contact from Morimotor. Total cost below is for the ** Hybrid ($1103.07) and after market replacement headlights totaling $500.24.Initial Complaint

In November 2023 purchased a set of Morimoto headlights, but unfortunately, I encountered several issues that have left me quite frustrated. To begin with, my order arrived partially, and it took approximately 8 months for the remaining parts to arrive. Once I finally had everything, I had the headlights installed.However, shortly after installation, during a family camping trip, I experienced a serious issue where the fuse box caught fire due to a connection related to the new headlights. Repair estimates have indicated costs around $3000 to fix the damage I do feel it's important to bring this to your attention so that other customers are aware of the potential risks involved with the installation of these products.I reported the issue to the company and they do not take responsibility for the issueInitial Complaint

Headlamps purchased were stated to have excellent UV Protection and higher quality than OEM standards. After 14 months the housing of the lamps have been fading. Upon discussion with the company their requiring me to either pay the full price for replacements which is $1,400+ then await a refund after inspection and replacement, or return the lamps and await the same but leaving me without a vehicle.Their warranty policy doesn't state either of those things needed to get a replacement as of May of 2024.Initial Complaint

Hello,I purchased a set of Tail lights for my F150. During the time they offered a purchase program to buy your old lights. I purchased the new tail lights based on the trade in amount listed to offset the cost of the new. After they received my old tail lights I get an email stating they are reacting my tail lights as the do not accept the LED version even though it was clearly an option to select. So, now I've been trying to get a response from them to rather send me back my old tail lights or atheist give me some kind of credit even as a store credit to make this right if they won't return the old set. I've made calls and even sent a reply email and haven't heard anything back. Based on the history of complaints here, they don't seem to respond to anyone, so I'm not holding my breath. Lights. Purschaed 1st pair March 2023 from stickerfab For 1150. Got 600 for trade in a few weeks later. Sept 2023. Lights started to have issues. Called . Was told to wait till Oct due to lights having issues and was going to come from a new supplier. Order in Oct. Had to buy a pair of them then when old ones were received would get money refunded back. Put in Oct 29th a few days later, issues again. Called and since they have not issued the refund yet , kept it and sent another pair. Put in then in the 2nd week of Dec. 2023. Got the deposit back. Noticed 3 weeks later , issues again and called. Paid deposit for yet l another pair to be shipped and got them. Put them in Feb 20th. Sent defective ones back and got deposit back. 2 weeks later issues again. Emailed then and requested a pair of oem lights due to constant issues with them. Was then told in a email that they could not send originals cause the go to a 3rd party but they will refund my money back when I send them the defective lights back. Sent defective lights back but no refund to this day. They have a 5 yr warranty on them. Basically they made money off of me with getting another set of headlights from me. Been through 5 pairs total( 4 in 4 months plus the 1st pair). I have all emails and bank statements and receipts of everything.
