A significant problem and concern. This is regarding the solar panel support frames as they attach to the roof. Page 14 of the Design package explains the **** MOUNT / Simple 3-************ Watertight for Life. I asked you about this and you showed me this design. This was critical to my decision to proceed with adding solar panels to my roof. Main items I liked was the One-Piece Flashing designed to tuck under the shingle above, and the Elevated Cone to keep the protrusion a considerable higher point than the single(s) themselves. Part Number for this mounting plate is PSCR-UBB), PSCR-CMMO, or PSCR-UMMO. I was convinced this would eliminate moisture, rain, melting snow, all the outside elements from getting under the shingles, and into the roof structure itself. The problem is that the installation didnt provide this design. Quite opposite. By the way, there are 41 holes in my roof with this simple round / flat gasket. I dont see sealant present either. on December 15th, Horizon came to replace the round washer design with the Pegasus full shingle shape flashing piece. (as shown above), it was very cold this day, when they started at 8am it was 23f outside. In the coarse of removing the round washer gaskets, the roof was damaged. Shingles were ripped to get the incorrect circle attachment removed. An example of this is shown in the 2 pictures below. Lastly, the flashings are bowed upwards in the corners showing that a majority of the roof shingles were damaged with the replacement of the circle gaskets to the flashing pieces. Significant concern on my part that my roof is no longer protecting the house and thus needs replaced. Additionally, there are 100s of cracked shingles where shingles were lifted up to remove nails to apply for the attachment flashing pieces, again with the 23c temperature on that day, the shingles were brittle. This adds to a need to remove all the supports and rails, and repair the roof fully.
