I've been with ICCU for 18 years now, and overall, we love them. Refinancing our mortgage was SO easy and painless, and I love the fact that they treat the car loans like a mortgage - paying off the car early actually saves interest! I've never seen that. The only thing I wouldn't recommend are their CDs. They automatically roll over to horribly low rates when maturing, and you have to wait 30 minutes on hold to talk to a human being to stop it from rolling over, as they leave you no option to have them NOT do it. That's too much of a pain and there are too many more customer-friendly options. I love that they are so supportive of our community. Nothing is more disgusting than a company doing business here and not supporting the community. I love seeing their support of all the charities and nonprofits.

Absolutely our worst decision in financing a vehicle in 40 years! We purchased a new vehicle in May 2024, and have never to date received a monthly statement, though I have contacted them two times for statements, and they apologize for their error, yet NEVER have sent one to this date... it is AUGUST!!! Their system is not easy to view either. AND we have paid two months in advance, yet they send emails to make a payment!!! They are the hardest credit union/bank ever to work with. We only choose them for the interest rate and believe me, saving money on the interest is NOT even worth it!! (And if you do not believe me, I rate only 5 star people on my reviews, (with exception to only one, on my ****** Reviews, because I choose to be a shining star in life, and only review the people that are awesome, as I want everyone to know, to check them out... yet I cannot help but give these Credit Union at 1 Star... save yourself before you even work with them. And PLEASE read what ****** states about them... they literally CONTROL your money in their branch as to what you may purchase through your checking accounts with them!!! Horrid! So glad that I have a FIVE STAR bank at another branch for all my checking and investments.Idaho Central Credit Union

I made payments on time through the portal for 2 years. I moved recently and must have forgotten my obligation.I first learned from TransUnion that I was late. My ICCU never contacted me to tell me I was late.When I called them, I learned that somehow the email address they had been using for 2 years changed internally without my doing. I have 2 years of emails at the correct one, the one I gave them.They were unwilling to help me recover my credit score from what was in part their fault for updating my contact information internally without my knowledge or permission.This cost me eight years of progress on my credit report.When a company will not fix what they have done due to unprofessionalism and internal mistakes, you should not trust them with anything.Idaho Central Credit Union

Absolutely the worst bank ever to work with. They literally let fraudulent activity happen on two of our business accounts even when we informed them as it was happening. We still have been unable to get the money backIdaho Central Credit Union

- "Personally Banker" asked me if ****** *** was my "aunt or something". - Mailed incorrect information to the **** flagging it as unable to be registered - Sent my car title in an unsealed envelope Unprofessional credit union, uneducated employees. I recently interacted with an ICCU employee, and i feel i must pass this on. My daughter is attached to my account and had issues with her remote deposit of her paycheck. Meaning I had to cover the check until issue was corrected. In steps ***** Habbbaba. She works at the blue lakes branch in **********, and I fully support her for her run for CEO of customer service. No kidding. She was extremely patient with me, spent several hours clearing up my issue(I wouldn't doubt if some were on her own time) Her empathy, knowledge of her business, and a "No, I got you" attitude is why I not only give ***** 7 stars out of 5, but ICCU as well for hiring such a remarkable banker, but a person that would be an 7 star asset to any business. Kudos to ICCU for *************************!!Idaho Central Credit Union

I really wish ********** had more ATMs. Every time i try to do a transaction on the weekend their ATM at both locations is out of order or will not accept cash. Other than that i love ICCU.Idaho Central Credit Union

Idaho Central Credit Union might be OK for most people, but if you like to be debt free and pay off your loans early, then look elsewhere.Idaho Central Credit Union places strict limits on the amount one can transfer into their account. Had I know their policy, this Idaho native would never done business with ICCU. The atuo dealership promised I could pay off the entire loan early without any penatly. Well--interest becomes a penalty when the credit union restricts on how much they will accept for a day, a week and even a month. So instead of being free and clear of any debt letting me pay off my entire loan in under 30 days, I am dealing with ICCU's slow walk loan payoff restrictions. I attempted to pay off my new car loan off, almost $50K due to the high interest rate ****%. My $47.5K online transfer from a well established bank was refused. It was rejected due to ICCU ridiculous policie that one can only transfer in $10K per day, $20K per week, and only $35K per month. If you are searching for a new car loan, and you are OK with paying interest, then feel free (no pun intended) to borrow funds from ICCU. If you like to pay off you debts early and avoid as much interest as possible, then avoid ICCU.Idaho Central Credit Union

This credit union dragged out my loan approval for over three months while rates kept going up each week. Now, I cannot refinance my loan elsewhere. Idaho Central Credit Union is a terrible credit union and I will never use them again.Idaho Central Credit Union
