I am filing this complaint against Blue World Pools, Inc. due to deceptive sales practices, high-pressure tactics, false advertising, failure to honor a valid cancellation request, and refusal to provide a refund. The salesperson, ******* ****, used extremely aggressive sales tactics during his visit to my home. He remained for over three hours, pressuring me into signing a contract. He also provided false information about my yards measurements and misrepresented pricing, which did not match the companys advertised offers. This was misleading and made under high-pressure circumstances.I canceled the agreement on April 30, 2025, within the **** 3-day Cooling-Off Rule, by sending a formal cancellation through *****************, a federally recognized service that confirms delivery. I acted fully within my legal rights.Despite this, Blue World Pools has failed to acknowledge my cancellation or return my funds. I have made repeated attempts to contact them, but my calls are either ignored, dropped, or rerouted without any resolution.Additionally, during one of these attempts, I was treated with disrespect by a manager named ******* *******. He raised his voice, provided inaccurate information about the cancellation process, and made inappropriate comments. This conduct was not only unprofessional but also unacceptable.I am requesting a full refund of $7,000, which I paid to Blue World Pools, Inc. I also seek a formal acknowledgment that my cancellation was properly submitted and accepted within the legal timeframe, and an apology for the unprofessional and unethical treatment I have received throughout this process.Sincerely,***** ******

We are attempting to refinance our home and Blue World Pools has a lien on our property not allowing us to refinance. We have never missed a payment and have been paying them by automatic draft for years. They are refusing to give us a written pay of for the pool. We have asked on multiple occasions, escalated up their chain and were told that accounting does not speak with people and the manager is never there. We are needed the written pay off in order to finish our refinance and they are holding us up. They have hung up on us, pretended the phones were not working and have yet after 2 weeks sent us the promised document.

I purchased a pool from Blue World Pool in 2019. The original amount agreed upon was $12,000 minus the $700 deposit with a total financing of $11,300. Upon reviewing the contract that was signed May of 2019 with the sales **** there are no interest rates and it shows original purchase amount. There is an additional contract page dated in July that shows an amount of $16,680.90 which is $4680.90 over the agreed amount. The page with a notary signature is missing the commission stamp and I never sat in front of a notary. The 2 official contract pages are not signed by myself, the buyer. I have made consistent monthly payments of $332 for six years, totaling over $23,000. Despite this, I was informed by the Blue World *** yesterday, that only about $3,000 has been applied toward the principal, with over $20,000 attributed to interest, and that I still owe more than $13,000. I feel this is predatory and poses multiple ethical and possible legal offenses. I have already paid double the original agreed upon amount for the pool and should not still owe more than the original price.

I would like to apologize to ******** ********** for any inconvenience she feels she encountered while dealing with Blue World Pools. A notary is not required by law for any of the formal documents signed by ******** ********** and is a moot point. The customer need only refer to her retail installment contract which is signed at installation which governs her principal balance, term, monthly payment, etc. After the initial sale, ******** ********** chose to upgrade to a nicer quality pool with our Classic model, which was reflected in a new pool contract signed at installation. It is clear that ******** Margoliners memory is flawed some 6 years ago. The financing is simple interest no prepayment penalty. One can plug in the details of the retail install contract into an amortization schedule calculator to see how each payment is applied over the term. Management will promptly reach out to ******** ********** to walk the customer back through the initial purchase to refresh her memory. Blue World Pools also may be able to help the customer shorten the term and reduce her out of pocket cost. Management looks forward to resolving ******** Margoliners concerns and making her happy. Management will be reaching out promptly. Thank you for your time in this matter.

    Complaint: 23266389

I am rejecting this response because:

Blue World Pools response to my complaint,  was dismissive, inaccurate, and fails to address the legal and ethical concerns I have raised. The company's attempt to fault my flawed memory and minimize its own responsibility only reinforces the seriousness of this matter.
    1. False Claim of ******************************start="783" data-end="786">Blue World Pools falsely states that I upgraded to a Classic model pool after the initial sale, which is untrue. The Classic pool model with upgrades was the product sold to me at the time of the original contract, and the agreed-upon price was $12,000not $16,680.90 as claimed. I did not sign any new or amended contract at installation, the additional contract is an unsigned document that Blue World Pools now claims governs my financing and should be unenforceable.
    2. Absence of *******************************start="1297" data-end="1300">The document containing the alleged financing termsincluding the outrageous and unexplained interest structurewas never presented to me at any point before or during installation, and was never signed by me. The figures appear to have been typed in arbitrarily. Under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), you are legally required to provide full written disclosures of loan terms before a consumer is contractually bound. Failure to do so is a clear violation of federal law.
    3. Deceptive and **************************start="1829" data-end="1832">Since speaking with **** in the collections department, I have made multiple attempts to seek clarity and resolution, only to be:
Disrespected and spoken to in a degrading, aggressive tone by the employees,
Cursed at and hung up on,
Denied access to any supervisor or manager,
Ignored after requesting a formal payoff statement multiple times, which to this day I have never received.
Your companys refusal to provide a payoff letter, legal documentation, or access to proper customer service raises serious questions about your operational ethics and may constitute a pattern of abusive practices under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and state consumer protection laws.
    4. Excessive and *********************************************start="2603" data-end="2606">Whether you call this simple interest or not, the effective rate applied of 23%, certainly fails any test of fairness or transparency.

Your companys conduct has been not only deceptive but deeply unethical and unprofessional.

    Business Response

I would like to again apologize to ******** ********** for any inconvenience she feels she encountered while dealing with Blue World Pools.  The documents signed and initialed at installation illustrate a different transaction from the one the customer remembers.  *************** goes through painstaking efforts to document an exact understanding and agreement at that time.  Blue World Pools does possess notarized documents signed by the customer in front a Texas notary by the name of ******* ******* Notary ID ending in 8268.  Blue World Pools disagrees with the customer's assertions that my organization is acting in bad faith in any way shape or form.  Simple interest financing is a method by which a portion of the payment goes principal and a portion goes to interest. A customer can plug in the details of the retail installment financing contract into ******************************************************* then click monthly schedule which will give a detailed breakdown.  For good customer relations, ********************** worked with ******** ********** and resolved her concerns.  ******** ********** has been a great customer.  ********************** values and appreciates ******** ********************** business.  Again thank you for your time in this matter.

This might not be a big deal, But I was trying to pay cash for a pool they advertised but was told I wasnt approved. Since when do you have to approved to pay cash for a pool? I think they are scamming people. The young lady I was talking with couldnt give me a reason they wouldnt sale me a pool. Maybe they wanted me to spend thousands of dollars than just a few hundred and didnt want to full with me.

I feel compelled to share my experience with Blue World Pools, a company that claims to offer affordable pool installations. Unfortunately, my encounter with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. Misleading Sales Tactics: Blue World Pools sells pools priced between $5,000 and $7,500 and advertise $399 pools. However, they charged me well over $21,000 for the same pool. Their sales representatives are skilled at convincing customers to upgrade to the premium pool, which was allegedly a free upgrade. Instead, they added an extra $6,000 to the bill.2. Lack of Transparency: the company lacks a user-friendly website for managing accounts, checking balances, or making payments. They dont send regular statements; only a payment history is available upon request. Shockingly, out of the $504.83 monthly payment, only around $278 goes toward the principal amount. Even worse, they threatened to take my home if I missed a payment. While I understood the concept of a lien, their aggressive approach was unacceptable. Their customer service is rude and unprofessional. False Advertising: The pool doesnt stay as blue as they claim. Their sales pitch about low maintenance and no need for bleach products turned out to be far from the truth. Im now stressed due to this purchase and plan to seek legal assistance. Filing a complaint with BBB the ******************************* office seems like the right step. Under Florida State statute contractor must file notice of commencement shall contract exceed 5000 dollars. Therefore the lien was illegally filed. Plus the sales person assigned to my deal stated the contractor will pull the permit. Therefore we were misled into signing the contract.

I would like to apologize **** & ******* ******** for any inconvenience they feel they encountered while dealing with Blue World Pools.  My organization has since spoken to the ******** family and resolved their concerns. Blue World Pools, Inc. advertises and sells pools ranging from $399 to over $10,000. Blue World Pools, Inc. advertises our pools in a good, better, best scenario with the Econoline, Midline, and Classic model pools.  The customer chooses the pool he/she/they wish to purchase at what price.  Kyla ************ ******** can plug in the details of the retail installment financing contract into ******************************************************* then click monthly schedule.  This will give a breakdown of all payments principal and interest, they then can compare those to the pay history we gave him to make sure they were applied correctly.  Blue World Pools did not invent the concept of simple interest.  Car loans are also simple interest.  A portion of each payment goes to principal and a portion goes to interest.  The lien is the security for the financing and should be taken seriously, however my organization does not threaten to take a customer's home.  ********************** is a family owned and operated company.  The contract specifically states in no uncertain terms the permit is the customer's responsibility to obtain.  Blue World Pools does a memorialized reconfirmation prior to shipping the pool to the installer to ensure the order and the financial details are exactly accurate.  The ionization cartridge must be changed out once a swim season to keep the pool crystal clear. There is, however, some basic maintenance and water chemistry that still needs to be done to make the water perfect.  **** ******** has shared with my organization that she loves her pool, and she frequently uses it and enjoys it.  Blue World Pools values and appreciates Kyla & ******* ******** business.  Thank you for your time in this matter.

On April 9, 2025, I contacted Blue World Pools by email regarding paperwork I needed for legal purposes for a pool that me and an ex spouse purchased back in 2021. I followed the steps that was posted on BBBs website regarding Blue World Pools which was to email them and if they dont respond in 72hrs I can file a complaint. As we can see it has been 11 days and I have not heard anything from this company. Reading all the complaints concerning this company is just mind blowing that this is even allowed. I also contacted them maybe almost 2 years ago with the same requests and for some reason they feel they dont have to answer or give me the paperwork to property that I own. I would really advise Blue World Pools to get back with me as soon as they receive this. Again this is for a legal matter and people will be held accountable. Thank you

We were told that our pool was ****** if we could pay upfront, if not then it was ****** after financing, I was fine with that, I called BWP for my records was told ****** a page I found mine & realized they have it incorrect wrong size ************* is ****** which i never agreed to. I agreed to ****** per the salesman explanation that if we could not pay outright ****** we would get finance charges nowhere did he ever say or show me ******. I continued my payments, I called a few months ago to get some temp relief since my husband was diagnosed with cancer & was unable to work. the lady was extremely rude & told me if we don't pay they will take my income tax and put a lien on the house. I asked if there was an forbearance available she said NO. I said there has to be some sort of help for people when they hit a hardship, she said NO you stated you could pay even in a hardship, I was trying to work with them she was very disrespectful and rude she had no compassion for what we are going through. it is ashame people like her even exist. I would not of used them had I known they were scammers and change contracts. I paid 2 times late because my card got compromised. I called immediately to pay & this is the treatment I get. when we were signing the agreement the salesman was ******* me on our porch in the sun & assured me the total was ******. I have been unable to pay for a few months now due to my husband is undergoing cancer treatment and unable to work. I am the only one working, I am seeking settlement of the ****** we agreed on and will resume paying once my husband can get back to work. I have no problem paying for my merchandise I just hit a hardship & thought they would understand and help like everyone else does in times like this. I will be more than happy to pay the agreed ****** and that is it. I will resume payments starting May if they can agree on this if not they can come get the pool and give me back all monies paid for it.

They continue to transfer me from Department to Department without any form of resolution for Missing work on three occasions do to the scheduling of their appointments. No one ever shows up and they always say they apologize and always ask to reschedule. This is my third reschedule without any type of resolution or representation . And then when I called back, they always just put me on hold and then hang the phone up. This is very unprofessional and I would like something to be done. The pool had been leaking since day one. Couldn't get anyone to return our calls so we held the payment. They called then and said there was nothing they could do until we were caught up. We made the payment then back to hearing nothing. Of course I waited until the warranty was up so now u don't have to fix it. Every complaint u blame the customer it's never your fault. Now.your saying it wasn't winterized ***********. I've had a pool since I was a child. Made sure also follow YOUR directions to the ** U never even came look at it now it's completely destroyed and u want more pictures. Little late now. As always blame the customer though. I'm not o e to complain at all but this is the worst experience of my life. Now I gotta pay a lawyer and get the attorney general involved

I would like to again apologize to ******* **** for any inconvenience he feels he encountered while dealing with Blue World Pools. The pictures sent in illustrate there was too much water build up on top of the winter cover. The water on top froze and the weight of the water tore the liner from the wall. This is neither an installation defect nor a manufacturing defect. In swimming pool circles, this would be considered customer negligence. The water on top of the winter cover must be siphoned off. There is a possibility that home owners insurance would cover this type of damage. As a courtesy, Blue World Pools is willing to send out a service technician so we can get a detailed estimate to ******* **** to turn into insurance. Normally Blue World Pools charges $150 for the estimate but we will waive the fee for good customer relations.  It should be noted the customer left for ******* when the pool was frozen and the liner pulling away from the wall and while they were away the pool collapsed.  Blue World Pools values and appreciates ******* Roses business. Thank you again for your time in this matter.

I would like to again apologize to ******* **** for any inconvenience he feels he encountered while dealing with Blue World Pools. *************** has sold and installed 10s of thousands of swimming pools, it is explcitly clear the customer did not winterize the pool properly.  Although it looks as if the winter cover was installed correctly, the water build up on top of the cover (that then froze) would have caused the liner to pull away from the wall.  You must siphon off the water and/or use an air pillow on top of the winter cover.  The pool failed in the dead of winter.  Proper winterization is a customer's responsibility.  There were no reported issues whatsoever on the pool after installation.  In all states Blue World Pools does business it can reach freezing temperatures.  This is absolutly an anomaly and only customer negligience.  ********************** has been emailing the customer on a multitude of occassions but has not received a response.  *************** has also reached out to the original installer for his opinion on the matter as well.  Blue World Pools is willing to help ******* **** for good customer relations but cannot get a return call or email.  Again, thank you for your time in this matter.
