      What a terrible & exhausting experience trying to get customer ************ money back from North **** Technologies (aka onbe).A credit ******* owed us was issued via a pre-paid debit/credit card from North **** (aka onbe) We didn't ask/apply for this card. ******* making money on the money it owes us. North **** making money on money ******* owes us. North ****'s info sheet included the option to "Request a Bank Transfer" or "Request a Paper Check" via its website. I went online to choose 1 of these options. The URLs for the options listed above led to a registration, activation, user name & password page. Which proved almost impossible. Why?1. The webpages were slower to open than any I've encountered since dial-up internet. So slow that one would think that the connection wasn't being made. Does the company actually exist or is this a scam, I asked myself. 2. I repeatedly typed in the CORRECT information the website asked for (identifying me and the card) and a message repeatedly came up that the info was incorrect. How to get past being held hostage by this impossible-to-get-anywhere system? Let's talk to a person. Also almost impossible. 3. The phone numbers listed on the card and info sheet were automated only, with no option to talk to a person. The automated system couldn't help me anyway because it needed info from the website page: registration, activation, user name & password. And remember, I was repeatedly shut out when I input the correct info. 4. Only because I dug deep online did I find another number. I had zero idea that calling this number could lead to a live person Yes, eventually I reached an offshore ********* answered my call, "customer service." She didn't identify a company's name. She eventually made an 'order' to send us a check for the amount ******* owes us.5. Will we actually receive the check? I have a confirm number, but little trust this is an on-the-level company.

      One of worst businesses ever. Everything doesnt work on their website. Not even the forget password function without going through a 3 hour experience with customer care. I have never disliked a businesses as much.

      Initiated a same-day-ACH transfer from my CSL Plasma debit card account to my regular checking account on November 23rd, paying the extra $4.95 fee for the quicker service. It's December 1st, and the money is still nowhere to be found.Initiated a regular, slow, free ACH transfer on Nov. 29th, from the same CSL card to the same checking account, and it has already arrived. Multiple calls to their awful customer service have resulted in zero progress locating my money.The best they can do is an ACH trace that *** take 2 business weeks (!). Sure glad I paid that extra fee for the express service.This is a fraudulent company that needs to be investigated. The A+ rating proves the BBB is a joke as well. A pox on both of you.

      Terrible customer service. My card expired and spoke with one rep who told me to visit website where I could request a new card (at a cost of $10 even thought value of card is $40). Go to the site and no option for renewing card so call customer service again. This time I'm told that I need to fill out a paper form, mail it back to them and then they can issue a new card, minus the $10. Who knows how long it's going to take to get the new card as they have to receive and review a paper copy then snail mail out a card again. Feel like I'm dealing with a company from the 80s.

      North ****************** **************** is like the worst. I have tried to get rid of them after closing my service with them for U-Verse. They keep sending us Debit cards from a third-party company. Called North ****************** **** Also affiliated with Sunrise banks. I call them and the go between is very sick. I just want cash sent to me. By sending me a debit card with a third party they have violated our rights. By giving our information to a third party. Who then gives us a debit card and threatens to charge us fees? The last one was for, get this, 68 cents. I dont want anything to do with them and told them so. They will not close my online account with **** until we use the card. I think it should be looked into. They are violating our rights by taking the money they owe us, selling it and having another company make money. It is a big fraud. Apply this variable of dishonesty by millions and you know someone is ripping off a lot of people and are making big money. We cut the card in half and sent it back to the company who issued it. We do not want the money. **** has become a terrible company to work with. Now corrupted. If I want a debit card, I will apply for one. I do not want this one.These two companies are at playing a game of fraud... AT & T and North ****************** **** Again AT & T is selling our information to this third party company. It is a violation of our rights. I do not want this debit card.

      North lane is now Onbe. New name, same crappy company. Sometime the customer service people actually try to help, but it seems they aren't properly trained to know that No Matter How you try to get your money out of this card, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A FEE. Or maybe they do know, but are intentionally lying about the mandatory and inescapable fees. Maybe their bosses are telling the *** folks not to admit it, bc it seems to happen regardless of which person I've spoken with. The companies using this service from this terrible company need to dump them. They even charge a fee for NOT giving you your money, even if you don't check your balance. Scam. Avoid it if at all possible.

      **** partnered with Northlane to provide debit cards as refunds owed for **************** In the last few weeks, I have received at least 3 debit cards. I had to register three different user names/email addresses to get my refunds. Each took about an hour to activate and eventually (after MANY attempts) transfer the refunds (less than $10 each) or request paper checks. I'm betting that many do not feel their time is worth the effort. I didn't think it was worth the effort, but I'll be darned if Northlane or **** will keep my refund. I'll bet they are counting on us not to bother. **** should be compelled to provide their own refunds directly to consumers. Absolutely unacceptable way for ****/Northlane to do business. I am utterly disgusted with both companies.

      They make it impossible to spend your refund. The faq says it works with digital wallet, customer service says it doesnt. What a joke.
