The branch in *******. I cant prove what they did but I have my suspicions. For eight months, I overpaid on my loan, had no problems with it. All of a sudden a payment is lost in the mail. Then two months later two payments were lost in the mail when I tried to pay the loan off. Person at the bank that I talk to told me that the ** number address they gave me was closed and payments were taken 3 to 4 months to post an account. I made a new payment to pay off the loan and demanded my two checks that never went through sent to my home. I never received a letter from them stating the new address where to send the payments. I suspect they were just holding it because I was overpaying it and theyre losing interest. But its all speculation. Seems odd that for eight months no problems with my payments being mailed in then all of a sudden Im having problems.1st Franklin Financial Corporation Response

I see a lot of dissatisfied customers here in the reviews. We must remember ************ has humans working for it. Humans are not perfect and sometimes bring their emotions to work. It reflects on the company, not you. and humans make mistakes, Glad they were taken care of. I deal with this company and so far everything is pleasant and good. The head manager (*******************************) at the establishment in ******** seemed to be a bit prejudiced towards me. I was waiting patiently to be assisted so I sat in the waiting area. And when the head manager came in she had a scolding look on her face as if I disgusted her with my presence. So with that type of energy being put into the environment I left the facility and I will never return to another location because of the experience.1st Franklin Financial Corporation Response

This is not a loan company. It is debt consolidation. But they get offended when you ask them. They are not honest in communicating risks with this program and they hold a carrot of a loan after 4-6 months. Below is an email I received from their rep. I don't usually post reviews, but the attitude is what I am posting about. Do not expect good service at all. You can decide who you want to deal with, but this guy when you question anything lands with this type of response.Lol here goes bozo the clown. I see why there ate so many complaints. I unfortunately did not see any of these until after the fact. I took out a small loan and will be paying that off very fast because the online paying never ever works. I set up the account, I made maybe 2 online payments and it had been a hassle since. I log in it tells me I have no existing accounts. You people ****. I pay every thing online. I work 2 jobs I don't have time to chase ppl down to give you $. Then I read on BBB they fast to serve you for not paying. Ok well maybe if you would gave your online **** functional you might get paid. I've told them multiple times you see I've logging in 50x over a month trying to pay your stupid a$$ fix the **** problem maybe you folks would get **** paid on time. The local branch in my community is sending out checks to people who have not been soliciting loans from anybody. My wife received one. Dont get lured into these loans from 1st Franklin Financial. They are worse than taking out one of those PAYDAY loans. They may or may not send out a statement ever month and you will miss payments. It seems to be by design in an attempt to inflate your loan by adding penalty fees, its a very poorly run company. And the highest level of education for their employees seems to be GED or equivalent. Theyd rather *** you through the local circuit court in an attempt to collect all these inflated loans instead of running a reputable company. They are PAID OFF.
