    I purchased a Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy on January 20th, 2024, and have encountered a significant issue with the paint. It appears to be peeling, with bubbling under the paint that has led to further peeling.I visited the dealership where I purchased the vehicle, and they informed me that there was a previous record of paint peeling near the windshield that was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I believe this issue is a manufacturing defect and not the result of anything I have done.However, the dealership has stated they are unable to assist me, which I find unacceptable. I would appreciate it if this matter could be addressed and resolved as soon as possible, as I did not cause this issue and expect it to be covered.Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your prompt response.****** I

    I took my car to the dealership in May to check the reason that the 2017 Santa Fe Sport was using oil. I have ****** miles on the engine and it has a ******* mile warranty. The dealership performed a full maintenance on my auto that cost me $1600.00. The car was done in 1 day. An oil consumption test was done and I returned my car on July 10, 2024. The dealership gave me a loaner and I was told that they would check it out and let me know. I called several days later with no response. I waited a few more days and called again to be told that they had sent report to Hyundai Financial. I finally found out that the case was sent on 7/22/24. This was 2 weeks after I was told it had been sent earlier. The Service Writer was no longer employed with the dealership so I left message for Manager. I was told that he would call me back the next day. It had been 2 weeks and no call back. On 7/22/24. I contacted Hyundai in ********** and they gave me a case number. The Representative has told me that the dealership will not respond to her either. It has now been 5 weeks since my car has been at the dealership! I finally got in contact with the dealership today, August 15, 2024 after being put on hold for 15 minutes.I was told that the tech was going to remove the top of the engine today to take a picture and send to Hyundai. I have had oil changed as instructed and have all receipts to prove it. My dad was a mechanic for 40 years and he told me that Warranties were not top priority. I am a widow and disabled and this is very upsetting to me. By the way, I have an acquaintance with the same problem with the engine as I am having with my Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. This is no way to treat customers.

    McDonough Hyundai is the best dealership in the state of *******!! My sales person ************* got me an amazing deal on my brand new Santa Fe Calligraphy. The dealership was very clean, the staff was beyond friendly!!!

    Horrible customer service. My ********************** Palisade heads up display was not showing the speed limit, and the school zone icon which turns red when driving through the school zone, stays red even after passing the school zone area. I had an appointment for Monday at 8:45 am, dropped my car off, and was told it would be 3 days to do a diagnosis. By Wednesday my car still wasnt ready and hadnt even been moved. I made phone calls but no one returned my calls. Finally had to go the dealership only to find that my advisor had left for the day even after being told she would call me back. Thursday I finally talk to my advisor only to find out that the mechanics called in sick. Yeah right! She said she would have it checked the next morning. Friday I get a text saying my car is ready. I drive off and my car is still doing the same thing. Totally incompetent people. I will never buy another Hyundai. Now I have to go back to this dealer, and take a ride with the service tech, thats if they answer the phone. A total waste of my time.
