This company has had my ** for repairs since 9/14. I have made repeated attempts to contact the service department (specifically ****** since he is the one working on this) to get status updates and have been repeatedly told they havent gotten around to it yet. I understand they are busy but I had been told they would only need a week to look at it and then they would work on paperwork for the warranty. They finally submitted paperwork to the warranty on 10/11 (according to ******) which was denied. ****** said he doesnt know why because there are no notes and I would have to contact Keystone to find out. When I asked for contact info he said to look them up online. Then when I asked about the other repairs needed he said all the issues I brought it in for just somehow miraculously fixed themselves and they dont know what Im talking about. Never did we do a walk through together for me to show them/explain to them what exactly the problems were but we did spend over an hour talking about all the issues multiple times and he typed them all into the computer with me standing there. Each issue I asked about he would say I dont know I have to get back to you or I dont know I have to go ask that person and call you back. (He NEVER calls back!) So Im wondering if this warranty paperwork was actually submitted then why does he not know whats happening with the ** and why are these issues suddenly not issues? I told him it sounds like theyre just too busy to deal with it and I would be looking for another service department to take it to and he said theyre just backed up theyll get to it. So I called Blue Dog/Compass in **** so ask about the process of moving my ** to their shop and let them know the issues I was having. I got a call back from ***** ***** the next day and he had been very helpful in giving me some answers but wanted me to talk to the service manager in ******* and I now have been waiting since 10/21 to hear from **** even after I left a voicemailCustomer Answer

Hello. I am writing to let you know I called Blue Dog/Compass again and spoke with ****(service manager) on 10/25. It seemed like instead of helping with the issue he would rather make excuses for ****** but I let him know I wanted the trailer taken to the Blue Compass in **** and he agreed and would let me know when it was there. I never heard back from anyone so I called the *********************** on 11/1 and spoke with ***** who said he had the trailer but wasnt given any information about what was going on so I talked with him about what needed to be looked at and he said he would get to it as soon as he can and would let me know what he finds out. ***** is still out of office so he hasnt been able to chime in on any of this yet.

Blue Compass dropped my Momentum toy hauler before I bought it and didn't tell me. There was a big gash in the back panel, but they said that it would be fixed when they picked it up to spray the interior and exterior protection that I had paid extra for. They ended up being able to fix it before we bought the *** but when the driver came to pick my ** up we noticed some puncture holes in the panel on either side of the hitch. At that point,the driver said, "I know this trailer" and when I questioned him about it, he said, "I can't tell you or I will lose my job". After that, we realized that several things were broken. There was (and still is 10 months later) a big leak in our black tank, leaks up front near where the puncture holes were, the fuel station does not work, the heat doesn't work (the propane heat and our little fireplace), the bracket on the solar panels are broken, the control panel for the ez **** does not work, and I had to throw away the mattress that came with it less than two months after I bought the ** because there was mold all over the bottom of it. I had called to see if they had sprayed the interior mold protection after they had brought it back because I realized that our toothbrushes and other personal items had been in the ** when they had it and I was told then that the girl would not have sprayed it if we had things in there. Many months later, when I mentioned the mold, I was told that they had actually gone ahead and sprayed it because it was on the work order. When they took the ** in at the end of March,they fixed the front panel, gave me a work-around with the black tank (that has been a nightmare), and did not even fix the leaks in the pipes. I had asked to go and see underneath the panel because the driver had told me that moisture could get up in there, and I expected to see the mold and moisture coming from under the panel. Blue compass told me that they would not let me in there, but would send pictures. That was months ago, and I have not received any. I have also asked for information on what they were going to do, and when. Nothing. The new mattress I bought was also destroyed by mold and I am a single Mom that has had two surgeries and radiation (for recurring tumors in my head) in the past 10 months and had to live in this nightmare with my two young girls with no heat over the winter.
In December, right after I had spent a week in a hospital 3 hours away, I called Blue Compass to let them know we didn't have heat. They said,"Sorry, we don't have a service guy here, so you are going to need to bring it in." It was zero degrees and black ice all the way to the dealership 45 minutes away. Luckily, I ended up calling ************ instead and they were much more kind and said that if I could get someone out there, they would reimburse me. However, when I was dealing with these issues in December, I was on the phone with the service guy who asked one of the other service guys about if the panel with the puncture holes had been ordered and the guy asked which one, and the guy that I was talking with on the phone said, "It's the one (**) that was dropped". That was when my fears were confirmed. They had dropped my ** and did not tell me. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!Initial Complaint

I bought a new 38 ft rv travel trailer that is under warranty.from Blue Compass in ******* **. One of the gray water tanks fell out of the rail (holder) I took it up there 3 months ago and they said they would order a new tank . I've been try to get a hold of the manager for 1 month and won't answer the phone or return my calls after leaving several messages. We bought our trailer in January of 2022 from Blue Dog RV. Memorial Day weekend of 2022 our slide broke. We took it to Blue Dog in ******* ******, told it would take a couple weeks to fix. Took trailer back end of October 2022 as it was still broke but we needed it for a trip. Couldnt slide the slide out on trip so bathroom was unusable. Took it back and dropped it off December 1st, 2022. Today is 09/21/2023, two months shy of a year of it being at Blue Dog RV and we still do not have the trailer back. While I understand it is a manufacturer warranty issue, some clarification from them would go a long way. Put have had to pull their teeth to get any information. Usually the response we get is "oh, the technician says he will have it done end of this week or beginning of next" For 10 months!!! 7 weeks ago, we were told they were waiting on some metal and then it would be done. We have been lied to and been told almost finished etc for the whole time. We have been told the slide repair failed several times etc. We have to pry anything out of them. Lots of, oh... let me check. Still no ETA on when we will get the trailer back or the condition of the trailer. We lost out on using our free one year membership to Thousand Trails. We do not know if they have left it exposed to the elements, we do not know if anything else failed in this time. We have no idea of the condition of the trailer after almost a year. We have had to make our payment every month for a product we bought from them but havent been able to use. I think 10 months is more than adequate to fix any issues there were. At this point it is excessive and no one wants to compenstate us for loss of use due to them not being able to fix it in a timely manner. We are out thousands of dollars. Blue Dog RV has been nothing but a nightmare to deal with, they are not honest and forthcoming. They will make things up just not to have to deal with the actual problems.Initial Complaint

We bought a travel trailer on March 27, 2023 . Its a brand new 2022 Shadow Cruiser . We found numerious things wrong with it . We took it in to be fixed got it back and found more things wrong with it . Alot of it is stucturial . They told us to call the manufacture which we have ( heartland cruiser ) they said they will fix it . Its under warrenty . We do not want the trailer . Its a lemon and several people at Blue Dog (compass) have agreed . We havent been able to use it but once this summer because its been in the shop .Initial Complaint

We purchased a new trailer from this Blue Dog in April of 2022. We took it in for warranty work in November of 2022. It is now July of **************************************************************** returned. We have called and gone into the business in person multiple times. We are told a variety of different reasons it isnt done. The trailer also came with a free, one year, ************* membership. We have now missed out on 8 months of this membership because our trailer has been at the dealership.Initial Complaint

We have attempted several times to reach someone to cancel our service warranty contract, as our trailer is totaled and our GAP is requiring this to be cancelled. If we do reach someone they do not provide any assistance, even after vocalizing our situation to them and we have been hung up on several times. They are legally obligated to provide the money owed and are refusing to cancel our contract. The warranty company is unable to assist us without them doing their portion of the cancellation first. We have proof that we paid for this contract and that we have been trying to reach them several times to cancel this. They are extremely rude, unprofessional ,and refuse to let us speak to someone in management. We need this resolved or we will take it further.Initial Complaint

First off let me say I am disabled vet and my wife as major health issues which have been made worse from the stress of all this she was recently been hospitalized for a heart attack brought on by the stress of all this. This company as a hole has lied to ** the the office in ********* ******* to there head quarters/ corporate office in *****, Has played games with ** and are currently in breach contract with me and my wife. We bought this rv from the blue dog rv in ********* ******* they stated they had done a full inspection of the rv we were buying. This was a complete lie. When we did our walk through with the ***** that was supposed to tell us about our rv and show how to work everything, she didn't even know the drinking water dispenser from a soap dispenser. The kitchen sink leaked when we turned it on during this walk through inspection and caused the floor to bubble up the person doing the walk through acted surprised and said that somthing must has not have tittened down correctly. After we took possession of the rv we found the windshield wiper fluid had not been filled one of the water filters had a broken filter in it had all the charcoal from the filter stuck to the inside, to date there are 12 plus things that the company said they would fix and nothing has been done it its been almost 6 months now and still nothing has been done. We have spoken to several people in the ***** office who claimed they had to bring our issue to there corporate office and now WE HAVE FOUND OUT THAT ********** ***** THE PEOPLE WE HAVE BEEN TALKING TO IS THE CORPORATE OFFCE. Bought a travel trailer from them and noticed it was scratched by them, many broken items, a lot of warranty work needed done. Emailed and called and no response. Then it was damaged in a hail storm and after a month of calling they finally called ** back. Took it in, in December 2022 to get all warranty and hail damaged fixed. 10 items needed to be fixed. Started emailing and calling in Feb and March with 1 response saying they were waiting on an adjuster to come. ******** had already came because they told me personally. ***** lied about that. Then no response in April despite numerous emails and calls. Finally we called very angry multiple times and the manager, ****, called and left a message stating that they weren't going to deal with **, come pick up our trailer, and they weren't going to work on it. That was it. They had our trailer for almost 5 months and didn't do any work. The manager never called to find out the complaint, talk to ** about what was going on, and didn't do any work despite having it for 5 months. They have poor communication, poor customer service, and they sold ** a travel trailer that was damaged and they did damage prior to pick up after purchase without disclosure.Initial Complaint

We brought our trailer in for warranty work at Blue Dog Rv in *******, ** in November 2022, here we are 6 months later in April 2023 and we are back at square one. They "forgot" about our trailer for 3 months when we found out the parts had not even been ordered yet and then just have given ** the run around since. They told ** they have a new service manager and things will get turned around and that we are not the only ones in this situation, as they have someone who has been waiting 9 months. That does not make ** feel better. We have owned and used the trailer for 2 months and they have had it on their lot for 6 months for repair. We are paying on a trailer that we cannot use. The trailer is unusable because the outside door won't close. Oh, and they let our 3 batteries die while in their possession and will not pay for new ones. We contacted the manufacturer and they contacted Blue Dog to get a rush on the parts and work, but still nothing. When we call for an update, they bring up our account and say "Remind me what parts we ordered for you again" and then say they need to look into where our parts are and they will call ** back...Seriously??? We never receive a call back from them. SIX MONTHS and no end in sight!!!
