      Rheem is the worst. I would never buy Rheem. They are giving me a warranty replacement on an evaporator coil that is less than 5 years old. I have been waiting 2 months for them to ship it. They don't care, won't call you back. I was told that in these extreme cases they will replace your unit, they won't mine. Otherwise, don't buy Rheem.

      The water heaters a defective and Rheem doesnt stand by their defective dangerous and deadly gas water heaters. I dont recommend this company at all!

      I give Rheem no stars been waiting on a compressor for a month now for my building. They compressors burn out in a year. The backorder is ridiculous with no answers.

      We bought a Rheem water softener from *********** The seal cracked and it sprayed water all over our basement. We called because it was still under warranty. They asked us to send pictures through email. After nine emails requesting more information and pictures, they finally sent us a replacement three weeks after the original leak. The replacement was used, broker, and the wires in the electrical component were broken and exposed. We sent and email with pictures and called customer service. If our plumber did not notice the exposed wires, we could have had a fire. They could have been responsible for possible lives lost. They stated there was nothing they could do and they would not send someone to pick up the used unit they sent to us. They won't send a new unit and won't reimburse us for the cost of the unit. We now have to pay to have two broken units removed and and disposed of. THEY ARE FRAUDS!

      We purchased a Rheem water heater in ****************************** 2020. It was under warranty still so we were able to replace the unit itself without cost but had to pay a plumber for installation. The 2020 water heater started leaking in 2024 and we had to replace it. Even though it was still under warranty, I refused to buy another Rheem. Two water heaters in 9 years is ridiculous! Our plumber wont even sell them anymore and we went with another brand. I am disgusted with their product and I will never buy another one again. I would give Rheem a zero star review if I could. Stay away from this brand!

      There definitely should be a zero stars option! I guess we should have read reviews prior to purchasing this unit, as there are only bad reviews here. Water heater only 4 years old and used in the summer months only! Already dead. Warranty only applies if you want to put the same piece of junk in to replace it! Spent thousands of dollars to have service tech out to fix and nothing he was doing was working. Out of hot water for months! Finally had to relent and put in a different unit. Dont buy RHEEM PRODUCTS. THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR ITEMS! *******************

      There should be a zero star option. Purchased their top of the line Performance Platinum 50 gallon water heater 14 months ago. We are on our third warranty item (control board) and its been 6 days since the replacement has been ordered and their lack of customer service department cant tell me when it will actually ship. If you need to replace your water heater SAVE YOURSELF AND BUY ANY BRAND OTHER THAN A RHEEM.

      I bought a water heater and had installed and gas valve didnt work. Called and was on hold for 40 min and was told part would be expedited, It has been 5 days and part hasnt even shipped yet from their warehouse., no hot water at house now for over 5 days!!!!!! Thanks rheem

      On March 25,2024 i purchased a 75 gal Hot water heater. 4 montgs later it is broken and it is warranty for a year. So it stopped working! I have had 8 plumbers here in 7 days all saying it needs a different part. Rheems parts /product manager ***** went to make an arrangement for a swap to be done in ********** today July 20th. The plumber come at 4 from an 12-2 appointment and it is ONE man he said i cant lift this. It was not conveyed from RHEEM that is was 75gal two man job. So no swap no hot water Monday will be the 13th day without hot water! ******************* the *** of Rheem I have reached out to him several times as well as *********************. This product and service is inferior! Only one person tried to help me and NO ONE reachable on a weekend. I bet they have hot water! This company is so broken apart they dont even have a proper phone directory and service you is in all different states. ******************* has not taken responsibility for his company that he runs. I bet he is in meetings after meetings then lunch then golf. Ive been ill and i dont think they deserve any awards for products or services i have never been so disappointed

      My house flooded. Rheem has not been helpful at all. My water heater busted in the attic and flooded our house. The water heater is under warranty and is less than 4 years old. We have to move out for 4 months at least. I have been trying to get this resolved so this doesnt happen again and keep being placed on hold.
