I've wasted enough time and energy with their service department, ***** in specific, that I'll try to make this short and sweet. I strongly recommend not ever, ever bringing your RV in for service here! Diagnosing issues competently seems to be an issue, they're incredibly expensive ($210/hr), 30-day labor warranty (as ***** told me....wow, with a shop rate like $210/hr, you only have a 30-day labor warranty?! - what a confidence booster), and lack of effectively listening to a customer's issue(s) and accurately understanding and translating that information to the technician. *****, I do like you, but a little less of the "*****-giggle", and the "don't worry, we'll take care of ya" or "we'll make it right", and more listening and understanding of the customer's issues in the beginning, might actually get you folks some positive reviews. As well *****, don't believe for a second that I believed some of the ******** you told me. The fuse panel was not replaced, nor is it one-piece with the converter (at least in this case, and confirmed by the manufacturer). Along with all the other old parts left in a box in the trailer, even down to the broken 30 amp circuit and old battery jumper cables, how did the "one-piece" to the converter fuse panel not make it in the box of old parts? The old converter is there in the box, but where's the "one-peice, connected fuse panel?" As a result, I adamantly refuse to purchase anything or seek services at the ********** location. I strongly adivise others to steer clear of this establishment at all costs."

The Blue Dog RV ****************** is the worst we have ever dealt with. They basically kept ****** for 1 MONTH BEFORE even looking at it's needed repairs. We informed them that we were living in it and they still did not consider working on it for over a month. Once the repairs were done they billed us for the repairs even though our unit was under warranty when we took it in. But because they didn't work on it until after the warranty expired, they would not honor our warranty. And now we still have a major water leak that has never been completely fixed after 3 different visits. It is so bad that we have had to completely turn off our water use. And we also had missing items when we finally got our unit back as we could not remove all our belongings since we live in this 5th wheel full time waiting for our home to be built.

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST RV LOT. Didnt used to be that way. Sold us our latest RV end of May for my daughter and son in law. For a summer of fun. They got one weekend. This NEW RV was damaged inside but promised to have it fixed promptly. To date NOTHING. THEIR Service Mgr ****, appeared caring one month ago. Ended up with him verbally THREATENING MY HUSBAND on my phone yesterday. I tried to get the guy to calm down. He didnt even realize he had a woman on the phone by ?then and he kept screaming at now me on the phone. He had NO Clue because he wouldnt let me talk. Told my hubs to come down face to face with him. Threatening. One Motorhome and 3 RV purchases in the past. Never been so insulted and disgusted by his vulgar personality. STEER CLEAR OF BLUE COMPASS. After calling sales back, I was assured manager **** in Sales will call my right back. He was in bathroom. Nothing. No call. Thanks for treating your longtime CUSTOMER LIKE C*** ??SHAMEFUL. Blue Dog is now Blue Compass who brags of excellence. What a JOKE!

As a local Idahoan, I was happy to go to a local company to purchase our **. Ive had many conversations with people about blue dog before we purchase from them and many people said they would never go back there again. When I went and looked at the **s. I talked with the Manager of sales regarding the conversation I had had, and he stated that they had had some issues in the past, but they had been resolved. We decided to purchase our keystone ** with an extended warranty and several upgrades. From the very first time we took the camper out we had issues . Trying to schedule a service appointment with their service department was nearly impossible. Even though we had just gotten our ** they werent even gonna be able to look at it until next season. Here we are several years later and the ** has multiple issues, leaks windows that are not sealed and issues with the walls falling apart. Blue dog is now blue compass does not want to stand behind the product and now tells us that we bought an entry-level camper and we should expect some of the issues that weve seen. Before you buy from this company, make sure you do your homework, theyre good on the front end, but you will be sorry on the backend.

Amid a sea of one star ratings, I have to be honest and say I did not go back to blue dog for warranty work, which is a nightmare in many areas across the nation. I bought a ***** trailer used from Blue Dog. In their Internet ad, they said they were repairing a damaged Slideout on the rig. We drove 700 miles to pick up the trailer from our home and so when the Slideout failed after two operations, we told them that we could not ***************** back to blue dog, but would have it worked on locally. I assumed that I would have to eat the cost of the repair. *********************** the service manager was difficult to get a hold of, but he came through With every thing he said he would, and was a straight shooter when in conversation. I was skeptical when I sent them the bill to repair the Slideout, but to my amazement blue dog sent me a check for $2000, the cost of the Slideout repair in my hometown. This kind of standing behind your product and service does not usually happen in America anymore. Perhaps I just had good karma, but I was more than happy with blue dog.

We showed up for appointment and they made us wait 40 mins before even acknowledging us. When **** finally came out he was rude and did not care about professionalism. We made the appointment one month in advance for a 9 am drop off and 4 pm pick up. We are traveling and needed our warranty issues diagnosed same day. **** told us that we had to leave our trailer for at least two days with no phone call in advance. I even called the day prior to confirm our appointment and was told nothing about leaving the trailer for that long. Grand Design should be ashamed of their business relationship with Blue Dog RV in ******* and *******************.
