On March 31, 2025, this company, ************************************************ reported a collection account to my credit report to all three credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax, and **********. When I contacted the number provided on my credit report for this agency, at ************, I inquired about the negligent reporting and ensured I had no previous debt with the alleged original creditor. When I asked for documentation or information on the account holder, my name and date of birth were given, but the last four of the social security number they provided did not belong to me, which indicated this account was reported to my credit report erroneously and this company failed to confirm this information and accuracy before making such a negative reporting to my credit reputation, and is a definite result of violating my rights pursuant to the **** 15 USC 1681b. Attached to this complaint will be a copy of social security card and ID to ensure I have no debts to this *********************************************** creditor and demand IMMEDIATE removal of this reporting from all three credit bureaus no later than 24 hours from receiving this complaint, or I will be forced to pursue legal litigation and will demand monetary remedies for the hardship this reporting has caused me.Business Response

I recently discovered a collection account on my credit report from Harris & Harris, Ltd. However, I havent received any mail correspondence from **************************************************** regarding this issue. Ive been contacted at work multiple times and have instructed them to remove my work number from their records. Despite this, **************************************************** is claiming that I owe $525.64, which I have no knowledge of.I have no accounts with **************************************************** and do not owe them any debts. Therefore, I request that they delete the information from all three major credit reports and consumer reports. Additionally, I want **************************************************** to cease all collection efforts, close the associated accounts, and notify all three credit reporting agencies and consumer reports to remove this account from my credit and consumer reports. Furthermore, I want to ensure that **************************************************** never reinserts this account onto any of my credit or consumer reports in the future.
