      I purchased a car warranty from *********. MEPCO is the company that handles payments and billing. I cancelled Endurance in January of 2025. I have an email from Endurance confirming the cancelation. I took the trouble of advising my ********** to deny any attempts at charging my AMEX card. MEPCO continues to try and access funds from my AMEX card. I called MEPCO and told them I had canceled my Endurance coverage. The *** I talked to just kept saying she could not cancel my policy and then hung up. MEPCO is threatening collections action.

      I called MEPCO to tell them that I had cancelled my Endurance coverage.  The *** said her screen showed that my coverage was active.  I offered to send her the cancellation email and she rudely refused.  I have provided the BBB a copy of my coverage cancellation email from Endurance.

      ****** to extended warranty policy on February 5th, 2025. They said I, by law, had 30 days to cancel with a full refund. I have been calling again and again, over and over, using different numbers, and there has been no answer. The time I finally got a cancellation number, and customer ********************** said I was all set, they hung up on me and notified me via text that my payment had still been declined. I have been charged $296.61, which my credit card declined twice. I need help getting this policy canceled, as I cannot get a hold of anyone and they make it incredibly difficult to do so. I want to resolve this since I'm afraid this will ruin my credit score. Here is my cancellation number: *****CXL

      Entered by BBB staff LO Consumer states her sister has dementia and 3 years ago she rented a car and was convinced to purchase a warranty plan. She gave her Discover account number and for the last 2-3 years their have been charges from Mepco on her account for $145.30 monthly. The consumers daughter has POA for the sister and has tried to contact Discover to dispute the charges but they said their hands are tied.&#***;

      I spoke with a sales manager over the phone who had misled me into signing up for this service. I was assured this would only cost around $80/month and it was not a contract. I intend to speak with a representative to cancel this service but I am led to believe they will not honor it.

      This company as well as Endurance (which converted my insurance to Mepco) is a big scam.Nothing useful was covered under my warranty.Also, it takes 5 mins to setup this warranty, but they make it impossible to cancel like other scammers and thieves do.They asked me to fill out a very tedious paper form, have it notarized, and mailed to them. Then it takes up to 6 weeks to cancel after they receive the form.In the mean time they keep charging me monthly, and they still haven't canceled the policy.AVOID ENDURANCE WARRANTY SERVICES AND MEPCO at all costs.

      This company scammed my 92 year old mother who is suffering from dementia. They got her to agree to an insurance policy that she does not need or want by making her think her insurance policy lapsed. Total scammers. Shame on you people. Absolutely disgusting

      I purchased an extended full powertrain warranty. I have paid around $4000. I DROVE my 2015 Silverado to Chevrolet dealership(******************* *******) because check engine light was on. They determined it was internal engine problems. Mepco refused to cover repairs stating its manufacture responsibility and dealership is saying it should be covered through warranty. I have all service records through dealership including oil changes. It was nothing that was caused on my behalf. I had to pay $950 for them tearing it apart to find problem only to be rejected. Now I have to have my truck towed from shop with my engine parts in boxes. Im living check to check to try to get it fixed and borrowing money to pay for everything. This is now going on a few months of me paying ***** Fargo my monthly payments, paying Mepco for something they are refusing to cover repairs on, and not being able to work without my truck. Then on top of it all, I have been trying to get it from dealership(per dealership demand) and they tell me today the mechanic that worked on my truck is no longer employed there. Service receptionist said he will get all my parts together and put in back bed of my truck. I was charged almost $1000 just to have my truck towed away. I shouldve at least been able to get my truck back in the same condition I brought it there in, not in pieces. Im also attaching the conversation between Mepco and *******************. They are just placing blame on each other while leaving the customer(me) to take the loss.

      My mother is 92, lives in a retirement community and has extreme short term memory loss. Prior to us changing her number to one that is monitered for any calls not on a list, she was apparently contacted by someone selling Mepco Carshield. She pays State Farm for auto insurance, so was scared into agreeing to this for fear of having a car repair bill she can't afford. She never signed anything. She gave out her **** information and the charge has been coming out, ****** each month for at least 4.The company website says she must send letters to the seller, all caps, to cancel. Because she will NEVER remember who this person said they were representing besides Mepco, we are stuck unless we cancel her **** card. My mom doesn't even have a car anymore! She also does not remember this even happening. This disgusting, unethical, and aggressive sales strategy has been an issue since her husband dies. He was pretty savvy and could shut them down.****** a month may not seem like much to some people but since she was born in ****, financial security has always been a source of anxiety for her. If you tell her she could be liable for thousands of dollars to repair her car, a little each month sounds reasonable.I do not understand why companies like this and ******** supplement companies are alowed to make sales without any face to face contact or actual signature.

      I am rejecting this response because: MEPCO knows that many of the people who say yes to this, have no idea they are speaking with anyone NOT affiliated with MEPCO at the time of the agreement. Then, when the person wants to cancel because MEPCO knows they are selling a fake product, they try to get out of it by telling us to contact THE SELLER. It is clear from the response this company believes they can continue to steal old peoples money because of this language in their agreement. 
      We want her policy cancelled immediately and a refund of the ****** which has been charged to her credit card for the past several months. THEY can get the money from THE SELLER. If they even know who it was.

      I kept seeing the commercials on the television and I know how expensive auto repairs can be, so I decided to call and get coverage for my wife's car. I spoke with a Mepco Endurance person, and they told me that they cover people in *********, and it is a great idea to get coverage for the car, etc. I got coverage around September or October of 2020 and last May, I took the car to **** and the attendant at **** told me that Mepco Endurance has been giving refunds to customers because **** doesn't recognize them. He gave me a phone number to call, and I spoke with someone that I assumed was from Endurance. They told me that I had to write to cancel my policy (which I did one week later when I arrived back to ****, and they are still taking money from my account. They also told me that they would refund my entire amount that they had been taking from my account since September or October of 2020. I haven't received anything from them yet. Now, they don't answer the phone. These people should be jailed.

      I am rejecting this response because: ************ knowingly wrote policies for **** and ********* knowing that **** wouldn't accept them and they couldn't do business in *********. I had been paying for nearly two years and knew nothing about this until I took my wife's vehicle to **** in May 2022 (keep in mind tgat I purchased this on October 2020). When the service manager at ***************** notified me that Mepco Endurance was involved in a class action lawsuit and was giving refunds to ********* customers.  I called them with a number he provided and was told that I would be receiving a full refund from them. He srated all i had to do was send a cancellation letter (which i did as soon as i arrived back at my base in **** (i was leaving the next day). To date, I have received nothing.  The promise was to refund $1200+ Dollars. So, no I'm not happy with this because I've called, wrote two letters now, and only get the runaround from these charlatans.  I don't waste time writing the BBB for no reason.

      I received a letter in the mail from Mepco stating that I have a balance that I need to pay of $387. Theyve been charging my bank $189 on the 30th of each month for 6 months now. Ive never received any other documents from them besides this one. Ive tried calling and looking online, but I cannot get ahold of anybody. I have warranty through the dealership in which I bought my car from. I called to ask if they knew about this and they said that theyve never done business with another company. I would like help on how to solve this issue. I want to cancel the contract.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      I found out that there is a different business involved who is also not answering phone calls. I already sent a complaint in to Ensure Auto Protection and hope to resolve the issue from there.
