1 starI wish I had seen these reviews before I agreed to take out a loan from these fraudsters, at the urging of my dentist who assured me my loan would be interest free if I paid it off in two years (confirmed over the phone by Lending Tree, who convinced me to sign a loan agreement on that promise).. Now I discover I have four years of payments, not two, with over $1000 of fees and interest on a $2900 loan. I am furious and embarrassed that I was duped by the dentist and victimized by this company. RUN.Review fromRon P

1 star*** had this loan for many years now experiencing no problems until now *** experienced the worst experience at the worst time. my child is currently dealing with a long term health condition which caused me to be out of work for more than a year in which I still made my monthly payments on time. until current in which I asked for a hardship payments to get so I could pay my mortgage payments because I fell far behind. This company reassured me that my next payment would be a good faith payment and then I could start the hardship program. Until today I looked at my credit union account that isnt open after five of the business hour and is closed for the weekend. only to see that this company took their good faith payment and my monthly payment which will cause my mortgage payment to bounce. Which would cause me to have several return fees and a block from making online mortgage payments from my bank. Only to be told by another representative that the person who assisted me isnt available today. If this isnt a must dont get a loan from this company it will cost you a lengthy return payout. In which I still dont have information on what is owed and what I still oweReview fromJames D

1 starSTAY AWAY FROM THESE PREDATORS-:NOT TO BE TRUSTED.- OUTRAGEOUS ORIGINATION FEES.-ALL ABOUT FEES & INTEREST- WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I've ended up paying 50% interest & 50% towards the principal. Made 17 payments with 19 left. Due to health problems and unavoidable circumstances, I'm in a bad place now & fallen into hardship, but my account is still current. NEVER made a late payment. or missed one. Contacted them to see if they would tweak the terms & lower my monthly payment, not trying to cheat them out of a dime.. They slapped me in the face with their idea of two Hardship Programs: 1) Let me pay $64 for 3 months & revert back to my regular payment the 4th month! 2) Reduce my pay off balance by $600 & me pay the entire loan off in 3 months ($877.00+ a month for 3 months)! AND, I'D HAVE TO PAY AN $108.00 FEE UP FRONT TO ENROLL IN THIS CRAP! HOW CAN A PERSON GOING THRU HARDSHIP PAY OVER $877 A MONTH??? I TOLD THEM TO SHOVE IT- THAT I'M GOING TO MAKE THE PUBLIC AWARE OF THE HORRIBLE WAY THEY OPERATE & TREAT PEOPLE.Review fromRaven M

1 starI reached out to this company for a loan of $1000. They pressured me into starting alone for $3000 as I was approved For $3000. to receive said loan what they were requiring, was not only the login and password to my mobile bank they required the last four of my social my routing number, as well as my accounting number, and towards the end, they also asked for the first Five digits of my Social Security number. I was hesitant as this did not seem like something alone company would ask for, but I continued. This small company had went into my bank account and Added $500 to my account so that my credit would boost enough to receive the $3000 credit . I was advised to send that $500 back to the loan company so that it would show a payment being made on my account so that my credit would boost limit. but unfortunately, I was unable to send the $500 back due to my personal bank account locking completely, so I called my bank. The representative at my bank notified me that this loan company had went into my bank account and filed multiple fraudulent disputes on my behalf.. so no, this is not a legit business. and even though the company has BBB accredited information on their lending letter, this should also be revised and looked over. I did pull the companies agency number. And it is actually on the BBB website as legit, but I dont believe that this specific company here is an actual company. Agency number that was listed is 2089189-DCA LENDINGPOINT LLC.. I also have multiple Phone records Climbing to be a legit company. I am distraught as I am already behind on bills is the reason why I even reached out to the loan company in the first place be weary of the loan companies that are online.Review fromSHANNON C

1 starLENDING POINT WON'T HELP ME BUT I TRULY BELIEVE SHARING THIS COULD HELP YOU. I made an attempt to pay off my full amount for Lending Point over a month ago. The credit company I requested make the pay off made attempts multiple times to electronically initiate processing the payoff. Lending Point refused to 'cash the check' and accept payment to keep me as a customer essentially held hostage to pay the remainder of my loan with liquid cash (which I obviously don't have) or monthly to collect the full interest on the loan (which I could be saving with a pay off). The only way this can be processed is directly from the lending instititutions, I can't just 'charge' the payoff for Lending Point and get the same zero percent transfer rate. I am sure it doesn't really matter to them but I was attempting to payoff this account by transferring it to a zero percent rate so that I could then request another loan completely through Lending Point. Now that the payoff attempt was consistently refused and you are holding me financially hostage, I will continue to pay down my account to zero and never use their services again. I will use Best Egg or other comparable source. I have worked with them in the past and they never treated me this way. They actually value their customers' business and want to demonstrate behaviors and services that promote a customer turning into a repeat customer. I borrowed $28K approximately a year ago and have paid my balance down to just over $12,000. I am not a 'throw away' customer. I filed a complaint formally through the company and am certain that will go nowhere. But, in case Lending Point has people reading these valid complaints on the BBB site, LENDING POINT: DO NOT contact me with any alternate options, apologies, or 'deals' in response to this message. If you had wanted to help me you would have accepted the payoff funds one of the many times the other lending institution directly reached out requesting you do so.
